Never buy times grill steak, it's not even grilled, it's cooked in an oven, meat is as hard as rubber. Asked clerk about it , he's answer . I don't know I don't cook it. Lose money.

Shopping in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii... Times Supermarket is a local grocery store chain. There are weekly ads that advertise specials - which is a big help! I personally like looking at authentic Japanese products, fresh flowers, and beautiful produce. This location also had items from the Philippines! I also saw Sanrio (Hello Kitty) cosmetics and really cute plushies! The New Years mochi and kadomatsu for good luck were available for everyone! The traditional merchandise is comforting! I like Times, but I prefer patronizing stores with loyalty programs. I'll go here if I need to... I appreciate that it's clean, well-lit, and organized!

I often find expired products on their shelves and moldy fruit. This location seems worse than others. Times Supermarket chain in general has a lower standard of excellence than other supermarkets like Safeway and Foodland. It's a shame. This Times is a perfect example of that from their dim lighting to products that are overdue to be pulled from the sales floor. I can look past having a smaller selection of items in general but moldy and expired foods is too much. It's a shame that management doesn't think Waipahu deserves better than this.

I've been a regular shopper at Time's Waipahu for almost 15 years, since moving to Waipahu when I was little. More recently, the customer service, general professionalism and management in this store has detoriated significantly. There is very little to no staffing, and I've encountered certain employees who harassed me over not wearing a mask. The store itself is very dated and unsanitary.I've overheard one customer complaining to one of the long-time produce department employees about the detoriated quality of customer service in this store. The long-time employee responded by saying that a lot of the other long-time employees either retired or move on with their careers. The parking is awful. A bunch of shoppers tend to leave their shopping carts in the parking lot, increasing the risk of parked cars getting severely damaged!!!The three (3) reverse osmosis water machines outside the store are not enough to meet the demand. I've always had to wait in a long line just to get water. The water machines often shortchange and/or provide less water than what I paid for. For instance, I would get about 4.5 gallons of water when I paid for a 5 gallon fill-up. Constantly going to the customer service to receive a voucher is such a hassle. There is always a long line with people who are sending money through Western Union, and a bunch of the employees are extremely slow.Whenever I walk towards the entrance of the store, I am almost always harassed with "Do you have your mask?" by a short female cart attendant, when I'm clearly putting my mask on already!!!On one weekend, my dad and I went grocery shopping. I walked out of the store with our empty 5 gallon bottle so I could fill it up at the water machine outside. We got our 5 gallon bottle from Walmart, and it looks completely different from the 5 gallon bottles Time's sells. Yet, the cashier shouts "excuse me, excuse me," under the impression that I'm stealing one of their 5 gallon bottles.During the beginning of a month, customers on welfare tend to visit this store to stock up on groceries, which makes the store more crowded in usual. Yet, there are only two cashiers, one regular, and one express, checking everyone out. There is no self-checkout, so I often had to wait as long as 30 minutes in the checkout line when I'm only purchasing a few items. There was one Friday where I'm trying to get into the "Express" checkout. The store manager had his cart in the way, but when he saw that I'm trying to get in line, he moved his cart in the wrong direction on purpose to allow another customer to get in front of me. I hope that manager is empowered by pissing me off when I'm simply doing my regular grocery errand and trying to make my errands efficient.A lot of the merchandise shown in the weekly ads are either not in stock, or are in some confusing location. I often had to spend at least half an hour looking for certain items that my family and I need as a result. The pork and beef have a lot of fat under it, which are unhealthy. As I said in the beginning of my review, I've been shopping at the Waipahu Time's location for almost 15 years. I live one mile from the Wiapahu location. However, I've been driving the extra distance lately to shop at the Time's Kunia location instead, thanks to the disloyalty, lack of customer service, unprofessionalism and mismanagement at the Waipahu location. The Waipahu store has really pushed my buttons. The Kunia location offers better parking, better variety of items, reverse osmosis faucets instead of outdoor water machines that shortchange, efficient checkout process, and way better customer service.

Although this Times is a little older, they do carry many items and sometimes have great sales. They also have different daily specialty items on their lunch menu.Today we went in for lunch. You can find their daily lunch menu on-line. Each Times location has different items that they prepare each day. One of my favorites is their sterling silver steak!I ordered their fried chicken wings which was crispy ans cooked well and I also picked up some poke which was also good. The employees at this location are always friendly and helpful. The gentleman that assisted me today at the poke counter had great customer service and was welcoming. He even cracked some jokes which made me laugh. The employees at the plate lunch counter were also friendly. They also have a lot of Asian goodies and local produce. I've been coming to this Times since I was a little girl and like coming here for my groceries when in the area or for lunch.

