I had a recent issue with Mountain America Credit Union's service call center, but my visit to the Ammon MACU branch turned my experience around. Amanda, one of the tellers, tried to understand my problem and actively worked with me to find a solution. I had not encountered such exceptional service in IF. Amanda's assistance made a significant difference, and I am grateful for the outstanding support I received

I enjoy the atmosphere of the open floor plan. Although, it can be difficult to find the end of the line. Fortunately the lines are very short. The staff is always friendly. I feel like I am the most important person in the world.

I am new with Mountain America Credit Union, but I am pleasantly startled and surprised with how efficient, pleasant and professional the facilities and staff are when I go in to do my banking. I really appreciate the extended hours that they provide on Saturdays, I very much appreciate the pleasant and cheerful professionalism and the obvious hard work that the staff puts in to difficult problems and to making sure things work out smoothly with my encounters. This is the best experience that I have had banking in many many years and I'd like to congratulate the staff at Mountain America for restoring my faith in the banking system!!

I recently retired and returned home to Idaho after living in various cities across the United States. In early January, my wife and I went to the Ammon Branch. There was a line of five people in front of us with a couple of people sitting on the couch. We waited for 15-20 minutes. When we got to the teller and asked about opening an account we were told we would have to wait another 20-30 minutes. We didn’t have time to wait more so we left. As we were leaving one of the people on the couch got up and said they couldn’t wait any longer and left. Our previous credit union had “Lobby Leaders” who would greet you at the door and ask how they could help you. If they had this, we would have known about the wait and not have wasted our time. I tried to find a simple customer service email on their website to express my concern. There was only a formal General Servicing process which forced to select a reason from a drop-down menu. The closest we could identify was checking since that was the account we wanted to set up. I explained the situation and submitted. I received an email telling me they would forward to the appropriate department and I would hear back from them (my number was #443968). They gave a phone number if it was urgent, but it wasn’t urgent and I had just explained everything. I waited for a week and heard nothing, so I used the same process again. I received the same generic response. It has now been over a month I have heard nothing from them. It is really surprising they don't want our business. In addition to a checking account we have retirement funds in various sources that we were looking to consolidate within a Wealth Management Department. I recommend going to a place that values your membership, hires the appropriate number of employees to service their members and uses quality member service training and processes.

I forgotten my pin an there app.is hard to navigate through. An all I wanted is to get my pin or change my pin.took over 2hours to do an still no help.

This bank is terrible. It's a nightmare. Whatever you do don't sign up for a membership because you'll regret it later. Credit unions are liars.
