Awesome, quirky store. The owner was very friendly and patient. He explained in detail about some of the drinks and elixirs and it affects the body! Will be coming back :)

SO happy to have this store in my area for non-alcoholic drink options. Would 10000/10 recommend stopping by to check out their selection!

Stephen Nii is at the top of his game! He runs a beautiful store and is very stocked with all kinds of fabulous alternatives for alcohol, tobacco, and dangerous drugs. You will find that he is very well educated, and is very knowledgeable about the things that he sells and doesn't mind speaking to anyone about it who wants to learn and know better, this business is a very valuable gem in Waipahu!

I received a FIVE STAR experience from Nii Superette from the one and only Stephen Nii. The transformation he is beginning to make in this place is off to a fantastic start. Creating a welcoming and safe space for all. I am beyond grateful by the amount of time and information he took to educate me on their many different products of their Healthy Non-Alcholic beverages that seem to be hitting todays, homes, parties, and events like wild fire. There are many alternatives to choose from, and I promise, you will not be disappointed. Stephen will talk with you and inform you to your specific wants and needs, as he did me, and again, he won't disappoint. The hospitality was amazing and staff open and available if I needed help or had questions. All in all 5 out of 5 for me. Looking forward to be a forever customer

Filipino lady with long black hair overcharged me twice on green tripe priced at $10.99 but scanned something else on her board which made the price $15.49, instead of scanning the item. It was a shady move so we're not coming back here. Looked like the place needed the money but the fact that she took the time to scan something else to up the price was not according to principle. To avoid small inconveniences and small scams don't bother coming here.

My absolute favorite store on the island. If you're in the need for healthy snacks, your dose of other Hawaiian snacks and goodies, chicken feed and an abundant selection of adaptogen drinks and herbal teas and coffees. This lovely family-owned shop has it ALL.And if you get the pleasure of meeting Nii Superette's owner, Stephen - he is the most knowledgeable, passionate and kind soul. Stephen puts his heart and soul into the selection of products at his shop, ask him anything about healthy snacks, adaptogen drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.Visit and support a long-time family owned business, you won't be disappointed. Mahalo for all of your help, guidance and for educating me about so many different products!

Best little hole in the wall feed store on my side of the island. Wish the had hay for chickens, but their feed, corn, and oyster powder is just what I need. Lots of other items like food, booze, and drinks if that's what you want.

Handy place to pick up chicken feed. The only problem is that the chick starter is not quality controlled. Sometimes, instead of whole bits, the starter feed bag has so much powder in it. In fact, we tried another brand of layer feed. Bought the big bag and the crumble wasn't even whole bits and lots of powder. Really felt disappointed, like we wasted our money on this one too.Added another star to my overall rating. Owner responded about the quality control. I can understand his point of view. He also was kind enough to offer suggestions to make the most of powdery batch of chick starter and layer crumble. Thank you! Will try that, as we do like shopping at Nii's for our flock.

