Who doesn't love COSTCO! This Costco is the closest one to our house. The only thing is I wish it had the sushi bar like the one in Kapolei. Other than that this one is always pretty busy and the gas lines get crazy, but move pretty fast!

I love going to Costco! They always have great deals and you are able to buy in bulk when you need to. Last night, I needed a couple things and decided that I wanted to have a Costco dinner. Where else can you get a full meal for 3 dollars these days? I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be back!

Feb. 10, 2023My visit today is just for the food court. I came to pick up lunch for my coworkers and was picking up 2 large pizzas, chicken bakes and smoothies. The customer service was fine but I'm disappointed with the changes made to their menu. I haven't been to Costco in a while because the parking is really bad, although they have a huge parking lot. The amount of customers that visit Costco in Hawaii at any given time is crazy! This makes it difficult to even find parking. Anyways, I'm giving the foodcourt 3 stars because they removed some of my favorite items on the menu. If you're like me and enjoyed their combo pizza, chicken salads and acai bowl, I'm sorry to say this but those items have all been discontinued. I got the pepperoni pizzas and those taksted good and was made well. The chicken bake was delicious as always and the smoothies were fine. Other than that, Costco is great because of their prices and the fact that you can buy everything in bulk but you're going to fight through the traffic, and long lines to get what you need. Your 10 minute visit can easily turn into an hour.

My husband and I like to visit costcos in difference cities. We enjoyed this experience as we were able to try the mango smoothie in the food court (pro tip: order a frozen yogurt and then mix the two- they will give you extra cups-- worth it)!We were also able to buy boxes of chocolate and mac nuts to take back home with us. you can't beat the value at costco!

Love to shop here, my go to veggies, Romaine, baby portobello mushrooms, garlic. Pizza us the best deal, I order 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni, $9.95. Dont forget to get the hugwe hotdog with a drink for $1.50. The best thing I like about Costco is their return policy!

Since we were out in the area, we decided to head out to this Costco to get gas. Since we always make a stop at Costco during our visits, we decided to do our shopping for the local specialty items such as macadamia nuts, gift packs, Hawaiian coffee, lau lau and Hawaiian honey.The lines at the gas were about 5 cars deep, similar to the Bay Area during the day. After gassing up, I was able to get a space as a person was happening to leave as the parking lot was crowded. Walking through the aisles, we saw a lot of local products including Ko-hana Rum. We got our macadamia nuts and chocolates to bring back for gifts as the prices here is so much less than even the sales prices at Long's and Don Quixote.It was another successful trip to Costco. A plus for this store is that it's located right off the H2 freeway making it easy to get back on the road.

This is the second Costco I have been to on the island. Today I stopped by for gas and hoped for some local beer. I will come back tomorrow, but I'm not sure which Costco. :) Quality/Quantity - Consistent, thank you for having local beers at this location, too bad I am cutting back on IPA's.I am still surprised on how/why your gas prices are cheaper than CA... Atmosphere - Consistent. Service - Consistent. Price - I don't look. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1988. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. Now you are the 5th largest retailer in the world and #10 on the Fortune 500. 804 warehouses worldwide, with 558 in the US.1980 IPO.1993 Price Club and Costco merger.1997 Rebrand all locations to Costco.2020 105.5 million members.

What a huge store. I think it's the biggest Costco I have ever been in. They have a large selection of everything. The store is extremely crowded, but they are well organize and fully staff to keep you moving, As you walk to the back of they store, they have sample stations at each isle. When I checked out, they placed my chickens in a easy to carry box without me asking. I only came here for the chicken, due to the fact I was short of time on my way back to Kailua.

Why does Costco only sell 1 type of cat food?? The dogs have a whole aisle of different types of food, treats and other stuff. Also their employees are never around to help out the customers. I asked if I could get the kitty litter that was on the second shelf but that employee ignored me. Needless to say I'll be giving Sam's Club my business from now on.

Value of Time and Money: 26 miles R/T from my office (DTHNL) to Costco/Waipio location. 13 miles per gallon= 2 gallons @ $5.29 per gallon or $ 10.60 1.5 hours from my office, park, shop and return versus their sister ship on Alakawa 8 miles R/T from my office (DTHNL) to Coscto Alakawa location 13 miles per gallon= .60 gallons @ $5.29 per gallon or $ 4.69 45 minutes from my office, to the location, cruise for a parking stall and LEAVE The inventory and product line are similar to each other. Granted, the shelves are not stocked in unison so one location may be out or you would have to ask... I found the Waipio store tends to be stocked on a regular basis. Self Check Out ready and waiting at the Waipio store. Staffing friendly. Bottom line analysis= Waipio gets it by time and cost in getting to and from; Waipio Costco = Best Value for your time and money

The only Costco on Oahu that I haven't been to...until today. So, the Waikele location is a bit out of the way for me. Usually, patronize the Iwilei or Kapolei stores. I got a Vanilla soft serve while waiting for the opening time of 1000...senior citizens look like they had been hanging around the entrance and the parking lot for 30 to 60 minutes. I get it...killing time...get a pizza or tube steak (hot dog) as the customer after me called it. Outdoor food court is a plus. Layout is a bit different but it is familiar in the corporate, cookie-cutter way of big box businesses. Also, the selection of dairy, produce, frozen foods is probably even smaller than Hawaii Kai's but was it b-u-s-y, busy.. Parking is always a hassle at any Costco...so it was expected when the lot was pretty full after 1030. It has a gasoline station but I can't say that I would come to their Waikele location very often. But it is Costco...so can go!

I had come by with my can do attitude and positive self to the concession stand on this Thursday night. I walked up to the window and was instantly given attitude Kyla. Kyla was not only passive aggressive but also very rude. When Kyla was asked a question, she wouldn't say a word and just point to a sign and sigh. What is ok about that towards customer. Kyla makes me not want to come here again.

Costco food court outside, friendly staff and convenient poke! The poke is made fresh every day. We got the spicy ahi poke and we enjoyed it with shrimp chips, it needs a little soy sauce but overall worth the cheaper poke. The sushi nigiri was also fresh when we tried it and even went back the next day!

After all, everywhere you go in Cosco, there are people everywhere It's good to be able to buy good products in bulk. It is true that the price per unit is high, but the appeal of Cosco is that you can save a lot of money because the items are large and will last for a long time. I recommend the $120 annual fee, because the more you shop at Cosco, the more check amount they send you once a year, and the more you save. Regular membership does not offer this benefit. There are also tastings in the store, which is helpful to get a taste of the products before buying the ones you are interested in. They also focus on healthy foods, which I appreciate very much as a health-conscious person.
