So impressed that I found someone on staff who really understood coffee taste profiles and he helped me choose a coffee without any fruity notes - just so happens he was not a fan of fruit forward coffee either! As a home coffee roaster, it was great that they had a knowledgeable coffee person there who suggested the Maui Oma Haleakala Sunrise blend. It was perfect! Wish I would have got his name so I could laud him here! Thanks to the friendly guy with a full beard!

This is a cute place to stop, I bought a couple different local coffees here. The rest of the property also has a bunch of different food options, beautiful walkways, and you can buy some food to feed the ducks!

We have been searching and searching for Sunrise (strawberry) papaya, lo and behold in the most unexpected place we have been driving pass and never visited, we found our treasure! Also unexpected we discovered coffee education and other worldly goods. Definitely will be stopping here again!

I made a $2.09 purchase for which I attempted to pay cash using a $2 bill. The cashier refused to accept my $2 bill (in a not so polite manner). When I stated that a business accepting cash has to accept all US currency, unless posting a sign to the contrary, she very rudely stated that she didn't have any place to put the $2 bill and was not going to accept it under any circumstances. Unfortunately, more words exchanged.
I should have just paid with a credit so they can "lose money" on the transaction fee.
It's been a long time since I've been so rudely treated by a business, and this at a place visited by a lot of tourists!

Ordered the Sunrise Papayas from Kumu Farms for relatives that moved from Hawaii to a small town in Oregon. Communication was great. Got notices upon its shipment and tracking which proved to be really fast! I was impressed! The papayas were mostly green on arrival (which btw is not seen as an issue). Instructions were also included. Upon ripening, the papayas were totally loved and enjoyed. Mahalo Kumu Farms for the care you took in selecting and packing the papayas! ? I will definitely be back in the future to order again.

Charming country store and grounds full of history and beautiful views - complete with ducks and fish and mountain views! The restaurant there, Cafe O'Lei was wonderful and delicious - and not too expensive!

I ordered organic papaya on January 22 2024 and have not heard back from this farm. They won't return my calls or emails. Looks like $65 down the drain. What a rip off!

Definitely a nice place to stop to pick up lunch for a picnic, wander around to the pond, buy fish food to feed the koi. Staff are laid back and there's no pressure to buy anything. We purchased sandwiches, salad and teas to go. We then wandered to the back where a large pond sat filled with fish and duck. There are some nice Instagram worthy photos and it's a relaxing jaunt around the property. You could have purchased food to feed ducks and fish but decided not to. The cashier line was quite long. The ladies work a little slower but it's okay we are on Hawaiian time. This is a great place to pick up local souvenirs and just walk the grounds.