Mental note: never do business at Nii superette again. If I could leave negative stars, this would be the time. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am not one to complain to a business or their employees. I never even ask restaurant workers to correct food if it comes out not how I ordered. I had just gone in to by some chicken food at Nii and unfortunately did not have my debit card or cash on me. I asked the kind girl working the register before ringing up the food if they take Apple Pay. She said yes, but it only worked on the other register. Not an issue at all. So I grabbed the small bag of food and walked over to the other register. She rings everything up, total $7.06. I pay with my Apple Pay which is connected through my bank, and it says approved and I see the pending charge notification pop up on my phone. The receipt does not print and the girl working said there was an error that said it was unable to connect to the printer. I said no worries, I don't need a receipt but she needed it for their system. Again, not an issue. So she says she needed to ask the manager. This is where things go south. The manager/owner Steven (or Stephen I'm not certain of the spelling) comes over and looks at the screen for a little bit, and says "that's why, we don't take Apple Pay." Mind you, I am being very VERY nice throughout this ordeal until the end. I said that that was odd, as the payment had gone through on my phone and was showing as a charge in my bank account. He again said "well we don't take Apple Pay." I then said "if you don't take Apple Pay I'm not sure how it went through?" this is when he started getting rude and he says "I am not going to say this again, we don't take Apple Pay" I just looked at him and said "okay how can I get the charge reversed then?" "WE DONT TAKE APPLE PAY" I showed him the charge in my bank that says "Nii Superette" and he says "well that's cool but we don't take it so" and he shrugs. I asked how I can get the $7 back and he says I'll need to contact my bank. I asked if he would like me to put the food back for him since I would not be able to purchase it, even though the payment had gone through. He stared and said "please" My response? "Okay a******** I put the food back, walked out to my car, and called to file a dispute with my bank to try and get the $7 back. I am not mad about the amount. It's only $7. My issue is that this could have been handled so much more appropriately than how it was. But according to other people I have spoken with regarding this individual, any time there is something involving money, he feels as if he is being scammed. I'm not sure how I would be scamming as I showed the pending charge through my bank. It's not like I was trying to steal from the store, I had asked how to get the money back and to put the item back on the shelf since I couldn't purchase the item (even though the charge went through.) I had already had a terrible day, and this was just the icing on the cake. Apologies for the long post, I just hope no one else encounters this problem there. Edit: updated picture with the charge still there, and please don't judge the amount, times are very tough. I'm just showing that I still never got it refunded or reversed.

It's been forever since the last time I came here. I remember coming into this store when I was in elementary school and buying the toys and candy and ICEE. I was surprised they have some Asian snacks like Yoppoki. It's a little pricy, but it's good to know that they're there just down the street from where I live. I even asked the owner if I could take a photo at the front of the store just for a Halloween photo and he was so chill about it. Another thing, I did not know they sell is bird food or chicken feed which was interesting. Especially with all the random chickens roaming the neighborhood. They even have Samurai ice cream sold here. So definitely will need to come back and purchase.

My dad always purchased feed from this store. My dad purchased the wrong feed (because he didn't have his glasses) and went back to exchange it for the correct feed. My dad did not open the bag and he had his receipt which had no refund policy on it. The cashier and clerk were really nice and was going to exchange it. An Asian guy stopped them and said my dad was unable to exchange it. When my dad asked why, he yelled and mistreated him. My dad is old and was treated so poorly by this man. My dad was so upset about what he was experiencing and left the feed and the receipt there. Please purchase your feed somewhere else, they don't deserve business from good people. Steve: Please don't comment back and blatantly lie straight up. Your staff told my dad it was okay to do the exchange because the bag was not opened and he only bought it less than 24 hours. Nowhere in your store has a return policy nor does it have it on the receipt. My dad left the feed there so you are reselling it. My dad is a farm owner and will be sure no one buys from your store. You mistreated my father and acted in a very unprofessional manner. Steve: Please stop lying. Bottom line is you mistreated my father, was extremely hostile and very unprofessional and your employees were really nice and pleasant (see my initial comment). Why are you lying and saying my father argued with you or your employees? My father had to leave the feed he purchased with his receipt in the store because you were acting very hostile. Seems like you are unstable. Save your lies for BBB. Lastly, what policies are you referring to? You don't have a refund policy on the receipt or anywhere in the store. Again, my father bought the feed yesterday, went to your store this morning to exchange it, your two employees said it was fine until you barged out of nowhere causing a scene and turned a good morning into an unpleasant day. Save your lies and comments for the Better Business Bureau. I hope you will not abuse and mistreat elders in the future.

Came here and sadly the ice cream machine was broken! I did look at their feed and got some good chicken feed so my daughter could feed some of the chickens in the neighborhood. Met the owner who asked if I had any questions and he was super nice and helpful! Seems like a fantastic neighborhood spot, will stop again to see if the ice cream machine is fixed
