Ahi Poke was just like my Momma's! Bento plates are legit! You can buy them already made or make one in your own combination. Come in early because they run out fast!

Services is a little slow and the displays can get messy but it's a warehouse but wow the food and the choices are so fantastic. My favorite place for poke Bentos cooking utensils, some fun local desserts groceries. Been to Japan twice I really tell much difference at TJ's from small grocers in Morris in Japan. It's a warehouse. It's indoors the lighting dim but real quick also oenjoy the place.

Love, love, LOVE TJs. I used to frequent TJs so much before becoming a mama and now I'm starting to again. Their bentos, okazuya and poke are all really good. I also love their salads. There's something for everyone here. Their employees are the sweetest too. Make sure you get a TJS rewards card too if you're new to Maui. Check them out.

Love the variety of Asian products! It is harder to find Asian markets in Maui as opposed to Oahu. TJ's Warehouse is probably the largest in Maui, although it is tiny compared to ones on Oahu like Don Quixote. We relied on Yelp to guide us here and we loved their prepared food offerings. Lots of bento boxes, poke and hot lunch plates. They also have a deli section and provided some limited fresh fruits and veggies. If you are in need of Asian products to prepare a meal or grab some bentos for the beach or mountain then this is the place to go.

Wanted to love this place. It was referred to me by a local. Unfortunately, it was 3:20 and I think the main bento kitchen was closed and all that was there were the premade boxes. I got the chicken teriyaki, garlic chicken, chicken yakitori, and a beef something...can't remember now. They were all terrible. Also got some sushi. This was also not so great. Not much fish on top and loaded with rice. I wanted to love this place so badly. Other reviews were also good. Everyone inside was nice and locals clearly go here maybe to escape some of the tourist crowds. Maybe ate a few bites from each box. I did eat most of the garlic chicken...but it was a tough go. The rice was good. I really think you have to go when the kitchen is open. Need to be clear that this review is only for the boxes left under the lamp.

This is just one of my favorite places to shop. It makes me wanna cook whatever I want and not have to worry about all the extra salt in our food. I can cook until my hearts content!!

Cheapest and best bang for the buck bentos on Maui. If you're looking for a cheap grab and go meal, stop by TJ's Warehouse. My wife likes the miso butterfish, I don't have a preference, everything is good for the price. Their poke is made fresh and every poke I tried is good too. They also sell different Japanese products from candies and snacks, to household goods, to groceries, to pens and pencils. Great place to make a quick stop and possibly buy more than you intended to.

I could go here everyday. TJ's is located in the Wailuku industrial area. They're a grocery store, Okazuya, deli and caterer. I specifically go here for their ready to go bentos. They have fish, chicken and beef options like chicken yakitori, teriyaki beef, misoyaki butterfish, saba, shrimp tempura, chicken katsu, korean chicken, and musubis to go. You can also get poke and items from their case of prepared food to create your own plate lunch. I've also ordered half pans of food. TJ's website lists their menu and prices. You submit your order online (check online for cut off times) then you'll get called to make payment over the phone. Our favorites are the butterfish and korean chicken bentos. They also have grocery items and some fresh produce. Check them out for affordable local food.

I come often for plate lunch here!! So Ono!! I'm addicted to all of their musubis !! Would highly recommend to stop by in the early afternoon before the line gets long

The bento boxes and the selection of Asian grocery items is where it's at. And the poke bowls are amazing - we love the combination of wasabi poke and shoyu poke. During our one week stay we kept coming back to pick up their delicious bentos and grocery items to cook at "home". The misoyaki butterfish is my favorite bento- with the fish flaky and buttery. We definitely will return next time we are in Maui Mahalo!!

Best bentos and some of the best poke on the island! Great spot for a quick lunch to take with you to the beach. Also great selection of other hard to find grocery items on the island. Staff is also very friends and helpful.
