I'm very disappointed in my local Albertsons here in ********* ******.There has been no regular cashier's only self checkout. Asking customer service if one could be opened was ignored. Older customers and one in wheelchair were struggling with the machines. Why does it take your distribution centers so long to unload the truck drivers. You set appointment times and yet the truck drivers sit around an average of 4-5 hours waiting to even get a dock. You have lumper services to increase productivity but yet it takes longer. I know you don’t care or see the point of view of the drivers. But once we stop delivering to you it’ll be too late. All this money and profits yet you losing in the long run on time and efficiency.

Today was at least the fifth time I have caught Albertsons/Safeway overcharging for grocery items at checkout. I use self-checkout registers so I have been able to catch the errors easier. The stores use labels which advertise lower prices for digital coupon items. The problem lies in that they are using very small black font to identify the item as needing a digital coupon. The sale price though is shown using very large red font. Those of us with some visual impairment cannot see the smaller print. Often the labels are placed at the bottom of the display cases near the floor. Even those with good eye sight will typically see only the sale price and Albertsons knows this. Remember consumers are looking at a large amount of information in addition to the price such as whether it is high or low fat, gluten free, artificial ingredients, sourcing, brands, expiration dates, etc. I wonder if the CEO Vivek Sankaran and the board of directors have told the press and investors that overcharging customers was one way they have been able to make the immense profits they have been bragging about since the pandemic.

It’s very questionable whether Albertsons or Safeway is keeping customers’ information secure.Last year I complained to the customer service email about random people using my points at gas stations by using my phone number, because when people use points, all they need to do is to input a phone number without any other verification. The customer service always told me they were investigating and then stopped replying to my follow-ups.Think twice before you give them your phone number or information to become a member, etc.

Albertsons lacks fundamental fairness and decency. They overcharged my debit card $157.00. It's been 17 weeks and I'm still trying to get a refund. They are crooks. 17 WEEKS $157.00. That money was supposed to go for Thanksgiving Dinner 2022. Albertsons lacks fundamental fairness and decency. After 18 weeks I finally got the refund. Albertsons actually set me up as a vendor with a vendor account just to refund my money. I'll bet I get a 1099 tax form for income as well. They are cruel and ruthless.-----------After 18 weeks I did get the refund. They set me up as a vendor so they could write me a check. What a bunch of clowns. I'm not laughing.

This is the worst customer service anywhere. If you call the Boise HQ to file a complaint, you end up in another country with an outsourced CS person who speaks lousy English.

I called twice and was hung up on before even speaking with someone with customer service. I then called the operator who I explained the situation to and he just sent me to the 877 by number.

For the past seven years I have spent 95% of my grocery budget at Albertsons, but that ends today. I left a message with the corporate office about Albertsons sponsoring the Boise Pride Festival and nobody has returned my call. In particular, I was concerned about the kid's drag show and Drag story time. I will not support a company the approves of and condones the sexualization of children. I am so disappointed with Albertsons. I will not spend another dime there.

First of all, I would like to start off saying I love shopping at this Fairview Market Place Albertsons, BUT and A BIG BUT, something I saw on Sunday Aug. 21, 2022, will change my opinion in a BIG way in the future!! I was in-store at around 10:15 - 10:30 am on Sunday Aug. 21, 2022, I was ordering from the deli and then going to get my usual salad to go from the cold bar. While I was at the deli counter, which was amazing I should have gotten her name, she was amazing, I herd a loud pulling sticky tape noise which made me turn to the salad bar where an employee was pulling up the nasty dirty sticky flooring paper around the salad bar, this thing was like 15-20 long along the salad bar, I looked to see and the salad bar was FULL, which made me cringe, thinking of all the dirt and nasty foot flooring particles/debris going into the UNCOVERED food above!! I almosti sad something to the employee but just shuttered and of course I DID NOT get my salad after seeing this. Please -please do NOT let this happen, this is not food sanitation!! Pls use common sense!! Gross!!

Management team relatively good people to work with. Corporate however will screw you over every time. And it's too difficult for the management to get rid of the problem employees. I will never eat the deli food at Albertsons again until they do a drastic change in cleanliness techniques and duties.

Staff at the 36th st. store are just the BEST! I use the pick-up and delivery service and the delivery girls are the friendliest . It has been a year and we are close friends now. The pharmacy staff is most exceptional. Gwen is so professional yet friendly and reassuring at the same time. I treasure all of them
