This place is going downhill extremely fast, Second time I traveled a fair distance. Being over 25 miles each way. To be told that they do not have it in stock, when I did my online order, it said AutoZone in Athol had it in stock. That is why I traveled to Athol to pick it up. I don’t know if it’s because the employees don’t want to work, If the computer system is so outdated, it just can’t figure anything out. When I walked in, nobody was at the register, I wasn’t greeted by anybody, ever. I had plenty of time to just grab whatever I wanted and walk out. Nobody would’ve done anything anyways, nobody was around. My previous experience about a week ago I had done my online order made sure it was in stock showed up on time and the fella told me he didn’t even have my order, I told him it was probably because he was busy having chat time with customers and didn’t want to complete my order, Lo and behold my order showed up and it was In stock. This place is terrible. Worse than O’Reillys will not shop here anymore.

Very rude. Asked to hold, and I had no problem with that. When taking me off hold, the tone was rude and told me he is super busy and already helping 3 other people. I have patience, and I don't mind holding. But essentially, sandbagging the interaction from frustration isn't really cool. Take a breather and don't answer the phone next time.

A worker here Kennth Paul Cook charged my commercial account for a part that a customer was buying and told me on the phone he’d charge his card, ended up charging both of us…very shady location and dishonest. Avoid this Autozone. Caused a very uncomfortable conversation with my client to take place.

While autozone has a reputation for not being the highest quality auto parts store, these days even Napa sources most parts from china. We're just a few miles away from this store and use it out of convenience. We typically come in once a week for odds an ends. Although some are better than others, the utter incompetency of the employees here is mind boggling. The last incident was when purchasing a serpentine belt, my wife was given the wrong one which we did not realize until removing the old one and putting the new one on. Low and behold the employee gave us a belt for a dual alternator version of our truck instead of a single. It happened to be the only time we were temporarily down to one car, and even the ATV still had tracks installed, so a huge inconvenience! We should have confirmed the part as opposed to relying on someone who's job it is, but unfortunately didn't. In the future, we'll definitely go out of our way not to shop here unless absolutely necessary and recommend you do the same. Garbage parts, incompetent employees, premium prices.

It is nice to have an auto parts store in Athol. It saves me from driving to Hayden or Sandpoint for oil change items and basic parts like wipers,fluids etc.
