Beware of the cashier they overcharge too much. Make sure to ask for receipt when purchasing something and check on u guys change. They’ve done this multiple times already.

I swear the ahi poke here used to be fresh. They used to also add the sauce after they weigh it. Now it's clearly frozen and last couple times they add the sauce before weighing. It's $12 a pound which is still very cheap. Besides poke they have good Filipino baked goods and other Filipino centric foods/treats. I don't eat frozen poke so I pan fry it. It's delicious that way.

5 stars for customer service alone! Location doesn't appear the safest of sorts. Often times there are regular homeless people outside but I've never seen them bother anyone. The ladies that work here are very friendly, the man behind the fish counter is super friendly as well. They sell poke & prepared Filipino food besides everyday grocery items. Don't judge a book by its cover!

A Filipino market selling raw beef and goat. Brings back how my parents use to prep kalding ( goat with lemon and onions and ginger ), Baka (raw cow meat with onions and bile).Place looks clean. Also has a take out area of Filipino dishes. Market is also filled with lots of Filipino items and desserts.

Jimmy Meat World I was getting my haircut one day and I randomly asked the lady doing my hair where the best Crunchiest Lechon in the World was. To my surprise she quickly responded with "Jimmys", a place I've never even heard of. Apparently this place has changed names but been around for decades. When I approached the place, I remembered I've past this place many times before but did not know they had a deli, poke stand, and lechon! But sometimes with great finds comes great sketch. SKETCHY AF RATING: 8 (Day) 9 (Night) The exterior of this place and especially at night look prime for suspicious activity. The interior is tight and dated and meet the qualifications for dark gem of the century. There is a homeless encampment across the street and random meth monsters spawn at night in the vicinity. Activate and equip your self defense mode, skills, and proceed with caution! GRABBED, BOUGHT, RAN: Just under 1lb Lechon $8.58 SNAP CRACKLE CRUNCHOMETER: (9/10) The intel from the informant was spot on. This slab of Lechon is the CRUNCHIEST one in this entire list! JUICYNESS: (9/10) At first glance the crusty exterior of this fried pork slab looks dry and hard but looks are deceiving. When I placed this bad pig on the chopping board and started to slice, the juices started to slowly ooze out. I couldn't believe how wet the board was getting! AROMATICS: (6/10) Nothing besides the normal oil and I was not about to run back in and look for the salsa. VALUE: (9/10) At $9.99lb this here is the best bang for the buck lechon slab that turned out not only the CRUNCHIEST but the most JUICIEST on its own! OVERALL RATING AND RANK: (8/10) If you can get pass the sketch barrier, take a risky adventure and brave this dark gem out! The best stand alone value Lechon on the list!

I was shopping here several times. You can find authentic Philippino food, it tastes good, however beware the way they weigh it! I noticed that they Always put a cover on a plastic container when they weigh food which is quite pricy. I dont mind to pay good price for good food but it certainly adds up to the price and it does not feel a quite honest. You never see supermarkets do it, they always put cover after they weigh food. One time I noticed a lady who weighted shrimp poke touched up a scale while she weighted even with a cover up. Beware!
