Don't bother making an appointment for a vaccination at an Albertsons Pharmacy. On two occasions, I have made an appointment to be vaccinated and have arrived for the appointment, only to be told that they were out of the vaccine. The first time was at the pharmacy in Eagle, when they were out of the Moderna Covid booster that I was scheduled to receive.Today, at the Albertsons Pharmacy at 7100 W State in Boise, they had given the Shingrix vaccine I was scheduled for to a guy who had walked in less than 5 minutes before I arrived early for my appointment. In fact, he was just getting his paperwork for the vaccination when I stepped up to the window for my appointment.Two times I have given Albertsons Pharmacy the courtesy of scheduling a vaccination, and they have just run out of it when I arrived for my appointment. What a discourteous way to treat a customer!

Everyone I go here there are so many people working and on checker ..this late time I got a roasted chicken that was still bloody inside mentioned and showed a pic to someone and they just gave me its on a timer and that's how we cook all our chickens ..salmonella is going to happen from this store and deli ..I will not shop there again I'm scared of getting sick

Don't shop here. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a grocery store in my life. We are on a road trip and purchased deodorant at the location closer to downtown on state street and my daughter trying to save time ran up to exchange this for the items she needed and the customer service rep was completely RUDE and unwilling to do the exchange because she said it's from a different location. Albertson's website says you can return things to any location which my daughter pulled up on the website and showed to the customer service rep. She's now driving to the original location of purchase. Will not return to location.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for half a year. The managers are great; they are actually helpful and friendly. However, some of the employees there are just rude.A larger gentlemen helped me but basically didn’t converse with me. When I went up to the counter and said hello he returned with “birthdate and year?”. He then proceeded to talk with his coworker and mess with random stuff on the ground before slowly getting my Rx for me. After I paid he turned the cold shoulder to me. As a retail worker this type of behavior is really bad for business. I’m considering a new pharmacy due to this individual.

The pharmacist doesn’t listen to her messages and fills the wrong dose of prescription. When I got home and noticed that it was the wrong dose of medication I called and asked her if she even ever listened to her voicemails, to which she responded “no”. She then said she could transfer the script to another pharmacy or mail it to me when I expressed I was irritated and upset with the entire situation because some people don’t make a ton of $$ and can’t afford gas to go back and forth. Very unprofessional and the pharmacy techs are not very pleasant to converse with, as well. I’ve had nothing but issues each time I’ve filled here. ??♀️

I haven't ever had problems with this pharmacy that wouldn't be common anywhere else, especially for big chains like this, and even then they have only been minor hiccups that they work to fix as quickly as possible. I have been coming in at least once a month since moving to this side of town, and I'm always pleased with the service. Everyone has always been very helpful to me. Jeremy was a life saver when my gramma moved in and had issues getting prescriptions transferred from out of state, and continues to be a very patient and helpful pharmacist. The staff always does what they can to help her get better prices on her medicines, too, since Medicare and Tricare don't do as much as they should for their patients.No one has ever been cranky or rude to me, and if anyone has had that experience, they are probably used to dealing with people who work in say, food service chains, where you can get fired for not pretending you are in love with your job and enjoy verbal abuse from the public. Real live humans work here, and they've all been great to me and my family.

I previously left a poor review. After thinking about it I started to realize how hard things are on everyone right now. I spoke to a manager who was so kind and understanding. We had a very open conversation about problems everyone has seen here and she was grateful to hear so she could try to fix some of the issues that can be controlled. It’s so easy to name all of the bad things about a place but right now they are so busy and so under staffed. I realize some of the staff have been this way well before Covid, but I can see that nee management is trying to help.

This pharmacy has gotten worse and worse. You can’t get any information from anyone, they do not pick up their phone, they don’t refill medication when asked. You wait in line for 30 minutes because they typically only have one person working the pick ups. I have never experienced anyone being nice to me. This is the worst pharmacy out of all Albertsons pharmacies by far. Do not waste your time.

I have lived in the area for over a year. I have a prescription I pick up monthly, I always call ahead of time. Every time I call I speak with a rude pharmacist (they’re different every time). None of them seem to know what they’re doing. I always end up waiting at least an hour to pick up my prescription even though I have called ahead of time and they give me an estimated time of pick up, my RX is never ready when they say it will be. I have never had this much of an issue with a pharmacy and I will be switching to a pharmacy that has employees who can do their jobs effectively.

In the midst of this COVID crisis, I have been here three times to get vaccinated and had to leave before getting the shot because it took so long--this last time, over 45 minutes, even though there was no one else in front of me getting a shot. Finally, I got it somewhere else. Oh, and they lost my prescription and medication, which they found after sorting through loose papers a week later.

My review was on Saturday. On Sunday I got a response which you can see in the review. Pretty impressive! I followed the instructions to get to their custom email form (I hate those) and filled it out. My email was rather lengthy, blathering about how I knew Joe Albertson (who didn't?), and then when I posted the email I got a message that the server failed. So I am not going to try again. Hey Alby's Corporate, just give me an email address, okay? But I had another errand out that way, and I stopped by and spoke to the employee at the meat counter, she was very nice, she said that she would "tell them". She also said that even if the steaks are on sale that they will cut one custom for you if they have anything left that isn't already cut. Just because butchers are covered in blood and wave knives around, don't be intimidated, they are actually quite nice! So this Alby's is getting two more stars just for being responsive. I'm not looking for refunds or coupons, I am just passionate about the steak I buy once a month because I can't afford it any more than that, and I want it to be a very good one.
