They have shut down my card and access to money so many times and without notification or permission for stupid reasons that I took my business elsewhere. They then decided that taking what little taxes I got back for those spendy paper statements wasn't enough, and I was mailed a notification saying they Twere straight up shutting my account down for inactivity. No word on giving me a check for MY money that was in there. Nothing.Anyhow, they did. They shut down access to my money and bank account without my permission.I had to physically go in to tell them to start my bank account again.I told them not to send me paper statements anymore because I didn't have that much in there. They said they would send a card in the mail as well. Here we are about 3 weeks later, with a paper statement, no card, and no access to my money, with them saying they just "didn't have enough info. to verify me" with my social security number, birthdate, and license number.I was supposed to receive a phone call today to receive access to my fucking bank account.Nope. I feel dismissed. I feel invalidated, invisible, and disrespected.Fuck this bank. The people at the dt Boise location are really nice, but everywhere else they are fucking "our shit doesn't stink" tools.Like it's Boise. Get a fucking grip, dude. Anyhow, I would have been, and would be fucked if I had both now, and several times over previously had I trusted this bank. Placing a complaint with the FDIC.

Steer clear. Pick almost any other bank. I have been a customer for over a decade, and within the past few months new fees are getting tacked onto EVERYTHING. Checking accounts now have daily balance checks (I had a transfer coming through so dipped below the threshold for <24 hours, but was charged $4 nonetheless). A new "external transfer fee," where I had to pay $2 just to transfer money from Banner Bank to my outside account. I asked if they could excuse the $4 fee, as I didn't realize the balance check was that strict (again, less than 24 hours my balance was below), but the response was, "No, we can't." Cool. Not sure how they hope to maintain a foothold when there are tons of other banks without fees and with much better customer service.

Been a customer for nearly ten years, will be closing accounts and moving to different bank. Lack of empathy and follow through from customer service people. I used to love the branch on fairview that closed. The manager, there was great.

I love this bank. They're always really helpful when I have questions, setting up your card for use outside of the US is a breeze, No hidden fees, they waive ATM fees, etc. I will never switch banks and recommend them to anyone I talk to. Very happy customer. My only complaint is the app, but it continually gets updated and is now a lot better! Could have more features but it gets the job done (:

I have had good experiences here in the past but my last two experiences have been mediocre. The first time I wanted to check on some savings bonds and instead of just checking their worth, the teller cashed them for me despite some of them not having fully matured and not checking with me first. This is obviously not reversible. Today, I put some coins that were in a bag and the (different than last time) exasperated teller asked somewhat accusingly if I knew how much was in there to which I responded. She took my money to be deposited and came back annoyed saying I was wrong and gave me the correct amount. Ok, so I messed up my math, thank you for checking on that... You're a bank. Service has also been very slow. I guess I better economy does not mean better customer service.

Uh, excuse me? This place is AWFUL. My husband had to take care of something and the ATM at banner bank took the money back in (less than 60 seconds) stating the money was not taken in time and ARE NOW SAYING ITS GOING TO BE A WEEK BEFORE WE GET OUR MONEY BACK?
