Great people with great knowledge. The crew has the smarts to help you with your needs. John actually told me not to spend money on something I did not really need. I wanted it because of what I had read and John helped me see the difference between want and need.

Best fly shop I’ve ever been to! Immediately was greeted by smiles and great conversation! As a newer member to the sport it was awesome to be treated respectfully and have people so willing to help and give advice. Definitely my go-to for any fly fishing needs!

The best fly shop in town if you’re looking for gear, knowledge and advice. Great guide services as well. These guys care about the sport and it shows.

They are a local fly fishing shop, very knowledgeable about the area and what flies to use for fishing. They tie most of the flies that they sell. Also have guild services.

Best fly shop ever. John and his staff are extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of fishing. My son recently started tying his own flies and the help and information he gets from Anglers is second to none!

My favorite fly shop in Boise. John runs a great shop, the staff is knowledgeable about their products as well as local fishing. Also great advise for the traveling anglers and you can outfit yourself for saltwater fishing as well. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out the shop.

Came into this shop not looking to buy anything. Just some advise on good fishing spots to take the grandkids. They were very helpful and knowledgeable on where and what to use. Also have a nice supply. Thank you for your great service! And yes we did catch fish!

Owner and staff can't be beat for assistance and knowledge. I rarely shop for fly fishing equipment and materials anywhere else.

I live in the area and frequent several of the local shops but Anglers is my go-to shop for everything fly fishing. They have been extremely helpful, whether it is getting a new piece of gear or fly-tying supplies. I often stop by on my way to fish an Idaho river to get specific advice. John is down-to-earth and hard working and I highly recommend him and his shop.

10 or so years ago I took one of the owner’s fly tying classes. He was very friendly and helped me improve my tying. Great place to get ideas on what to tie and where to fish next.

Stopped into this shop the other day and was pleasantly surprised! Very nice and knowledgeable staff that made sure to answer any questions that I had. They have a great selection of flies that are outstanding quality with many tied in house. I was recommended a couple flies for the Boise river and the proof is in my photos! Will definitely be frequenting this shop for my future flies.

This is EXACTLY what you want from a local fly shop. They're knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. I went in there expecting to get a little help with some equipment, technique and maybe some areas they could lead me to some decent fishing. They spent a considerable amount of time setting me up, explaining exactly how, when and where to use it and overall set me out with the confidence I'd run into some fish. All they're information and help paid off for 3 great days of fishing and a life long customer. I will always shop local first and definitely Anglers is the place to be for me... Thanks guys... Good times..

Great local flyshop! My sweetheart went to an intro to fly fishing class here and we are both very impressed with the great job John did as her instructor. The class covered literally every aspect of the sport for a novice fly fisher. The curriculum was presented with much enthusiasm and a genuine desire for the students to learn and enjoy the sport. Topics covered were fish biology, habit, reading water, tactics for success when fishing, ethical fishing practices, nessary gear, knot tying and learning to cast using shop supplied equipment. The class was estimated to last 4 hours and when it ran into the 5th John never once rushed to wrap it up. John is a great teacher and a class act! I wish had this opportunity when I got started...
