Such a great way to spend an hour and a half or so. I have always enjoyed coming here, it's relaxing and a fun way to engage with your creative side. I like to walk the galleries before reading the story behind them to see if I interpreted the intended meaning/message just by viewing!

Large gallery for a smaller city - but really wonderful pieces, especially the photography exhibition
There is something for everyone at the Boise Art Museum (BAM)! BAM presents 12-16 exciting new exhibitions each year, featuring a range of artistic styles, media, periods, and cultures. BAM inspires and engages people of all ages through its monthly education programs, studio art workshops, children’s ARTexperience Gallery, and special events, including Art in the Park each September. Visit the BAM Store to find unique gifts, including jewelry, accessories, toys, books, décor, and more. Museum admission is $5 - $9. Children ages 5 and under and BAM Members are FREE. Admission is "pay what you can" on the First Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
