“Absolutely fabulous experience; if I could give six stars I would. I had a collectable print in my closet for more than two years that I had been meaning to get framed, and I am so glad I waited until I came to Northshore Art and Frame to do so.Sean's artistic talents and grand eye for color helped guide me to the perfect color and frame, and I sincerely can't get over how good it came out. When I initially dropped the poster off I knew it was going to look great when I came back to pick it up, but I didn't know just how much I would love it. The frame he helped me choose makes an already vibrant poster pop, and immediately grabs the attention of anyone who enters the room. It has not been hanging for a week at this point and already it is the first thing every single guest comments on. I've framed things in the past and have seen some beautiful frames, but the fantastic job Sean did has made me reconsider how much of a difference a frame can really make.If you are looking to get something framed I would highly recommend coming here. Sean is easy to talk to, will help you pick out exactly what is right for your art, and you will leave completely flawed and in awe of the job he did every time you look at it hanging in your home. Additionally, he is an amazing artist and has my beautiful pieces and prints for sale. I'm looking forward to coming back and decorating my home with Sean's work. Thank you again!”

“Such a great couple, contributors to the Maui community. Both in the earnest spirit of the island represented in his works as well as the instruction provided to aspiring artists.”

“Mr. Sandell is super chill and has an incredible selection of his own art available on tshirts and as prints of all sizes. They make for amazing souvenirs that are distinctive and truly one of a kind. He only takes cash or PayPal though!”

“Patti knows birds like a shaman knows spirit guides. Her unassuming shop offers an amazing array of feather jewelry and other feathery eye candy. When it comes to helping injured birds, Patti is the real deal. Even the island's Boo Boo Zoo refers injured birds to her directly. She doesn't ask for money, but once you see her back room arrangement, you quickly realize she knows her business and the birds that she cares for and revives absolutely love her. Patti's work is Pono--from the heart; in integrity with what she loves. Please consider generous donations for this woman's profound labor of love.”

“Off the beaten path overlooking Kahakuloa, This shop has a big selection of high quality art and crafts from several local artists at reasonable prices. Not the junk you see in Kihei torist shops, or the overpriced pretentious thing you see in Wialea. Genuine and authentic local feel. No food or drinks but a row of picnic tables overlooking Kahakuloa in a beautiful setting. Well worth a stop if you have decided to venture along the north shore.”
