Never coming here again. Two times & struck out. First time I came here on a Friday, just chanced it and was told the food place closed at 6pm. Came back here for steak plates today, workers saw us standing there looking lost.. had to yell into the kitchen area to be told they closed at 5:30. Unreal! Waste gas.

Times as a whole was a great place to shop before its acquisition by Don Quijote (spoiler: it is owned by one of the yakuzas in Japan). Since then, price has skyrocketed, grocery selection is limited, the quality of the produce is a joke, their pharmacy staff act like police interrogators, their credit card machines are wonky at best, and there are rubbish all over their property. The store director claims “this is the first time anyone has complained about it.” I doubt that, and I know I’m far from the only person complaining about Times. The problem is most of the people that are complaining are either technologically impaired to submit their complaints online, are elderlies who can’t get around, much less go to the grocery store to complain, or English isn’t their primary language. Therefore, I have to speak on their behalf most of the time.I’ll be sticking to primarily Costco for all my grocery shopping. Sure, Costco may not have as much a variety of food options as Times, but at least Costco is more affordable and until Times address the issues I have raised, I won’t be shopping there.

On Oahu you have the old busted Times and the new fancy ones. This one is on the old side but it is a good clean store and the employees are good.

I went there to meet my granddaughter. But the aroma in the air was so tantalizing. I had to follow my nose...all the way to the deli. Everything looked so ONO! Noticed the plates were well worth the price, plus a free drink! I had the fried chicken plate. 3 choice of side, 3 BIG chicken thighs, and a can of Pepsi 9.99 plus tax. FRIED PERFECTLY, NOT OILY. Better than Zippys chicken! Drove all the way down from waianae to get the steak and shrimp plate! Well worth it!

The servers at the food area were so not friendly. I was so excited to show the food at Times to my sisters visiting from the mainland but the servers were so abrupt in responding and not helpful at all. Like we were bothering them. ☹ I was so embarrassed.
