“I decided to bring my wife to a nursery in order to get some new houseplants that I would know she likes (because she'd be there to help me pick them out). I did my due diligence, and researched various nurseries. Ultimately, I decided upon Glenn's, based upon their excellent reviews and proximity to our house. What a pleasant surprise to find that the reviews were more than just hyperbole. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and comfortable. We conveyed what we were looking for and were guided through the nursery, receiving helpful advice and recommendations. The plants were beautiful and so healthy in appearance. We ultimately selected seven different varieties, and were even assisted in loading them into boxes and into our car. The prices were very reasonable, and we even picked up a nice bunch of apple bananas. All in all, it was a day well spent. I have no doubt we will be returning, once we're ready to replant our outdoor gardens. If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming plant selection experience I would strongly recommend Glenn's. BTW, they are very conveniently located right off of Kalaniana'ole Highway, in Waimanalo.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Large variety of plants to choose from. You get to ride one of their golf carts to explore the huge grounds. Though their not posted, the prices are very reasonable, too.”

“Been going here for a little over a year now as I'm trying to fix up my back yard and garden and each time I go Taylor always helps me out. She's amazing with recommendations and is always willing to answer any questions or look at any pictures I show her of what I'm trying to get done. She always makes it such a pleasant time there. Would definitely recommend as they have a huge selection for good prices.”

“I stumbled upon this company while searching the web for succulents to give as favors at my sister's baby shower. I am so glad I didn't go to Home Depot as I initially planned. The prices are reasonable and customer service is awesome! I had her choose 45 mini succulents since I didn't have time to pick them out on my own and she was accommodating in meeting with me. The selection and variety of succulents they have are all so beautiful! Support Local!”

“Awesome place with a random assortment of plants, and beautiful hibiscus. I definitely didn't expect to find this caudiciform here, and at a reasonable price on top of that.”

“The hubby had a vision for the garden, and for some reason crotons figured prominently in that vision. After reading reviews of nearby nurseries in Hawaii Kai and Waimanalo, I decided Yamashita was the most promising. (PS One of these days I'm going to do a nursery crawl in Waimanalo, there are apparently quite a few!)If you're coming from Hawaii Kai, it's the last left turn off Kalanianaole before you enter Kailua territory. You'll see a huge sign for another nursery - which is another good one. Take the left turn and about a quarter mile in, you'll see the sign for Yamashita's. Park outside - no parking inside the gate!Once you enter through the gate, stroll through the rows and rows of flora - not sure how big their property is, but it looks pretty extensive. We picked our plants and brought them to the office/shed to pay. The gentleman there was quiet but friendly and helpful - he'll help you load your bigger plants into your car.Don't forget to bring and wear a mask - it is outdoors and not many people there when we went but it's necessary when interacting with the owner and/or workers. Show aloha, not germs - wear a mask!”

“I absolutely love, love this nursery. Most places sell very young to medium plants but this place has tons of very mature plants. If you are like me and just want to have your garden or landscaping done now and don't want to wait years for the plants to grow to make your place look nice then this is the place you need to come. They literally have acres of land that one of the workers can either drive you around or they will bring the plants up to you. We were fortunate to have the owner take us around. We showed him some pictures of the plants we were looking for and he knew exactly where they were and drove us to look at the plants and to pick which ones we wanted. To some the plants maybe on the high side but you are paying for the years they had to take care of the plants to get to that stage of maturity. They also have young plants as well and they are very price competitive. As always do your homework on which plants you are looking for and hopefully you have the names and pictures to show them. We will be back for sure for all our garden and landscaping needs.”

“I was having problems with my sprinkler system. It wouldn't turn off! I called my regular yardman and he couldn't figure out the issue, so I called Mulkern Landscaping. This is the 2nd time I have called on them to fix my sprinkler problems and they are fantastic! Susan Mulkern runs the office and is super helpful. Her husband Kevin Mulkern called me back and after explaining the issues I was having, he talked me through how to reprogram my sprinkler control box. That solved my problems and at no charge! Kevin has a great sense of humor and had me laughing throughout the phone call. I highly recommend Mulkern for all your sprinkler repair needs! Excellent customer service, and extremely reliable. Call them!”

“Grazioso laghetto di fronte al tempio Byodo-in, dalle calme acque nelle quali nuotano placidamente molti pesci. Percorrerne il perimetro trasmette un senso di pace e di relax, favorito dall’ambientazione circostante, ideata per favorire la meditazione personale e per riconciliare la mente al corpo. Un momento di rilassamento che aiuta.”

“TOP on my Favorites List for Nurseries! After visiting here you will never want to buy at retail price again. You can find there plants selling at Home Depot! Located in WAIMANALO you could use GOOGLE MAPS to help you find this place. Need to call for a reservation time and when you do the Aunty who answers will give you times there available! We visit 2x year for plants and get sometimes a 2 for 1 price in comparison to retail. Worth the drive! ?”
