Deseret industries is a great place to shop. And also a great place to train and learn how to go and get a better job.

Pull in the back to drop off and donate, great clean selection. Never had an issue with a broken item. Fair to great pricing.

I think they should rename it to just Deseret Industries and drop the thrift store part of the name. I give it two stars because it is clean and orderly. It also seems like they finally started to filter junk donations with good thrift items. Which is great because many people who donate don’t seem to know the difference between junk trash and appropriate items to donate.Anyhow, my main complaint is the prices are crazy. Some of the prices for items are severely unreasonable when they are getting it for free. I would consider pricing items to be in multiple tiers; Thrift stores, Facebook Market Place/Ebay, and department stores like Walmart and Target. The Deseret Industries has been pricing items as if they’re selling on Facebook marketplace and even Walmart. It truly is not very thrifty, at least for the furniture and “yard area” items.Pictures:These clearly outdated couch set was $250, and the scuffed up coffee table was $100. If those people that donated them (for free) decided to sell on Facebook instead of giving to the DI I’m not convinced they would even get that kind of money out of those items. And that’s a purchasing platform people expect to pay more money than a thrift store.

Decent selection compared to other desert industries. The pricing doesn’t make sense though. They’re basically pricing broken/empty items (especially name brands) higher then knock of items that are in good condition.

For it being ran by the Mormon church and they say family is more important sure don't act like it when it comes not being able to work a day because of kids. And they need to be understanding of scheduling

I love shopping at the DI!But, when they take advantage of name brand stuff that’s a no for me. I’m sorry but you’re getting donations and to be pricing them pretty high just because they are well known just seems crazy to me. I go cause having kids they grow fast and sometimes gets expensive so I go to second hand stores hoping to find a good deal. But asking $25 for a pair of used pants yeah sorry no. Just baffles me really.

Newer building that they keep clean and organized. Used to be an amazing deal but slowly becoming harder to find worth while things. The prices for clothes have been creeping up in the last few years to where it's not much of a bargain. Can find cheaper deals for brand new clothes on sale at many places in town now.

I love this thrift store. People are always friendly, and the prices are wonderful. This store has a little bit of everything. I recently got an entirely new outfit selection, still had money left.

Prices are ok. Employees are nice. Most good items are took by the ebay sellers before they hit the floor, it's like a pack of piranhas who smelt blood. That's annoying but not the stores fault.

I love how your parent can donate something of yours, and you can go to DI a week later and find it.Anyway, great prices, for a good cause too.

The D.I has a great selection of shoes, apparel, furniture, dishes, picture frames, outdoor stuff, pretty much anything you'd need.

Prices on books .50 children's, adults .75 and up to $5 for big books, Cd's $1 which were reasonable. Book section very unorganized no real places for anything, me and a few customers tried our best to try and fix a few shelves. Clothing seemed a bit expensive $8 for pants? Younger staff on floor not very helpful and self absorbed, but older employees were awesome and helpful!
