100 Holomoana St, Honolulu“Great hotel with very clean large rooms and great location on the harbor, steps from Waikiki Beach and Ala Moana beach, and the Ala Moana Center mall. Even standard rooms have direct unobstructed ocean view with large windows that slide open, almost like a balcony. Washroom has separate shower with door, separate toilet with door, and separate bathtub, so up to 3 people can use washroom simultaneously with privacy. One of the best hotels I've stayed in worldwide.”

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The hotel's location is a dream, situated a few blocks away from the beautiful Waikiki beach with some amazing ocean views. The service at The Ritz-Carlton is unparalleled. The staff members are attentive, courteous, and go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels special. Whether it was the thoughtful turndown service or the personalized recommendations for local attractions, every detail was handled with care. The accommodations were luxurious and impeccably maintained. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and featured a balcony overlooking the ocean - a true paradise. The amenities were top-notch, from the spa with its relaxing treatments to the dining options showcasing Hawaii's finest cuisine. It also houses a 24/7 gym with decent machines and weights. Ambrose greeted us at reception and definitely gave us the best reception we have had in a long time. When we finally got up to the room, it was also quite nice. Spacious and clean with great views.”

412 Lewers St, Honolulu“Good rooms and value for money. The service is good. They have free parking (which is a 5 min walk) which is a big YES. There is a water filter which is very helpful. They provide beach towels too. Value for money.Walkability: 15 min for wakiki beach.”
“Very pleasant and nice staff, made us feel welcomed, and made our arrival and stay memorable. This hotel is in a prime location where everything is within walking distance. The only downside, which is out of the hotel's control, is the beach. We rented a car and ventured out where the beach was immaculate. The pool is nice and the bar service is great, thank you Jerome for the great service. We loved Hawaii and the people, and when we return we plan on staying here again!”

“Having traveled extensively and experienced luxurious hotels and resorts worldwide, the Hale Koa Hotel holds a special place in my heart as a home away from home for my family and me. Not only are the rooms spacious and comfortable, but the price also provides excellent value, making it an ideal choice for service members and their dependents seeking ease and comfort without the burden of overpriced accommodations in the area. Situated next to the beach, it offers an ideal location for sunbathers and water enthusiasts alike. What truly sets the Hale Koa apart is its unparalleled service. While many establishments prioritize the bottom line, the staff at Hale Koa prioritize individual comfort and satisfaction above all else. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay is evident in every interaction, making guests feel truly valued and cared for.”

2863 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu“If you want a cute, clean with touch of retro and unique experience then this hotel is for you. I was here on business, mind you I’m here on the island at least 9 times a year. I’ve experienced the lower end all the way to high end hotels. This hotel is a gem! A touch of retro in the decoration and also the customer service as well. The rooms are a bit smaller, but they are clean and with an amazing view of Waikiki. You are away from the tourist hub, but not too far for a walk or Uber to the activity! The onsite restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is one that the locals even come to enjoy. I got an oceanfront room which is totally worth the extra spend as you feel like we were floating over the ocean. The beach makes you feel like it is your own private area and has great swimming and snorkeling. I got the valet parking for $40 a night as the parking on the street can be hit or miss, again worth it. Highly recommend.Rooms: Small like the 60’s style but very clean and with modern amenities.Food & drinks: The restaurant is great for drinks, dinner and breakfast!”

6600 Kalanianaʻole Hwy, Honolulu“The food at Roy's is always fantastic, but I'd have to say the service was especially spectacular. I had made the reservation online just minutes before we arrived, but we were welcomed and accommodated very graciously. The hostess helpfully pointed out restrooms as she led us to a table with a nice view of the sunset. A perfect start to a delightful dinner, with fresh salads featuring perfectly ripe and delicious tomatoes, then on to their signature crab cakes (my dining companion called them “so refined”), and I couldn't resist my favorite, the Misoyaki Butterfish. Prices aren't outrageous but are worth it for those special occasions.”

250 Beach Walk, Honolulu“The staff and employees make this place very special. The rooms are not my quality but are adequate ( I vistited my mother here a few days). The area near the pool was very enjoyable and clean.Everything at this hotel was very clean.”
“We stayed here over 15 years ago and had very fond memories from that stay. So for our extended Hawaiian winter vacation we thought we'd stay here again. The first room offered to us, we were not happy about, so we asked for another. They graciously accommodated our request with an upgraded room. We had to wait a little to get in, but that gave us an opportunity to have our first Mai Tai of our vacation. The new room was exactly what we wanted. Very comfortable with a wonderful ocean view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom very spacious. My only critique would be that the shower is a bit small. But not a big problem. Housekeeping was impeccable. All in all, a terrific stay.”

2586 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu“We stayed in the oceanfront one bedroom suite and the room is very nice! It’s more on the basic side but the views make up for that for sure! You get the same view from the living room and bedroom. It’s just beautiful! The bed is very comfortable which was great! The hotel could benefit from an overall renovation but even still I’m happy with our choice. The beach is literally across the street! So many stores and restaurants are walking distance. This hotel is a really good choice and I would absolutely stay here again in the oceanfront suite! It’s well worth the extra $$$ for the suite..”
“Back in the area and stayed at this hotel. I actually enjoyed my room as it was on a higher floor so I can appreciate the views. The room I had this time was spacious and relaxing. Thank you!”

