“Clinical Lab's Pakana location was always a mystery to me until recently. Where in the world is it, I wondered? Turns out, "Pakana" is the name of the street which is just off of Waiko Road in Waikapu, and is near to our home.

Parking is adequate in their private lot or on-street as the area isn't fully developed. There are more staff working here than at their Kahului clinic on Hana Highway, so service has been a lot quicker, and online appointments more widely available. Reception and phlebotomists have been welcoming and professional.

Lab results are quick, viewable online on the next business day.

The only hiccup I’ve encountered are bills received that show no insurance application, forcing me to call in to relay the info regardless of reception making photo copies of my insurance card before going in. Other than that, it’s been smooth sailing.

“This is a pop up clinical labs in the Maui memorial medical center outpatient clinic. I hope this stays as a permanent clinical labs location because this was THE MOST convient and efficient location I've ever been to. Because I am a patient here, you can just walk in to do requested labs instead of making an appointment weeks from now. The phlebotomist at this location was really nice and really good at her job. I'm very excited and impressed.”
