I came in and was completely transparent with my situation. Recently divorce so my credit wasn't too great. Single mother just looking for an affordable and reliable vehicle to get me to both my jobs, my kids schools, and their sport practices. Test drove a few vehicles and ones transmission was about to give out according to their mechanic. Ended up getting a van. I made the mistake of not selecting warranty on my contract. Not even two weeks after purchasing the van it started to overheat. Radiator hoses needed to be replaced. Paid for rental cars and Ubers to get me to and from work for 2 weeks while it was in the shop. Got it back and not even two weeks later the transmission goes out. It's not drivable at all now. I only made one car payment and used the van for barely a month. $3500 for a new transmission not including the labor. Representative said there's nothing the dealership can do and if fixed I have to pay for all of it out of pocket. As if I wasn't already struggling now I have a financial obligation to this van that I can't even drive, or afford to fix. This place sold me a lemon and completely screwed me over. Now I'm in a worse position than I was before I walked into Bayview Auto Dealership. I'm out $16,000 and have no car at all. My co worker also bought a vehicle here right after me, and it broke down that week. The whole engine fell out underneath. There was no engine mounts. They put her into another car and it broke down too. They just put her into a car that's actually drivable after they made her pay for all the tows of the broken cars back to the dealership. Please don't waste your money or time here. I wish I would've done more research on Bayview Auto Dealership background and creditability before signing the contract.

I was at wits end with riding the bus with my credit I didn't think it would be possible for me to get anything with wheels, but the folks at Bayview really came through for me! Liloa was extremely helpful in finding a vehicle that matched my lifestyle and my budget most importantly. It's a used car dealership so of course there will some old cars but at the end of the day it's your fault if you buy a vehicle without fully examining every aspect of it. No need complain when YOU bought the vehicle. I'm so happy with my purchase and I can finally stay OFF DA BUS! Thank you Bayview! Low credit no worries they got you!

Purchased vehicle from them that was a total lemon. Engine problems and leaks, transmission problems, AC doesn't work after 10 days of purchase.

I normally don't do this but i can't just keep my mouth shut about this!! If you are thinking about getting a car DON'T EVER I REPEAT DON'T EVER GO TO BAYVIEW AUTO SALES IN WAIPAHU!!! They are the worst people ever they gave me a Nissan Armada my first week of having it the breaks needed to be changed, not even a week after there was a problem with the tires both back tires were going to blow because of the dent that was on the car (due to previous owners) caused the axle to mess up the tires!! Few months later there was a problem with the armada it wouldn't start, and now the transmission mind you i have warranty for the armada and with the warranty they have me pay 100$ deductible for the car to be serviced now it's been 1 month without the armada they told me that it would be 18 weeks to have it fixed due to them having to order the parts and what not and not only that they want me to pay 1800 for it to be serviced and to be making car payments while it's being serviced!! But they offered me temporary car a Honda Pilot the car needed an oil change i told them if they do the oil change I'll take it he goes and tells me no because it don't effect the driving so i take it home anyways luckily my dad knows how to fix cars he changed the oil added transmission fluid cuz that was low and to top it off the breaks were bad so he also changed the breaks we had the car for not even a full 3 days and the car starts driving weird all these lights come on i call them up and lost my cool told him the worker at Bayview (Lailoa) that the car they gave me is a piece of s*** and he just laughs what a f****** shame i put up with them for a year for a shitty a** car and to be treated like that hell no!! The pilot tho the safety sticker wasn't for the right plates, the interior was s*** and to top it off i demanded a refund on the repairs for the car and they tell me no what is your opinion on this here's some pictures and videos of both cars tell me what you think

if i could give them 0 stars i would !!!! they are so shady !!!! fakkkkeeee, scaaam. they are absolutely not legit at all ! do not i repeat do not purchase anything from these frauds! long story short - my baby sister purchased a car from them, ended up giving it back to bayview auto waipahu because it was a piece of crap. there was so many problems with it that they have not mentioned! & then they re sold the car !!!! but it is under the bank and now the bank keeps calling asking for the car which they had no idea that it was supposed to be returned to the bank because bayview was acting like they were supposed to give the car back to bayview !!!!!! theyve been calling and asking where there car was so they can pick it up and give it back to the bank but they are acting like they didnt not receive the car back because they resold the damn car! do not purchase from this horrible, lying people!!!!! do your research and read all the reviews that they are hiding or putting on the side so it doesnt pop up when people look them up!