“Located not far from the CBD, there are bus stops right out the front which will take you into town or out to pearl harbour, the airport is approximately 15-20 minutes drive by taxi. The terminal itself is fairly easy to navigate. There can be long queues for taxis when cruise ship passengers disembark.”

2552 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu“We started our Honolulu vacation in a low, end hotel near the convention center because we were with a sports team. The last few days we decided to move to the beach and that is where I met Anna Abe who is a front desk agent at the Marriott.she truly changed our whole vacation. She just brought us into this beautiful hotel and made sure we had a beautiful room and helped me celebrate my daughter 17th birthday. She went above and beyond —-I have never had a hotel employee take care of me the way Ana did. We had a wonderful three nights at the Marriott and can’t wait to come back!!!! And the location was amazing right on Waikiki Beach. Rooms are large and comfortable beds. Stunning ocean views. Great pools and amazing hot tubs and tons of restaurants and everyone we tried was delicious! The staff at the pool was very friendly. We also had a front desk agent named dave that took extra time helping me before I booked the room. And had the sweetest Bellman I’ve ever had in the hotel! What a great stay!!!”

2300 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu“The partial ocean view room was perfect split of mountain and ocean view with city in between. The noise in the street isn’t anything you wouldn’t expect from staying on a Main Street of a city. You’re close to everything. The hotel is very quiet and clean. Housekeeping is amazing and wrote me a personal note thanking us for the stay. Valet is also amazing. Rooms have chromecast that works great. They provide water bottles and water refill stations. Hawaiian aroma cafe. Is awesome. Pool area looks EXACTLY like the pictures. If your first night is a Saturday night, call ahead to see if there is a street fair and if the main road will be blocked and you’ll need alternative directions.”

349 Seaside Ave, Honolulu“A family of 4 ( 2 kids) had a stay of 6 nights here. PROS: 1) location. 3-5 mins walk to beach, steps to dining and shopping; 2) room cleanliness; beach chairs, sun umbrella are available for use; CONS: 1) “ pool” is not a pool, a water pad actually, which is very disappointing to my kids; 2) literally no other facilities on site, like restaurants/ indoor pool/ gym; 3) design of the bathroom is weird, good size but shower, toilet or vanity all in one room so can only accommodate one person one time, very inconvenient for a family of 4; 4) the brightness of table lamp is so hard to adjust, it’s either no light or extremely bright; 5) delayed check in which made us wait for 30 mins plus no flexibility for checking out time. Don’t recommend if you are looking for a more comfy and above average experience.”
“Unmatched luxury and service. After living on Oahu for 7 years, no experience comes close to the high level of customer service and rooms that appear to have been designed by Versace.”

201 ʻŌhua Ave, Honolulu“Staff was excellent helping us get into our room at an odd time, and during our stay. Great location, a short 2.5 block walk to the beach. Comfortable beds and room. Really great recreation deck for larger group meals at the free BBQs. Hope to stay here again.”
“Great people working there. Helped me out for sure. I’m not a flip flop guy so of course I got the wrong size. Went back and they went on a scavenger hunt for the same style in my size. So thank you very much.”
“The rooms are clean due to renovation and bed is super comfortable. Despite rennovation, since the hotel building itself was built a while back it does feel a bit outdated. Also, the hotel only provides valet for parking and space is limited. Towards the end of the night, valet spots will fill up and you’ll have to find parking elsewhere. We did end up street parking throughout our stay but it is extremely difficult. Also the shower drain was super slow to the point where water would rise up to my ankle. You get a drink token when checking in and the pina colada was delicious. For the price point, overall satisfied but definitely could use improvement.”
“Even though I stayed there just one night, it was a great experience. The hotel is centrally located and is surrounded with restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, the International Market and beach. Service was great. Will definitely be returning in the future.”
“The Luana Hotel is an amazing, lovely botique hotel (I always stay here when I come to Waikiki) ❤️! It has excellent views of the ocean and Fort de Russy Park. The location is perfect, both near the beach, near buses and shops!Rooms: Room 1510 has an awesome partial ocean view! Such comfy beds and not too noisy!Nearby activities: Near the ABC Store, food trucks and buses that go around the whole island!Walkability: Perfect location, on Kalakaua and Kuhio. Close to the beach!Food & drinks: On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, they have a Meet and Greet with wine or beer, cheese and crackers and a hulu dancer and a singer (so much fun to meet the other people staying in the hotel)!Noteworthy details: Got a lovely pool!”
“Awesome beach on the windward side. There's a military checkpoint at the entrance, so it's only accessible if you have military ID. Because of this, it won't get too crowded and not so much riff-raff.Secure area with a large, shaded pavilion and lots of tables. Full bathrooms (not nasty porta potties) and outside showers. Definitely family friendly. Waves on this side of the island are pretty mild to moderate later in the year. Soft sand, warm, blue water, and the occasional jellyfish. Watch out. So darn good, though. Top 3 beach on this island for me.”
