EXPERIENCE:
This store is located in the Waikele Premium Outlets in a medium-sized spot in the mall's west end. Parking is horrendous. The shop was neat and organized, with shoe samples on display and the inventory stacked on shelves right behind the display. It's mainly a self-serve kind of operation but an abundant amount of staff buzz around offering assistance.

Vans has a nice selection of men's shoes in a variety of colors and patterns, but the only thing that irks me is their label that's glued onto the back of the soles that aren't even flat but protrude up on one side due to a bump in the design. I picked up a low top in ash gray with accents of black plaid and cement gray soles. And on top of that, everything in the store was BOGO half-off. Every single item! We saved bookoo bucks! And for the record, don't think their products are defective or irregular because it's an outlet store; there's nothing wrong with them.

The workers were all very friendly and helpful; so unlike what I'm accustomed to on Maui where you get no acknowledgment or assistance. The female cashier who assisted us was terrific too and very patient as she walked us over to where the shoe laces were and assisted us instead of just pointing them out.

OVERALL:
We found such great deals here and at other stores in Waikele, so they're definitely on our must-do list when visiting Oahu. My shoe size wasn't available in some styles which is the only reason this review isn't a 5-star.”

“Looking for some outerwear...When you do live in a warmer climate searching for something warm can be challenging especially when you still don't want to waste that effort as a single use item. American Eagle is one of a bunch of shops at the Waikele Premium Outlet looked promising.Yes there are deals and a lovely selection on some sweater, sweatshirts, jackets and socks though it seems like it's only on specific items and seeing some Christmas prints which are regular priced having current items isn't what I'm look for when it comes to value is like a tease. There were many promising choices but I really didn't want to spend that much sadly it wasn't a place for me thinking of an outlet deals.Service was non existent as no one greeted or even make any eye contact but it didn't really bother me as I was still in browse mode and didn't need any assistance though just is sad that it's been like this at many places.Thank you!”

“Went on 26 DEC for after Christmas shopping. The last time I was here was about 6 years ago and what I will say is the store is vastly improved since 6 years ago. Preciously, the store was in complete disarray with piles of unfolded clothes on tables and clothes half hanging off hangers. “I have been in the Waikele Gap many times. Each time, I engage a little small talk with several different workers there, and every time I find each one of them to be friendly, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and competent/professional, whether the person is younger or older. The clothes themselves seem to be made of high quality materials. The appearance of the clothing items there seems nice as well, and the sale prices are incredibly low, so low that it makes you feel a little guilty for buying such nice items for so little money. Please share my review with your workers at the store, so that they can know that their kindness means more to some people than they probably thought.”

“I'm a selective shopper that goes for sales once in a blue moon to replace work attire. I care about top quality clothes. I last bought work pants three years ago and amazed that it's in great condition after going through front load washer and dryer almost weekly. Now, I decided to replace a few tops and a sweater with three sweaters for work. Workers on sales floor, fitting room, and register were very helpful and friendly. Regular price for each sweater was $75, minus two discounts, price reduced to $22.49. Definitely a win win scenario.”

“I came to Michael Kors with the intention to purchase a wallet of a specific color. Upon walking it, it appeared that the staff were bringing out new merchandise, changing up the sales floor to accommodate the new merch. I was greeted immediately upon walking in. I was asked by multiple team members if I need any assistance. They even introduced themselves to me and I to them. As I proceeded to the back do the store by the men's department, I was warmly greeted by Manager Trevor. Loved how he took the time to get to know me and what I'm looking for. Enjoyed our conversation and laughter. Trevor, along with the other manager, Ari, helped me pick out pieces from for me and my husband. They fully took care of me. I walked out with more than what i should have, but it was all worth it. Stellar service from Trevor and his team.”

“I am always impressed with this location! The sales girls are very kind, pleasant and helpful. When they see me browsing, they ask if I need help or if I'm looking for anything in particular. The sales are unbelievable! They frequently have 50% off their red priced/clearance items both online and in store. The color schemes and outfits they put together is very creative! I asked my cashier if they have an outline of how to make it. She told me, they just put it together and it changes every week. “Great customer service. I called ahead of time to see if they had a dress in stock that I saw online. The person I spoke to on the phone was nice and I appreciated her taking the time to find the dress in various sizes and she even found different colors and put them on hold. This location is compact but there is a lot of inventory, especially jeans! Packed full of discounted jeans that aren't on the site! Your girl got 3 pant sizes thickerrrr and I refuse to pay much for jeans. I got a couple pairs for only $20 each. The person who helped me at the register even gave me $20 off while I was contemplating on purchasing a shirt or not at the register after finding out it cost more than I thought lol.”