This is an old building, but there are enough parking around. The inside looks like it is still the same as in the past, never renovated. The prices seem to be lower than the ones in town.

Been coming here since I was a little girl, now that I'm older I help my grandma with grocery shopping. Lots of new young workers with no customer service! They don't greet, thank, ask if we found everything ok like the old workers. Definitely need to work on that!

Alright, I see nothing here of the security guard who watches women, talks story, and gets over inflated like a bad corrections officer. I am sure he is ruining your business, as a security professional myself he encompasses everything that is wrong with individuals who think that it is "their store, their property" and treat others with disrespect when respect was shown by my mother and I. Susan Moniz is my Mother, you disrespected us by treating us like criminals when we spent an hour in the store and you guys couldn't even process her check. She had money in the bank, always has, and you guys just hand her a paper with a number to call that connected to a modem with screeching. So she stayed at the store, we explained that our house was 3 quarters of a mile away and I was driving there at that moment to get her bank card. I come back and my mom is distraught. All that hour of work looking for ingredients, she is 79 and a eucharistic Minister at St.Joseph Church, you guys put it ALL away with her standing right at the customer service booth. That lazy security guard got us good, gloating and loudly saying he is lucky he caught us? you lost over $300 that day, and we have never gone back since thanks to the manager working that day and him, everyone else have been great. We supported this business ever since it was created, but you know what? Don Quijote gets all our business now. Great job boy, hope you get your jollies from yelling at old people in front of their store. Unprofessional, ugly, l**** punk.keep pushing others big guy, it will catch up to you.aloha

Today, February 5, 2021 I was humiliated by the manager on-floor. I forgot my debit card at home and attempted to pay for the $315.27 worth of groceries with my credit union check. The cashier and packer, Ricky and Vangie were very courteous and efficient. Ricky brought the check to the manager and it appeared that she could not get clearance. She then handed me a TeleCheck slip of paper starting with the sentence, "Dear Customer: We are sorry that we cannot accept your check, open your account or cash your check at this time." She then told me to call my bank, which my son Francis and I tried to do, but was not able to get anyone to answer. The manager then grabbed the wagon of groceries from my son and pushed it to the back of the store. (I thought for safe keeping and away from store traffic.) I then asked my son to go home to get my debit card in my jacket, but decided I should go get it myself in order to pay for the groceries, only to be stopped by two security people. I then re-entered the store only to be stared at as someone who was trying to steal from the store. Twice, in the past, I have forgotten my wallet and have asked the store to hold the items on the side so that I could go home close by to get my money. They trusted me and I was able to pay for my groceries. Not this time, my son returned with my debit card and when I went up to the cashier to pay, the security person and manager looked at me like I had created a criminal act and with disgust the security person said, "We put all the things back because we did not want cold things to spoil." The wait time for my son to get back with my debit card was 18 minutes -- I don't think spoilage could have occurred in that short time. My response was "I won't be shopping here anymore." After spending nearly an hour to find things in the store, I was almost in tears and was not about to do it again. My son and I left and went to shop elsewhere and bought $342.12 worth of groceries. And when I got home, I called my credit union to ask if anyone called to verify my check and was told that no one had called. I then called 1-800-366-2425 the TeleCheck phone number printed on the slip -- no answer -- only a high-pitched squelch. And that is what I am hoping Times will check before someone else experiences the kind of humiliation I suffered. Please get a valid TeleCheck phone number. The security person and manager had a smug look that they had thwarted a big loss and I surmise they put in a report to justify this. I have been good customer for many years at this Times -- but not anymore.

I was very disappointed in the service I got at this location. I usually go to Kunia because I'm very pleased with all the good energy. But this location, really tested my patience and took me out of consciousness for a moment. One of the cashiers were very rude, I asked to use the restroom, but they didn't allow it, although they let me use it before at a prior visit. The cashier who was "helping" me was very rude. I don't think I will ever be coming back here

I frequent this store mainly because it's close to home. The produce tends to be old (bordering on spoiled) and the bakery is a joke (especially now that Saint Germaine's is gone). The only saving grace is the Poké Station -- brand new and a wide variety. A lot of the older workers are top notch -- but the young kids they hire tend to be both rude and lazy.

That lady with the short hair wearing bright red lipstick that works at service center is very rude. I've never experienced such service in any western union branch i've been to, she's the worst. I'm never coming back.
