“Jason Matsumoto with Slumber World is above and beyond. I’ve had two situations where I needed beds for Kona and Honolulu and he has helped me in both situations. Professional, extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for you! Thank you so much for your help Jason.”

1223 Koko Head Ave #2, Honolulu“A wonderful little shop conveniently located on Kokohead Ave (mauka side of Waialae Ave) this store is the perfect curated blend of unique, handmade, eco-conscious and useful gifts. Seriously in need of some last minute Christmas gifts? Come to Every Day Better! They have handmade items, quirky cards, tools for the kitchen, laundry, garden, and locally made items (like cute reusable napkins with rainbow shakas on them). So many useful funny and simply delightful gifts that make shopping fun. Customer service is also exceptional!Parking is easy to find in the nearby metered lot just a block away or in the paid municipal lot. Kaimuki is such a great area to walk and explore, who knows what other treats you'll stumble across.”
“This is the cutest little shop in Waialae with all the local goodies- perfect for holiday shopping! The pieces here are very unique and has products/ art from a ton of different local artists and artisans. Everything here is really local-fyed and trendy. I love taking mainland visitors here so they can have a unique Hawaii keepsake or so they can go shopping for friends and family back home. The past few times I came here, I got a gift for my mom and for someone who I was going to their house for the first time. Both of those times I bought Aloha Aina aromatherapy candles and soaps. When I've come here browsing for myself, I've gotten zodiac themed jewelry, a cute cellphone charm, and a hair clip. The space might be small but the selection is vast and curated- you never know what goodies you'll find!”
“Incredible gem in Kailua. A vast collection of handcarved artifacts from small to giant (and very affordable to the high-end). Jerome, the owner, is amazing and the whole operation is such a labor of love. You all need to add this to your list of must-visit places in Kailua or just Oahu in general.”

Surfing reindeer & Santa. Brightly colored X'MAS ornaments from ? and ?. The plate goods such as the wedding version and family version are too crowded. The date and name can be written on the plate, making it perfect as a souvenir or souvenir. (I use the year and name as usual)The items were carefully wrapped and placed in a cute bag ?️, and a calendar card was also included! When I returned to Japan, I immediately went to see my collection friends. For Japanese people, it's always summer ? Isn't it exciting to have Christmas all year round near the sea?The woman who owns the store is kind and the staff are kind. I would like to shop there again when I stay in Waikiki ☺️✌️”
“I went and got authentic tatami mats and a shikifuton from Bob after mov8ng ti the island, he had solid information on how to care for his products and where to get everything I needed, fair pricing comparable to online stores and I didn't have to worry about shipping or getting fake tatami mats.”

2005 Kālia Rd, Honolulu“This store is adorable and the price point for Waikiki is reasonable for souvenirs too. Great options for Christmas ornaments and Hawaiian trinkets. I bought a medium size bobble head beautiful ceramic blue turtle and some smaller ones that look like something you’d keep in a curio cabinet.”
10AM - 3:30PM
1202 Kona St, Honolulu“We grew up knowing Iida's as a child and through my adulthood, later with my child. Generations of Hawaii folks know Iida's. I was so heartbroken when they were no longer at Ala Moana Shopping Mall. I reminisce and think of shopping there whenever I pass their old corner location. I will try to make a better effort of shopping Iida's when a gift is needed, or when I need something.”
“Always a pleasure to shop in this store that has a great selection and variety of vintage and cottage items. I always find something that I have to bring home. Yukari is always friendly and helpful, making your shopping experience a pleasure. One of Kailua’s best go to stores to visit. Shop local.”
“Great customer service. I came in for a singing bowl and the owner spent time to teach me how to properly use it. Fun store for crystals, incense, singing bowls, essential oils, and clothes. We will be back. Thank you!!”
“Let me say this. As a native Hawaiian supporting local artists we sometimes do not receive the warmest welcome when entering an establishment. Magnolia is the total opposite of that. From the moment my daughter and I stepped in we felt completely welcomed and at home. The owner, Maggie is an absolute gem. We purchased a tahitian pearl bracelet by a local artist for my sister's birthday and she absolutely LOVED it! My daughter purchased a necklace for herself as well. The experience was so memorable that we returned a week later. I purchased my 2nd diffuser (OMG the aroma is to die for) and some prints from a local artist that will look fabulous in my living room. We will continue to return to support our local artist community and for the sheer joy it brings us to visit. TRUST me, before you visit the "other" similar popular stores. Magnolia should be your first stop. You will thank me for it!”
“It's like they read my mind...Refinery always seem to have something interesting with a slight twist to make you say...aha! This very fun and artsy shop is filled with items for all ages and even for our pets and home that just adds that touch making it our own. They strangely always have an incredible inventory of bags here none really that's for my taste and style but I guess it popular so it's kept fully stocked which is great. The novelty items are funny though very specific and is great for gift giving as it's things you normally don't get for yourself but know who'd love it and will put into great use.I do always find something here but it's so pricey I give another thought and see if I'm able to find something elsewhere first before I make that purchase if starting with a gift bag $12.50 I'm afraid what the total cost for the items will be at the end is frightful. It's really a fun and artsy place that's so much fun to browse and do have so much on my wish list...hint hint but give this place a browse who know what you'll find!Thank you!”
“Located in the Kailua shopping area. There was only one clerk. It had a very quiet atmosphere and there were lots of cute items. When I asked if I could unfold the eco bag to buy it, I was told that I would be shown a photo.I was a little disappointed that I wasn't allowed to do so, even though the reason I wanted to expand it wasn't just to see the design. There were discounted items at the back of the store, and regular priced items at the Waikiki store were on sale at 60% off, which was a great deal.”
“I received a broken candle from them a few months ago. I've reached out to them numerous times. I keep getting told that I will get a call from a manager never get a call I would never order from this company online. Very poor customer service. Edit: After dealing with Catherine G. Everything was made right. She was wonderful to work with. I just wish it didn't have to get to that point. I will shop with them again. Thank you Catherine for everything you did.”
“If you sell it here, it will become famous and trendy in Korea within 2 to 10 years. It's too bad there isn't an Urban Outfitters in Korea. It is impossible to purchase directly, and the Korean online market has not yet been activated, so there are only a few products. The clothes, LPs, souvenirs, and swimsuits purchased here are products that cannot be found in Korea, so it is not a waste of money. It's located on the first and second floors of the Hyatt where I was staying, so I stop by every day.”
“What a special place! If you, like us, want to support local business in your vacation souvenir shopping while also procuring a unique and memorable item, look no further. The concept is that you build a long board and add different items that represent your trip to Hawaii. It’s hard to describe without a visual, so please see the image of the souvenir we built. This consists of the Longboard base, and we added the following items: Palm Trees Background, waves foreground, and surfboard, rainbow, turtle, whale tail, ukulele, & “Hawaii” text. What you see is how we arranged the items. It is an items we look forward to displaying in our home to remember our amazing trip to Hawaii.”
