Rooms: Very spacious.
If you want a double bed. Make sure you request it EARLY!
Walkability: Nice walk along the coast and other resorts!

We are Val and John Prvate Chefs and we love to cook at the Feirmont Kea Lani. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped and the staff is super efficient !

As a family of 5 with three teenagers; staying in a villa was such a fantastic idea! The villa is pretty much a townhouse, everyone has their own bed and lots of space to spread out! The “backyard” is fantastic; a large table to eat at, lounge chairs, the plunge pool is actually a decent size if your more a dunker then a swimmer. The hotel itself is located steps to the sea walk; which will lead you to all the other hotels or just an amazing morning walk. The fairmont has access to a beach, which you can get a lounge chair and umbrella. Note the sand is HOT, so wear shoes!!! Breakfast is included in your villa, which is amazing as a family of 5 breakfast will run you about 400 bucks! So if breakfast is not included in your stay, you’ll want to have breakfast in your room. There is a Safeway down the road. Ko is definitely a splurge to eat at; but worth every bite! The pools are stocked with lots of lounge chairs and sunscreen, You can order drinks/food too. There is a shuttle on site that can take you around. The hotel is a great resource to plan some off site experiences. Some notes; the sun is a scorcher! Wear spf 50 or higher (we’re normally spf 30 wearers and were burnt), in the villas you can do laundry, the villas are stocked with lots of pots/pans/dishes..so if your trying to save some money plan some meals there. We loved our stay at the fairmont and are already planning our return!
Rooms: Villa is a townhouse with tons of space for everyone! Can easily sleep 8-10 people!
Nearby activities: Snorkeling, boat trips, shopping, hiking
Walkability: The sea walk is right by the beach. Or you can walk just outside the hotel.

The Kea Lani offers an excellent Maui beach location, newly renovated rooms, delicious dining choices, nice amenities and services.
Rooms: Rooms are actually suites with large baths and sitting rooms.
Nearby activities: A trail connects the Kea Lani to other hotels and activities in the area.
Safety: We felt very safe in this hotel!

Kea Lani deserved more than 5 stars. Loved our mini suite and the adult pool. For those traveling with our without kids, it's perfect. The buffet breakfast offers such a wide variety of food that caters to all foods restrictions. All the pool attendants were so nice and helpful. The pool ammenities had cold water, towels, chair covers, sun screen and after sun lotion.
Rooms: Our room had a living room and separate bedroom, very spacious. The out door lanai was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and read in the morning. The hotel offers refillable water bottles and water filler machines everywhere.
Food and drinks: Pool side food and drinks were so good. Loved being pampered.

We are always glad to stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea Maui. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are huge. The views, of course, are stunning if you choose the right room. The new Pelini bar in the lobby has an excellent assortment of cocktails and food. In fact it was one of the better sushi Tastings, we had the entire trip!

Great property with fantastic rooms. Their main lobby bar is one of the best if not the best on the resort side of Wailea. Service could have been better with parking and getting checked in. Some miscommunications but minor.
