I bought a few pairs of the Mizuno Wave Prophecy and still brand new in the box. The glue was faulty, but the Aiea Runner's Hi wouldn't take them back. Very expensive shoe but poor quality.

I had a fantastic experience at Runners Hi. Upon entering, I received a warm greeting, and the attentive staff promptly assisted me. The gentleman upfront skillfully measured my foot, identified my correct size, and presented a variety of high-quality, reasonably priced shoe options. Their impressive selection, including extra-wide options for runners, addressed my specific needs. I am thoroughly satisfied with the exceptional service, product quality, and affordability. Without a doubt, I'll be returning for future purchases.

I didn’t get her name, but the woman working here knows what she’s talking about. She took all of my concerns and found me tye right running shoe. I love to see people/store do what’s right by the customers. I needed to return my First shoe due to it being slightly too heavy and she got me into the right shoe - no pain, comfortable and ready!

I visited the store in Waipio and Elle had helped me and was very knowledgeable and gave me suggestions in regards on my new pair of shoes. I would recommend people to go there.

Ellie was a fantastic saleswoman! I went in to replace an old pair of Asics shoes. After trying on 4 different recommended shoes bought a pair of Hoka’s. What I didn’t mention was the skill she was able to juggle 3 other people at the same time. Not only was she checking her store stock, but was also calling her other store to see if it was in stock there. That was some great customer service!

This is the best place to come for running shoes. I've been coming to them for years...ever since they were sharing half the store with Go Bananas in Aiea. Ray has always been extremely helpful and always taken the extra step (haha) and gone the extra mile (hehe) to help me and ensure that I purchase a pair of shoes that are the right fit for me. It wasn't until came here that I realized how valuable a good pair of shoes are, and that it's worth it to pay a little extra for quality service and a good product. Along with the shoes I bought today, I also found that they had some great insoles that were better than the ones I currently use. The staff still continues the excellent service. My only complaint is that they don't have a store on Maui.

My wife and I stopped by here to find my wife some new shoes for the treadmill. The lady that helped us gave us the best customer service we have ever seen. She was very polite and incredibly knowledgeable. We told her exactly what issue my wife was having with her current shoe and she showed us 3 pairs of shoes that were exactly what we needed. She helped us narrow down the choice by asking questions about the fit and feel that we wouldn't have even considered. After using the shoes for an hour on the treadmill, my wife was blown away with the change. Would HIGHLY rexcomwnd this shoe shop for anyone looking for a new pair of running shoes.

The dude working there was knowledgeable and helped me out quit a bit. Pretty pricey but so is every running store you go to. Inventory was limited but still had a great experience and will be returning in the near future for another pair

This is my favorite running store by far! Ray and his staff, especially Jeff, are really great at helping runners of all levels find the shoes and accessories they need. And I know Ray has been a big supporter of high school track and cross country runners. Runners HI is the best!!

Update in September: after my positive experience below, I returned with an identical defect on my replacement shoes and met a different employee. He accused me of "doing something extreme" during my running 20-30 miles in the shoes and refused to help. Sadly I can't recommend shopping at this local business anymore, you will get better consistent service with a chain store or online.First experience in August 2022: Great service and knowledge of local trails and events. Replaced defective shoes easy and quick.
