Safety: We felt extremely safe, both coming and going.
Walkability: We were able to walk to the nearby ocean, pool, and the well manned reception desk was great.

This place is UNBELIEVABLE.
As I walked out of the property with my fiance following a night cap of drinks at the infamous Bird Cage bar with some of our dear friends, we couldn’t help but look ahead to our next stay (I.e. Baby Moon).
While we approached our car - I saw out of the corner of my eye one of the hotels employees, Chelsea, dashing towards us as if she were running the 100M dash at the Paris Olympics.
“WAIT WAIT” she yelled. It was Chelsea with my fiancé’s Target sunglasses.
The sheer effort for her to ensure we didn’t leave anything behind is ALL TIME.
Will never forget this place. My word.

We travel a lot and we go to a lot of special hotels but this one we felt had to be one of the best stays of our lives. We honestly never thought any hotel or team could top some of the experiences we have had but this place took our travel experience to another level. When we arrived we were fussed over by the bell boys. There was no push for tips which obviously we do ensure we give but it was so classy and slick how they deal with you. Thanks to Kikea & Jordan for sorting us out. Just a perfect start. We then were greeted by Aric at the front desk. He, for me, brought so much personality to the hotel. His smile and laugh is infectious and you cannot help but love him. He brought it from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The first night we had dinner at the hotel and it was such a perfect way to start our stay. Ian, Jeremiah and Stevie Ray made the whole experience for us just so unique. The knowledge of the phenomenal wines this hotel can boast about we thoroughly enjoyed. We went for Californian wines because we have so many good wines living in Europe that are local to us we wanted to try what the US has to offer and they smashed it with what they have stocked. Stevie Ray we wanted to say thank you to for our last night and we were so glad to return to the restaurant. He did something that we just felt we would never get to experience again and it was like a perfect bucket list moment that I will remember as long as I live. Also Jeremiah was away that evening but he even left a nod to us. It was just moments full of thought and just felt like it came from the heart. Conor, LJ, Nissa & Kainoa we were so grateful to meet. They were so brilliant too and just another group of amazing team members that make this hotel great. Breakfast in this hotel is like having Michelin star quality food as soon as you wake up. Shout out for the garlic rice. I'm flying back for that alone. Jessica was great at getting us settled in a table we'd enjoy. Danny looked after us every morning and he was just another phenomenal team member. I actually felt sad when we had our last breakfast. Really says something when you know you are going to really miss an experience so much. We loved the cocktail class they do. Got so lucky to get a spot at the bar and understandably it's popular because James will have you laughing all the way. I wish I spent more time at the bar with him as yet another great personality to add to the many you'll find in this hotel. We can keep going on forever about the team at this hotel but I need to add that the rooms here are just stunning. They were so perfect for relaxing and recuperating. It was exactly what we needed from this break. The pool area was amazing. The photos do not do it justice but you'll find that out for yourself. Special shout to Dana, Derrin, Chef Ryan, Shaiyan and Tyler also. Wanted to mention them also as they all added to our holiday. I honestly cannot stop gushing about this trip and the people we met as well as how stunning the complex is. We feel like this is a team that makes it a leading hotel and staying here is worth every penny without fail. You can have a beautiful complex and amazing food but if the personalities are not there it just does not work and the team here added the x factor. Need to go back as have so much left to enjoy and explore.

Hotel Wailea made our honeymoon absolutely magical. The property and rooms are stunning, and the service is what sets Hotel Wailea apart - we found a ton of value in the property’s amenities and services, from the beach shuttle, to the incredibly responsive guest service team to the thoughtful room amenities and snacks included. There are also daily activities like yoga and mixology classes. Adults only and the size of the resort make it feel super intimate and exclusive.

My husband and I stayed here for five days on our honeymoon, and we both wish our stay was longer!
From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of top notch. From the excellent valet to the front desk concierge, we were greeted and treated like honored guests. The suite was fantastic - clean, aesthetically pleasing, and cozy. Housekeeping does a great job at ensuring the suite stays tidy and restocked throughout your stay.
We especially appreciated that the pool is adults only. The staff at the pool were attentive and the cocktails were delicious. We also took advantage of the fact that the pool and hot tub are open 24 hours a day, it was cool to hop into the hot tub after dinner, and most times than not it was empty.
We had breakfast every day at The Restaurant and I had a different menu item each time, and was never once disappointed. We also had the prix fixe dinner there one night, and while it is a bit of a splurge, every course was phenomenal.
They have a great private transport option to get you to the beach and back as well, so you don’t have to worry about parking, beach equipment, or Ubering.
We will be staying here again!

This is an exceptional place to stay. Coming from Vegas, where we’ve experienced high-end hotels on the strip, this location far exceeded our expectations. The customer service is outstanding, and we loved all the amenities: the birdcage, pool, gym, yoga classes, mixology sessions, and more. The no-kids policy enhances the peaceful atmosphere, eliminating concerns about splashing and screaming.

This is the perfect place for a relaxing Maui getaway for adults only. The suites are large, inviting, nicely decorated and ours had beautiful views of Kaho’olawe, Lana’i and Molokini. We enjoyed the open-air gym with amazing views and had a fabulous dinner at the Restaurant. The Birdcage Bar is so charming with the darling lovebirds and yummy drinks.
The hotel surprised us with unexpected amenities—local snacks, soft drinks and home-made truffles.
Hotel Wailea is a splurge and worth every dollar!

I wish that we stayed here for more than two nights! This resort felt much more intimate and quiet than some of the other larger resorts in the area. Helps that it's adults only! While it would have been nice to have a big lazy river or something, the pool area was beautiful and never felt crowded. The shuttle service provided was great and took out the stress of having to find parking at the beach. The drinks at the pool were very pricey, but that's to be expected at a five star resort. We only had dinner at the Birdcage because we didn't want the pre-fixed menu at the main dining room, but the food was fantastic. I got the fish collar, "Kama", and it was hands down the best piece of fish I've ever had. Service here is top notch and they make you feel like royalty! Mahalo

Outstanding service and experience. If you are a sentient being between ages 18-82, this is the place to stay in Wailea. If you’re debating between the Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Waldorf- THIS is the place to stay. You are up the hill from all of the “big name” resorts and have on demand car service to set you up on all those beaches with towels chairs and umbrellas provided. This is the move.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. We stayed here for our honeymoon. The service is second to none. The location in Wailea is close to almost everything. And the rooms are spectacular— they are enormous suites. You will not find a better hotel in Maui. I guarantee it.
Noteworthy details: An on-demand shuttle service providing efficient rides to anywhere within the Wailea area.
