I’ve been a customer of the store for years. I went into the store to check on the warranty on some rechargeable batteries. The salesman that helped me was grumpy about doing so, and was not short on snarky comments.

Bought a used jeep, drove straight to BP to buy a new battery for it. They even swapped it out for me. Great service! Been buying my batteries here for years.

Won't you sell me a watch battery?I went in to get a common 395 watch battery. The employee offered me their $20 service to replace it, which includes lifetime replacement. That would be fine, but I explained to him that I have watch repair experience and just need the battery for a watch I am selling, so I don't need the warranty. He then told me that they could not sell me the battery by itself because of "certain federal packaging restrictions." After leaving, I did a quick online search and discovered that my local Ace hardware has the battery in stock. Apparently, the restrictions don't apply to them.

Hope you DID go in to this store = right across from Cost Co - to get AA and/or AAA batteries. The 48 packs were on sale. The price per battery at Batteries Plus was 35 cents EACH. Same sizes were .45 cents EACH at Cost Co, even with $3 off they offered. Parking is easy. Staff is friendly. And NO LINE when I was there.

When I'd pass this business I always thought of the SNL Scotch tape store comedy. But, having my cell phone battery die, I took it in and they replaced it with the correct battery immediately. Then I went there for my garage door battery. Then for a car fob battery. Dang, they fix all the things you need that you don't know where you should find the battery or bulb. They do car batteries and, of course, have light bulbs of every sort - including appliance bulbs. Seriously, I love this place!

I had them order me a second keyfob for my vehicle. They scheduled an appointment to have me come in to program the keyfob. Day of appointment I called to confirm my 2pm appointment and was told they were much too busy to program the new keyfob. Went in and got my money back and then went to Advanced Lock & Key where they had the keyfob in stock and programmed it same day for $100 cheaper.

I went to the store because I needed a replacement bulb for a lamp that needs a particular bulb style. I had shopped online for it, but came up empty. I brought the dead bulb to the store to assist in finding the correct product. Before I even got to the counter, expecting to order it for delivery. But a clerk without asking, recognized the exact product I needed and retrieved it and delivered it to me.

0 stars.TLDR: My recommendation go else where, they won't honor the warranty. We bought a car battery from them and about 9 months later the car wouldn't start. Went through and made sure it wasn't the alternator or the starter. Deciding it was the battery, we took it in and asked that they would test it (We had a 3 year warranty after all). They told us that the battery was perfect and charged. 3 months later the car wouldn't start again. this time we triple checked the alternator and starter, both were good. we took the battery in to a different franchise and we're told that the battery had a bad cell. So we go in again and asked them to recheck the battery. They come back and told us that the battery is perfect and charged. I inform them that I have checked all the other parts of the car and that it must be the battery. They tell me, what sounds to be rehearsed, "you must not be driving it enough", "BMWs have a problem with AGM batteries" (they were never told the make of my car). I told them I had it checked elsewhere and that the battery was bad. They continued to give me excuse after excuse as to why it wasn't the battery but the car. They continued to get very irritated with me after I explained to them why their reasoning isn't sound/accurate and started cussing under their breath as I left the store.

Beware the lifetime battery replacement is bad, walk in with my key fob and informed I had a lifetime replacement, he instantly asked if if I had so fobs( I did not) , he takes to the back and says there no mark inside, not in front of me but in the back, indicates he remembers me, but cannot find my history, wants to know if I want another lifetime replacement, no I don’t , $ $15.00 to replace and seems bewildered I don’t want to spend another $5.00 for something that did not work the first time, shady very shady
