Albert invited us in and gave us a tour. He was very friendly and informative. The place is a little rough, but his artwork is great!

This man was astonishingly rude and dismissive. Maybe alienating people is how he defines himself artistically, which would explain the stagnant and derivative nature of his work.Check out Luminous Ceramics (the MOST lovely woman) right here on Maui, or Light Wave Pottery on Kauai - both of whom will welcome you into their studio and gallery with a joy for ceramic art and the connections it can forge between people across continents and oceans.

Wow... my greeting upon entering Albert's studio was an inquiry, "Do you have a credit card?" and followed by "are you planning on buying or just looking around?". My brother-in-law who is a cermacist himself responded that we may buy depending on our interest in his work. Albert dismissed us immediately saying his work was "top secret". This dude is the rudest person we've encountered in Hawaii. If you are a ceramics enthusiast I highly recommend avoiding Cermic by Albert and instead checking out the incredible work of Maya at Luminous Cermics on Maui.

I read the two negative reviews and I suggest you make you own decisions. My experience with Maui Ceramics was very favorable and the products by Maui Ceramics are first class, top quality and beautifully made.

One star? You bought a hand made piece. One of a kind. From a genius and a genuine artisan. But put all the blame on them when you can't get it home.
We've bought no less than eight pieces from Albert, at different times, and had them all shipped or carried home in our luggage to Australia.
Every one is a perfect masterpiece and we are going back for more.
We've looked all over Hawaii. Maui Ceramics is the best in their field. These pieces will be treasured all our lives as memories of our aloha.
We thoroughly recommend everyone stop by the Maui swap meet, support all the locals and pick your own forever masterpiece by Albert.
Mahalo nui loa for everything Albert

Albert Molina is a scammer, do not buy his factory style produced "ceramics" or ever work for him. He is known to approach tourists and travelers on the island and ask them to do work for them without compensation. He is the definition of sketchy. A girl had written a review about this happening to her BF on here and he got it removed from Yelp. STAY AWAY!

I would give -5 stars if I could!!! Worst business ever. I have never purchased anything from this place and never will now, however my boyfriend worked for this business for just ONE day and needless to say Albert the owner is very shady and rude. He lured my boyfriend in promising to pay him $15/hr. we came to find out later on after the pay was already discussed that he was actually only going to pay him $13/hr. on top of trying to pay him "under the table" to avoid taxes and such. My boyfriend unfortunately left his wallet there after the first day of work and called Albert to ask him to put it on the side for pick up the next day he worked, and at first Albert obliged said he'd keep an eye out for the wallet. The very next morning Albert had the audacity to call and accuse my boyfriend of stealing his (Albert's) wallet, when my boyfriend tried to explain that he didn't take his wallet, and that he didn't even know what Albert's wallet looked like Albert so rudely hung up on him. We got the police involved and unfortunately they said there was nothing they could do with it being a he said, she said type of situation. After the police left my boyfriend went back to try to reason with Albert so that he could get his wallet back because he needed it, to cash his check, we also had gift cards for my little niece's birthday party in there. Albert was very cold and rude about it all, and my boyfriend's wallet is still being held hostage at this business. I'm posting this review so people know how shady this man can be, be careful. Albert I hope karma bites you in the a** like you deserve and when you do find your most likely misplaced wallet I hope you feel like s*** for acusing an innocent person and messing with their finances and personal property.

We can't express how happy we are with the three sinks we purchased from Albert Molina. They are extremely beautiful and showcases his detail, and exceptional creativity as an artist & designer! Albert was nice enough to have us visit his shop and graciously explained the process from beginning to finished piece. We have a much better appreciation for the amount of time and effort spent on every unique piece of artwork. Hats off to his entire team, what a great asset to the Wailuku and Hawaii community! Buy local and support our local artisans.

While on vacation in Maui, I purchased a beautiful piece of ceramic artwork. He wraped the artwork in bubble wrap and cardboard. When I arrived home in CA I found two large scratches. If he wrapped it in bubble wrap and card board, how did the scatches happen?

I wish I could give zero stars for my experience. I saw the Ceramics sign while driving by and decided to stop in. I've been looking to buy high quality ceramics for my house. A nice young man in the front directed me to the back where the shop was. So I went to the back and encountered a stout older bald man who I will assume is Albert sitting at a desk. I asked him if I could see some of his ceramics to possibly buy. He had one of his workers come to help me. Then Albert asked if I was planning to buy anything. I said maybe but I wanted to look first. He then changed his entire mood and asked me to leave because he was afraid I would break something. He said I was not allowed in there. He did it this in the rudest and most unprofessional manner. I was flabbergasted by his unnecessary aggressive manner towards me. I checked his website and he stated on the homepage "all maui residents and visitors are welcome to my studio during business hours". In my professional opinion Albert appears to be highly emotionally unstable. I highly recommend staying far away from Albert as he appears to be unpredictable and may lash out at you for no apparent reason. Where's the aloha, bruh?!?
