This gym has been amazing. UFC has 4 locations and they all have great equipment. Everything you can think you need and Multiple versions to suit your taste of equipment. I especially love the Waikele location. Its convenient with great coaches and has an amazing staff. For our time here it was the best choice and I can't say enough good things about the UFC gyms and Waikele specifically.

Staff and trainers that I've encountered thus far have been cool and down to earth, unlike some other big chain gyms (haha!). It made it less intimidating and more welcoming for this 1st timer. I have a personal trainer to help guide me through the process and journey of getting and staying fit for life. She's attentive to what I need and I get personified workouts and menus to maximize the work I'm doing in and out the gym. A variety of classes to take part in throughout the day, a wide variety of equipment to use, conveniently located. I'd recommend checking out one of the UFC's on island (Oahu) and start your transformation!! ?

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this deserves to be said. Good amount of equipment and I love the Arm Bar where you can get protein shakes. I was a former member that cancelled my membership back in 2017. The person who helped me cancel it kept asking "Are you sure?" and kept trying to convince me to stay. Lady, I was firm in my decision, thanks. I can workout at home. I re-activated my membership today. It's like they couldn't wait to get me off the phone and take my money. All the while, I'm the one being courteous and professional. I don't have to be that way. I'm the customer, not the employee. The employee was rushing & interrupting me, and straight up hung up on me. The customer service is rude and overall terrible. They don't treat you like a valued customer, but instead, as a nuisance and inconvenience. This is a place of business, and I would expect employees to conduct themselves in a courteous, professional manner. You're welcome for being a customer and giving you business. Ridiculous.

Oh boy.. I really hate to write this because I really want to like this gym but my experience with getting signed up was absolutely terrible. The customer service could've been much better. I went to try the gym for the first time a couple years back and the team member was very pushy to get me to sign up which left a bad taste to start. Fast forward a couple years later and I wanted to get a membership here for the boxing experience. Went to sign up and paid the full price for the standard fitness membership, I forget to ask if I get a student discount so I inquired about the student discount and the team member told me they could talk to someone about getting a refund for my first membership. They said I'd still pay full price for the monthly payments which is not correct because the student membership is $34 not $60. Days and weeks go by, tried contacting them to no avail. Had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and sign up for the student membership which is like signing up for another membership so I had to pay first and last month again! I was also offered a starter session which was free, and I thought was just a free introduction to the club until the trainer started discussing different programs that they could offer me which would be like 700-1000 dollars a month! I politely turned it down and he immediately became rude and tried to turn my words against and pressuring me to sign up for a training program which I didn't even want! I just wanted to join the club to workout and hit the heavy bag. Very disappointed with the customer service.. That being said, there are very friendly team members there, Cody and Micah were very friendly with me. The gym is big and has a nice selection of free weights and machines, and punching bags to practice.

I have to put one star, BUT THIS PLACE DESERVES ZERO! My experience with UFC Waikele has topped my list of all-time worst customer service experiences ever! I had emailed and called management multiple times to cancel my membership since I was leaving the island, and they never did! I was being charged month after month, even when I was supposed to be "canceled." Then, management calls me MULTIPLE times to change my payment information so they could charge me some more! I finally stepped into the establishment demanding to know why my membership hadn't been canceled from months ago and turn out that the manager, I think Hilo was her name, totally disregarded the outreach emails and calls that I made to cancel. She finally was speechless when she found my email stating to cancel. She then proceeded to say that it wasn't up to her to give me my money back, but up to higher management. I say, give me my money since you blatantly disregarded my request to cancel and still had the nerve to charge my account. Not to mention, she had the BIGGEST attitude towards me since she knew she was wrong. Just when I thought my dilemma was settled, I see ANOTHER TWO CHARGES on my account, right after I rectified the cancellation! I WALK IN AGAIN, and another employee tells me "I'll see what I can do." Um, I expect my money back after this. That's what you can do. If it were up to me, they would be having a court date right now. I can't be the only one this happened to, and this whole situation is a straight-up robbery! I'm just being patient to see if this employee can actually help me since the manager Hilo just wants to charge people to multiple accounts and ignore customers. I normally don't drop names in Yelp reviews, but this whole situation is completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional for such an establishment. I don't even mean to be a "Karen" either, but if you were being charged a collective total of $400 and counting for something that should've been canceled months ago, you would be mad too. I'm not sure how the other UFC gyms are, but this one, in particular, is HORRIBLE, DESPICABLE, DISGUSTING, and not worth your time or money.

I have worked for and been a member of many gyms, and this gym by far has the worst staff and billing policies I've ever encountered. When I signed up, they took the last months dues. Then...when I canceled because of staff issues, they took the last month, again. Then apparently because I didnt go within my billing date theres another months worth. When I called to ask about all the charges I was given a half assed excuse that didn't really make sense. They don't care about you as a customer, only your money.

They really charge members a lot of money for an over crowded gym with a lot of failing equipment. Worse yet are some of their personal trainers that come in with their clicks and hog equipment. I even tried coming during an off hour to get on a squat rack- all were taken even though one trainer wasn't even using the rack appropriately. It's been 2 months since I was able to secure a squat rack- and I at least stop in 4-5 times a week. Im switching gyms the moment this pandemic is over!

Social distancing is enforced here at this gym. They have the machines spaced out and provide hand sanitizer and cleaning disinfectants to sanitize the machines.

Always has parking since its at Waikele shopping center. Lots of space and weights. Sometimes used to get busy but not bad these days. Highly recommend trying this place out if you are on the west side and need a gym.
