Well, the shops are fine, the company that they contract parking out to is just insane. Fine paying, but then the only way to pay involves them charging a service fee, which is 1/3 the price of paying for an hour. They should allow you to register your car and get 15 to 20 minutes free if you’re just picking something up

Love the Maui Ocean center and next to it is some shops and Pacific Whale Foundation. There's also Tantes restaurant and some other places downstairs.5 hours of free parking for kama'aina. Just text 22 to 42222 and follow the prompts. Super easy. Today I met my hanai kupuna who were visiting for a few hours and we had a nice simple brunch at Tantes and walked around a little bit too. I didn't get a chance to check out all of the shops and haven't been here in awhile but it was nice. I do think they could use an ABC store here for visitors or people taking shuttles to and from here.

Visited the Harbor shops in Maalaea, Wailuku, Maui recently. The Texas owner of these shops and parking lots has now tried to implement paid parking for visitors and supposedly offer free parking to Kamaaina by using a tech dummy company called Parklinq, based out of Honolulu. I tried to text the # posted to register myself as a kamaaina after sitting down for lunch. Didn't realize I needed to remember my license plate # to do so. Received a violation and after I spent $100 for lunch and was harrassed by the parking attendant, his supervisors, Tina and Brett, who finally says, "the violation is no problem, just don't do it 3x or we'll tow your car." I guess the Texas owner of the Harbor Shops is in desperate need of money or are just so darn greedy they think they need need to hire a thug company like Parklinq to belittle, berate and have their parking attendants threaten you to fight you after their shift is over to take care of their non-enforceable violations. Its too bad the lone star state land holders don't spend the money they are splitting with this pathetic Parklinq company on marketing to bring more business and useful shops to this quiet ocean side strip mall. Aloha to you to Texas!!

Very small shopping center and looks like it's seen better days. Located right next to the Maui Ocean Center. We were planning to spend a good amount of time walking through shops after visiting the Ocean Center and while waiting for our sunset dinner cruise. We only spent about 30 minutes or less looking around at 1 main store where I bought a cute flower dress but that's about it. There's some restaurants you can eat at but they didn't look appetizing after we walked around and the surrounding areas don't smell great. We ended up driving somewhere else to spend some time before coming back to the harbor for our cruise.

Was a nice visit, bought some T-shirts. My husband and girls had a drink at the restaurant during happy hour and enjoyed the patio facing the harbor!

I like the Pacific Whale Foundation and the SHOP. Best whale watching tours with them. Their dinner cruise is awesome. I have been going to BEACH BUMS forever. Their food is excellent and so is the service. I am an ice tea drinker and that is great. The Aquarium is awesome and worth seeing. It's a an experience that you will always remember.
