Amazing compassion kind professional practice at fair price. Not a corporate vet upselling everything including charging extra for same day appointments. I am grateful for each and every staff member that went above and beyond for helping me with my beloved sick dog who isn’t going to live much longer due to new unexpected diagnosis. We were both treated with true compassion and aloha. I am grateful and would highly recommend this amazing team of dedicated professionals. Molly and I are so grateful! Mahalo!

Went to see Wailuku Pet Clinic for an exam and rabies shot as preparation for overseas shipping of our cat. The doctor as well as his assistant were well informed and able to soothe our cat quickly. We really felt that the whole team had a positive attitude towards the animals and the pet owners. Good vibe and helpful services! Highly recommended!

All 4 of my dogs and one cat are seen by Dr. Lester. He's so caring and reasonable with our animal's care. So glad there's a trustworthy and reliable doctor in town.

DO NOT USE THIS VET!!
My wife got stuck in traffic, was 11 minutes late. Their cut off is 10 minutes. She was turned away after driving for 25 minutes to get there. It was at the veterinarians instructions to refuse the visit.
We already were frustrated by the overly expensive prices for small things like eye drops.
There are better options available.
I hope this helps anyone who reads it. I didn't post this to be a complainer, simply to guide you in a better direction.

We have been bringing our three pets to Wailuku Pet Clinic for almost 7 years, and they love visiting them. The staff is wonderful and Dr Chad Lester is an amazing veterinarian.

This was the best vet experience I’ve ever had honestly. They were able to get me in last minute for a drop-off appointment, contact my vet from the mainland, and get my kitty in and out efficiently. The staff are friendly, helpful, young people. There weren’t any gimmicks or expensive fees. They reply quickly by phone. Can’t say enough good things, they totally saved my day.

I think a lot of this clinic and the people that run it. Kind, professional and affordable (relative to most other vets here). They have my business!

About 11 years ago I was on a hike and came across the smallest little kitten. It took me hours to get him to trust me and come out of the bush he was hiding in. I got him into my arms and wrapped him in my shirt. I brought him immediately to the humane society. I didn't want a cat. I had never been around cats. They told me he was too sick and too small to survive and they would put him down. I couldn't let that happen so I took him home with me. Over the course of a couple weeks he gained strength and got healthy. He was terrified of everyone except me. For the first two years of his life he hid in the best hiding places whenever anybody would come over. But he learned that I would never let a single person hurt him. And he slowly became the kindest and most loving cat to ever exist. All he wanted was to be held like a baby. He was loved by everyone that ever met him. When he was about 6 months old, I adopted his brother. They were best friends from day one. They never left each others side. A couple weeks ago he started to exhibit some strange behavior. He didn't want to act as my pillow at night, he didn't want to eat off my plate, and he didn't want to snuggle with his brother. I got him to the vet last Friday. Clearly something was wrong and the doctor squeezed me in the following Monday to get him under anesthesia and assess the situation. I got a call a few hours after I dropped him off. I can truly say yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. My sweet and wonderful baby had to be put to rest. To me, it felt too soon and somewhat unexpected. The ONLY feeling of comfort I had last night was knowing I did the right thing. And I believe I have that feeling because of the doctor and his staff. Dr. Lester explained everything to me. He did not rush me or pressure me. I sat on the floor holding my sweet baby Kiki in my arms. He purred and he knew I was there for him. Dr. Lester sat with me and administered the meds. He hugged me and was extremely compassionate. I could not have asked for a better Dr. in such a horrific moment. My sweet Kiki is gone and that is something that may hurt forever. But I want to thank the Dr and the entire staff. You were all so kind. I rarely write a yelp review, but if you are going thru the pain of letting your loved animal go, I truly believe you will find comfort and peace with these people. Thank you.

i had an appointment for my dog and he was prescribed 4 different medication. when the tech was explaining these, I asked her to make sure to give me the instructions in writing. She assured me it will be written out for me! NOPE! No such luck! The tech asked me if I was buying flea and tick meds and I agreed to purchasing one and she would have it in the package with the rest of my dogs meds. NOPE! I checked it when I dropped off my dog at home and I had to go back to their office to pickup the meds! One of the meds was needing to be followed up with bloodwork 2 weeks later and they were supposed to call me with an appointment!! It's been 4 weeks with me calling to get this follow up appointment and got a recording! waiting for 2 days for them to call me back!! Very BAD follow up! thinking about going to another Vet!! Update! I guess we had communication failure so we are moving forward with taking care of my Petey! Medication for long term to relieve some joint pain so no more limping! Doctor said I should hear from someone by 3:30 today for the new meds!!

I had a very bad experience at Wailuku Pet Clinic. I brought my cat in. ZB had something in her ear. The Veterinarian wanted $1100.00 to remove it. Dr Lester was always so busy to do it. It was going to take a while for him to get to it. Unfortunately. ZB died I do know why she died. She was in perfect health. The only problem was that white think in her ear Today I went to Wailuku Pet Clinic. They knew ZB was dead. They were not very sympathetic about it at all. I wanted to get some thing for my other cat Little Grey she had flees. They refuse to sell the flee medicine it to me. So I had to get some from Someone else.I would not recommend them at all. I thing there all about money. They knew ZB was dead. They refuse help me with Little Grey The only thing they care about is $ Money.

We’ve been coming here she since the previous vet owners who we also liked a lot. Happy that Dr. Lester took over and renovated the waiting area as well as the rooms. Wish they still had boarding for dogs. The staff is always so kind and pleasant. Dr. Lester is great.