If I could give 0 stars I would've. Traded a car into them and they didn't transfer it into their name before "selling it" and now got traffic violations on not only mine but my MIL's record because who ever they sold it to (if they even sold it) parked it on the street and abandoned it. Bayview only paid for 1 ticket out the 4 and now it went to collections and we both have stoppers on our license. I went to tell them again that we got another letter about the car in the mail and that we'd have to take legal action now and now the boss is willing to pay off the tickets which shouldn't even have been sent to us in the first place but that doesn't take the traffic violations off of our abstract. Edit- took me making a Yelp review for them to FINALLY pay off the tickets and now My mother in law and I have to try and get the traffic violations off both off our records which was once clean before this whole bs with bayview. I will tell everyone to never do business with them when anyone ever ask about a car. Also turning them in for shady business.

The car I put down was $2500 worth of down payment. Many time I had to come back to get the car fixed still I had to come back just to fix em. The boss wasn't professional enough to greet his customers The workers they can lie to you Car wasn't even worth my time or money Liloa had a good way of convincing when I was really close to backing out but he promised me that they'll promise to fix it for me . 1 week I waited to get em fixed and Liloa said it's still being fixed passes by the dealership car still sitting . Went to the mechanics they said my car didn't even go down but the cars that came after my car was already there before mines. Horrible experience especially for being the first car. Hate it ! And their office smelt like weed too how epic . Anyways never going to suggest anyone to buy a car here it's sucks!

If I could leave no stars I would I bought my car end of January engine light was on and dealership promised to fix whatever issue was wrong with it. I dropped the car off for service a few days later they had my car for almost 2 weeks saying they are waiting on parts. When I get my car back I have personal items missing out of my car including a (kanaka maioli flag, prescription designer glasses 2 pairs, perfume, Apple Watch charger,my box cutter and few other items). I'm told by the detail guy that homeless climb the fence at night and go into the cars wtf why would you have a customers car on your lot unlock without it being worked on? I goto the dealership the next morning since everyone was already gone who could address my stolen items not to mention driving home the engine light comes back on. I feel bad for Liloa he gets the brunt of the bs but at the same time he tells me he didn't know anything and no one will confess to taking my things he offers me only a month of credit for almost $2,000 in items that was stolen out of my car while they had it in there Possession. I did file a police report for my stolen items not to mention I had two loaners for while my car was in service first one when it rained was leaking water inside the car n tire damn near flat. Second one had a tire pressure light on and alignment was off in the car car would swerve and try to lock up which could cause u to get into an accident. I had my car for a few dats and had my mechanic check it out well well to find everything I was told was fixed or they were waiting for parts on was not I call and text Liloa the info he tells me to drop my car off a second time. I drop it off right on the 30th day of the agreement that they are supposed to have my car fixed again they have my car for two weeks I pick it up and my engine light is still on. I text Liloa and still no response as to when my car will get fixed and it's been almost 2 and a half weeks now. Not to mention they already sold my car I traded in that they knew had a cracked engine. I have warranty that I would be paying and extra $2,000 sumthin for and yet they haven't honored they're agreement to fix my car. Then I'm told that it's a lot of work to repair and the owner won't pay to fix it so they might have to give me another car what type of dealership does that?? It was in the contract to fix whatever was making my engine light cone on they have some shady a** mechanics not to mention I know my car was being driven cause I dropped it off with almost 3/4 full tank of gas and got my car back on a 1/4 where are you driving too if your waiting for parts to repair my vehicle ?? And I'm sure it doesn't take 2 weeks for parts to come in when there is a Lexus dealership on the island? I still have yet to hear from the dealership as to how they plan on rectifying the situation my car is giving my problems and I haven't even had it for three months mind you it's been in service over half the time since I bought it. I get people don't have good credit and need a vehicle but they shouldn't take advantage of that. The owner should be sued for all misleading crap they put people threw and I'm sure even more so with this world wide pandemic going on it's more excuses not to honor they word. I would suggest to anyone not to ever buy a car from here unless your in desperate need for headaches and being lied to after they take your money maybe after my post I'll b contacted to resolve the issue of fixing my car or giving my back my down payment and and some settlement on the car I traded in that they already sold and my things that was stolen out of my car damn shame one pissed off customer!!

