Girl on the phone was rude. I guess she think was funny giving the parts guy number as 808-499-99 never mind. As a business that’s uncalled for!

Tow truck driver was amazing and helped out without asking very polite. But the problem is I called and talked to the dispatcher about my car she quoted saying “we can offer 200$ for your 2013 veloster I thought oh that’s awesome politely thanked her.” Tow truck showed up got the car and I asked how the payment worked and he said did they say you are getting paid I enplained that I was told 200$ so he called to confirm and the dispatcher said no we didn’t talk about money at all and there was nothing I could do bc I needed the car moved. So please if they offer you money 100% confirm they offered money or they will cheap you on the car. My car was 100% paid off and in good order so they got a free car.

They will waste your time. They have no idea how to keep appointments.

Needed to get rid of my vehicle that was no longer operable and was in a time crunch so it had to go soon. I knew I wouldn't get much out of it but I no longer have the convenience of relocating and/or repairing. I read the information of the business here on Yelp and on their website and understood. Made the call and Kim assisted me, answered the questions, received quote and was able to schedule before my deadline date. On the day of the tow driver called before the scheduled time to confirm, the tow truck driver arrived and did procedural checks, went over to cover bases including title transfer. Received payment and turned in the perforated portion of title (notice of transfer) to DMV on the same day. Nothing complicated, very simple and straight forward. My experience has been great with them!

I would've gave them 5 stars, but the coordination between the drivers and dispatchers was a bit off. I called to schedule a tow for one of my cars that no longer works (battery is dead), the lady that answered initially was very quick to call me back for a quote. She said $240 and scheduled me for the next day. Long story short, the driver ended up going home early and I had to reschedule the tow for the next day. When it was the next day, the lady called again saying she had to reschedule everyone till next week. I wasn't in a rush. Then, the lady calls again saying she found an available driver that would come right away. But the driver didn't come when she said he would? So I called back, and she said there was a communication error and called the driver. Boom, she calls back and says he will be on his way. The driver ended up coming around 15 minutes after and he was awesome. Very quick and professional. I also appreciated the receptionist lady for keeping constant communication with me and was very apologetic when the problems arose. They are good people!

I called a few times and got no answer, but four times the charm I guess. They gave me an estimate then scheduled a tow couple days later. Driver came promptly and paid the agreed upon amount. All and all was a good and easy experience.

Worst experience ever and very poor service. Do not go with these guys. The tow truck guy is very unprofessional. Business is questionable.

Honestly had a fine experience, just don’t get on the phone with Pat cause he’ll yell at you and threaten to take you to court to entertaining the idea of another offer (I got another offer while waiting on the tow truck for double what they were gonna give me.) In the end I can’t complain cause they matched the other offer but I’ve never been yelled at like that before from someone who was trying to get my business in my life. Give your business to nicer people.

Ok 1st off do not always believe the reviews, especially the bad ones. Some people just love to leave a bad review because they can. After so many failed attempts to other companies, I decided to make the call. I found this company very professional and honest. The receptionist Kimberly was especially helpful. They walked me thru each step and offered actual cash where others didn't. The entire process was very quick! So glad we made the call!

I don't know if the Yelpers who have given bad reviews dealt with one of the many other similarly-named 'cash for cars' companies. "Gee" in the office and Trevor the tow truck driver were a total class act--responsive, helpful and professional. After getting the run-around from the City and another 'cash for cars' tow service, I was ready to pay to get rid of the broken down/no plates car cluttering my mother's driveway. Not only did we get free same-day towing and a really nice guy to deal with, but a crisp $100 bill to top it all off!

Awesome experience with these guys! Just got rid of my two cars today and it was hassle free. From the girl who set up the appointment to the two tow truck drivers Todd and Trevor who took my cars five star experience all the way! Mahalo plenty! You guys are awesome!

Is this place a joke? Or a scam? Perfectly good car worth ~3000 and they offered us less than 300 for it. I'm not sure why I didn't expect this, probably should have. Either way, don't call these people.

Con artists. Absolutely go somewhere else (I'm not even kidding). The people that work here are the worst. I am 39 years old and can't even recall ever getting swindled as much as they tried to swindle me. We are leaving the island soon and just began to have some car problems. The car works just fine, but we would need a new engine if we were to continue to drive. As we do not have much time left, we decided to scrap it or sell it to a lot for parts. My wife call Cash 4 Cars and informed them that we had a car and described the issue saying that it would need a new engine. The shop called back with a quote of $60 to take the vehicle off our hands. We missed the window to have it towed, but decided to risk the drive to the shop before the car completely crapped out. When we arrived at the shop, the clerk and manager played stupid and suggested that we were at the wrong shop; we had called the number associated with the Google, but they claimed the number was to the dispatch office. Either way, the person who answered the phone quoted us at $60 if we brought the vehicle in. When we arrived, the manager claimed she could not give us he $60 and that if we wanted to, we would have to take the car to the Kapolei shop. Again, we are not supposed to be driving this anyways. Also, They'd offered to tow the car and give the $60 originally from the initial call, but now, for some reason, that offer was no longer available. We have had the car for 3 years and maintained a close relationship with a mechanic who informed us of any mechanical issues. That said, the present issue was newer/developing over time, and it was the only issue on the car. The manager at this Cash 4 Cars sent out a mechanic to look over the vehicle (even though a quote had already been generated). The mechanic got under the car and was doing a detailed inspection (did I mention they were only offered $60 for a vehicle that needed a new engine?). The mechanic started to add on fictitious issues suggesting that the catalytic converter was missing among other things. I'm not a mechanic, but I know my mechanic friend would not steer me wrong and I knew something was off. A quick search informed us that failing to have a catalytic converter would cause us to fail safety and emissions; we have been up to date on registration and safety for 3 years, so that's BS. I called out the mechanic on his nonsense and he smugly suggested that they could accept the car for free or we can leave. These are horrible people and you should absolutely take your business elsewhere. I don't feel that I need special attention, but I am active duty and was actually in uniform at the time. It is just shameful that someone would so blatantly try to manipulate and rip off a uniformed service member. Go to ABC Used Cars if you need to scrap your vehicle. They are much better people. I would go less than a star if possible. It was the most insulting experience we have had on island in 3 years.
