The worse grocery/market I went to. If i could give this a zero rating I would. Service are not so great given if you ask something they give you a sassy look and tell you a different price of the items. Other than that price here especially the vegetables are so fre*king expensive but the quality are so low. I bought a veggies and they are already rotten. They should have taken this out of the shelves. What a waste of time m. Never ever going to buy here ever again

My friend told me about $5 pompano and I was craving sinigang! Same parking lot as Arby’s, Jack in the Box and Elena’s - limited parking.Walk in and there’s a tata on the left replacing watch batteries, then vegetables.Got some Filipino snacks, sauces etc. on the right.Far left is where all the fish are! Got my pompano! They’ll also clean the fish at no additional cost!

We were in Waipahu and dropped by Elena's for some Flip food. Unfortunately, Elena's was take out only, so we had some time to kill. DFM was across the lot, so we decided to stop by and see if they had any poke available. We were glad they did. Not only did they have some ono, spicy a'u (marlin) poke, they have so much Flip food stuff, I thought I was in Manila! In addition to poke, they have all kinds of fresh fish, and items you couldn't even find in a Seafood City. That's what I luv about neighborhood ethnic markets like DFM. They offer their clientele a taste of home, w/o all the stuffiness of the bigger chains. The staff was super nice emblematic of the Filipino welcomeness and Aloha fr the islands. The next time I am in Waipahu, I am def stopping by DFM for more good poke, and some other Flip food stuffs to snack on.

In my search for 1 pound lobster tails, these guys were the only ones with the goods. They were properly frozen and stored, sold perfect. It is hard to believe that Hawaii cannot figure out how to supply Hawaii with Hawaii lobster but at least Da Fish Market's owners have held on to the wisdom of Chinatown to make the right connections. Bravo! Keep on doing what you do..

One of my moms places to go when looking for fish to fry or to make sabao (soup) with..located in the same strip mall as jack in the box and arby's in waipahu..fish is fresh they also sell vegetables and other goodies from the Philippines..also seen they serve plate lunches but never did try it out..it gets busy and I seen they take card too..lots of fresh seafood and vegetable variety.

😇😇😇 HolySh*t ... 'Da Fish Market' by Arby's in Waipahu is fast becoming my to-go-market where favorite island fishes of all kinds are found. That familiar island market fishy stench hits you in the nostrils as soon as the entrance door opens. But what a heartfilling breath that is! Say, it's a treat everytime I find myself at Da Fish Market*** Oh 'Yea!!!💕💞

Hole in the wall for Filipino foods and vegetables. They will clean and scale the fish for you and cut them up as well. Parking is a challenge but at least it's close by my gp's house. Quick service and reasonable prices. If you haven't been to an Asian Fish market, it might be a bit of a culture shock for you.

Terrible smell and blaring "music" make this place unbelievable. The Department of Health would give this place a F as soon as they smelled it.
