Established in 2005. The Autoplex Car Wash opened in the Summer of 2005. It was planned as an extension of the service provided to the customers of the Tony Group Autoplex and its dealerships. The original idea was to be able to provide a free car wash to every service customer whenever their car was in for service. Several options were considered in the method that would be used for doing this including an automated, conveyor carwash tunnel. This option was the best method to quickly and efficiently wash the large amount of cars and trucks that were being serviced daily at the Autoplex. Once the decision was made to invest in a conveyorized carwash tunnel the idea was expanded to also offering the facility to the general public.
