I was disappointed when I was told my new Hawaiian Airlines Bank of Hawaii Debit card was going to be here Monday or Tuesday and I called on Thursday and found out a Debit card had not even been ordered for me on my new checking account. Then, I was told my Debit card would be another 7 to 10 days. I would think that the Bank of Hawaii would expedite the sending of my new Debit card as a courtesy for making a mistake like that. I would think they would want to show that their banking would not disappoint a client that they were aware of how important the timely delivery of my debit card is for a client with a newly opened an account. I am so grateful to this branch, but particularly Shyanne, a branch manager! She went above and beyond to help with a very unfortunate situation. Her competence and caring personality were exactly what was needed in a case where an elderly family member was making potentially devastating banking mistakes. I feel comforted in the knowledge that Shyanne and the other friendly staff members are there. Truly a bank OHANA!

I've been coming here for the last two years. Nick and his managers have been awesome to me and what I need done. A lot of other banks won't work with you or hear you out. These guys go beyond that to make sure you get done what's needed.

The customer service at this branch is horrible. Walked in and there was only one person in line while 2 tellers (one of them was the business teller) were helping customers. The manager was also at the window with another person but her window is close. Looked like she was training her. There was another worker that walked in behind the teller window but was just talking to the manager. NONE of the employees acknowledged the people waiting in line, NOT EVEN THE MANAGER. The line got longer and longer and still NO ONE was going in to help the 2 tellers. The line ended up to the door.

I do a lot of my banking at Bank of Hawaii. Great service. There is a foyer with the ATM machines. Inside was spotlessly clean, lines were short or no line. Outside parking was easy with ample parking. Short walk from Jack in the Box and Starbucks. T-Mobile is also located just a few minutes from the bank. The visit to this branch was a very pleasant experience.

I am Here at the bank and it's only 4:23 on a Friday. Gal was locking door and said we closed. Hour said till 6pm. No reason as to why they closing early. Customer service needs improvement.

Branch location is convenient though I hardly ever go into a branch, this time was necessary. Waited in line 2 people in front of me & the line was growing behind me. Worker came out to us asking our type of transactions that she could assist with & even offered an older gentleman to walk him through the use of depositing his check in the ATM. Good start to give stars. What dropped everything for me? The teller. No smile with a morning greeting. Maybe she was having a bad start of her day or she was tired due to her pregnancy. Anyway, what I believe is no courtesy, no respect, no common sense, & definitely no concern for a customer's safety. No matter WHAT amount of money a customer is receiving ($5 to $5,000) you SHOULD NOT count it back OUT LOUD for EVERYONE to hear (BTW, the bank with everyone in line was quiet). Bank of Hawaii please alert your tellers for everyone's safety & especially our of respect for your customers.