OMG! OK, so let me start off by saying that the salesperson that helped me he was friendly, funny, good customer service, his name is Liloa. So for months my husband and I were "sharing" one vehicle to where he would drop and pick me up from work and he goes work when he can. Eh, i got my taxes and i was like i am getting me my own car. I have heard of this place from friends that had financed cars from them and being that my credit wasn't so great, i just went straight to this dealership. My main point aside of having a vehicle to get to work and then some was to build my credit. Prior to going in i spoke with, (i am not sure if it was Liloa but i think it was) on the phone and he asked how much down payment will i be able to put down, i told him the amount and he was like oh OK that should be good. The day came when my husband drove me there and i already knew what car i wanted because i viewed it online but Liloa told me that it was used as a loaner car or something like that so right away i was like oh OK show me another car. So he showed me 2 cars, forgot the other car but i ended going with the car i have now and been having for just about a year. I did express to Liloa that i wanted to build my credit and he told me that i will be with in house financing so i was good. Then down payment came, bruuuuhhhh he went in the back office came back and even though i told him what i could only put down, he asked for more, anyways i ended putting $500 more than i originally told him, ugh. I just found out about a month or two ago that this car i am financing hasn't been reported to the credit bureaus and so my credit hasn't been building since i got this car up until today. Yep i surely was pissed off. I called bayview and this entire time making my monthly payments, which is higher than i wanted it to be, i had great customer service from their finance manager, yeah shes really nice. She told me that in house financing doesn't get reported to the credit bureaus so i asked her so if i don't make my payments and the car gets repossessed will you guys report that to the credit bureaus and the answer was, YES they will. Now listen, what in the tard world is that? I mean you guys will report a repossession of a vehicle on in house financing but not report that the person/customer is making their payments on time? That is some bs!!! Gosh darn it that is so not fair and when I was told that my credit will be building up, WOW!!! So now i am going to be turning in this car, even though i love this car and it gave me NO problems (knock on wood) I am getting another car that will start to help build my credit. Whether it was a mistake or overlook, we in Hawaii, everybody is struggling here, why you going rip people off like that? It is what it is. I won't, don't ever recommend anyone to get a car from here, unless you OK with in house financing to where it won't do crap for your credit. I guess i should've done research or have someone that knows about car financing come with me. (my sister is probably saying, yep, you should've called me) LOL :) So for customer service i will give Liloa and the in house finance manager, Kekau 5 stars. Also i was on time with most of my payments although i was charged $50 late fee then started paying $150 a month because my rent increased and i did communicate that with the finance manager too but she couldn't change my monthly payments, oh well!!! Lesson LEARNED!!! and i will carry on...Have a blessed day

Received car safety check 3 months after it was due. We had the car for only 3 months and repairs will cost us $4,000+ when we bought it for $7,000. Odometer reading on the sales document was 7,000 miles less than the actual since last reported maintenance was done. When picking up our overdue registration and safety check, both times the office smelt like pakalolo. Overall, a huge nightmare for our family. Buyers beware! Do your homework and ask lots of questions, but I wouldn't deal with them again.

The service was great when I bought the vehicle, and the vehicle I bought was as is, no warranty but I spent over $5000 in repairs on top of still paying for this vehicle that I bought only 5 months ago, so buyer beware cause I bought a piece of crap didn't even last 6 months!

Thank you guys for always going above and beyond. Came into the shop today for mount and balance and the gang at RMS got me in and out. Even though I came in late in the afternoon. Other shops would not consider, thanks again!!!
