They have three 9 hole courses, the King, Lakes and Ocean. The courses are in good condition and friendly staff. Wide fairways but still challenging. Their online pricing was confusing. I selected the Kings course and Lakes Course and prices showed for that selection it was $89As it turned out that was for EACH nine holed so total was $178. Selecting the Ocean nine hole increases the total about another $40..

A great layout for practical training, weather that can't be compared to Southeast Asia, fast greens and a well-maintained course.really nice golf course

We were told we would be playing Beach/King. Was never told a junior golf tournament was going to be playing ahead of us when booking round. Never played King but played beach/lakes. Beach had a few nice views but the.course is dry and brown-HORRIBLE condition. Greens were bumpy and shaggy. Don't waste your money this is a overpriced hyped course that isn't cheap. No cart GPS. Also were told can't warm up because of the tournament. They don't care about the patrons

Great resort! The grounds of this property was huge. We stayed in a unit that was kind of far from the clubhouse. We rented a car so it was easy to just drive and park closer to clubhouse when we wanted to go to the gym or swim. They do have bell service with golf carts for the property. Gym was tiny and busy most mornings. We absolutely loved the pool. We had lunch at the bistro it was good. We needed more coffee and towels and it was as easy as texting the clubhouse and it arrived within a hour. Staff was friendly and nice. We had a first floor unit and it was so nice drinking coffee on the back patio every morning. Also we loved watching the wild goats run around the property. Bed was comfortable and unit was nice. Although the shower was huge my only complaint would be the floor was kind of wore and dirty looking. Other than that this resort was great! Kona is beautiful and we can’t wait to go back. Would stay here again!

On the positive, the grounds, location, pools, amenities are very good. The Waikoloa area is also spectacular. The unit is high quality with great beds, large bathrooms, and a great lanai. However, our unit's floor was filthy (visualize muddy tracks in the shower); we killed about a dozen roaches in the kitchen area over the 7 days; the garbage collection area was next to our stairs and was always filthy, and we had to call housekeeping to get the correct supply of towels, utensils, and sundries.

We stayed here for 6 days and the facility was more than we expected. Every part of the resort was well taken care of and the facility as a whole was just beautiful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Top notch with a great view. We enjoyed swimming in the family adult pool and using the hot tub.

Loved this resort! They accommodations were wonderful! We had a double lanai with full sliding glass doors. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and small appliances. They provided us a high chair and crib upon request too. Silly- but we all raved about the heated toilets and bidet! We received housekeeping on two occasions and both were great- they fully restocked our toiletries, coffee and towels. The POOLS were one of our family’s highlights of the trip! Saltwater and amazing for littles! We ate at the bistro multiple times and loved it - the fish tacos were great. We enjoyed the nightly free live music and the hula performance! So nice to have your car parked right in front of where you are staying. Only con- we requested in advance on multiple occasions to be near our family who booked separately but for the exact same dates. When we arrived they had us on opposite sides of the resort. This was incredibly disappointing and they were not able to get us any closer. Pool/beach towel program worked great.

We were sold a week at the Waikoloa timeshare while at Las Vegas presentation. The video Hilton showed at the Vegas presentation made this resort look super impressive. What we found out later was that the vast majority of the timeshare locations were spread out through many acres of the property. The video shown was actually of the hotel which, to be fair, the timeshare people have access to. The timeshare unit we were given was not up to par. Despite having a big banner on the television claiming "CleanStay", we found housekeeping was not good. A huge stain on the couch greeted us upon entry. We then found mold on a lamp that was by the bed. Light switches had something, probaby food?, on them that should have been cleaned. TV remote didn't work. Safe didn't work. Shower tile didn't seem clean. Furniture paint was chipped, and our view from the balcony was a parking lot. While the staff was quick to respond to requests re safe, remote and additional supplies, the quality assurance for this resort is lacking. Hilton should be better than this.

We stayed at King's Land 4 years ago for our toddler's bday and had an amazing experience. So when my now big kid wanted to celebrate his birthday at the Big Island this year, he requested King's Land. I reserved directly through Hilton and opted for the highest rate for the Deluxe Golf View 1Br King to earn double Hilton points. When we checked-in, the receptionist raved about the location of the building (#8) we were assigned despite not having requested it. She said we were lucky! I was excited but that's where it ended. She then proceeded to say the hotel was fully booked and when that happens the hotel assigns ADA rooms which we got. I asked what that entailed and she said she didn't know. She looks it up and reads there is only a bathtub. I asked if there was at least a hand held shower that mounts on the wall so we could shower. She didn't know and consulted with her co-worker who confirmed there was. I agreed to check it out and let her know. Upon arriving at bldg #8, there was bagged trash in front of the elevator. In front of our door, there was a bag of dirty linens. We go inside and the bathtub has no enclosure (shower curtain/walls) and the handheld shower is mounted on the tub itself and tjhno hook to mount on the wall. For a week, we would have to squat to shower so no water spills to the floor and cause potential slipping accidents. ADA rooms are important and should be available for those who need or request them. We did not request one, nor did the hotel's website show availability for that room to be booked. I made our booking based on the photos and description of room amenities advertised. At no point during the booking process did Hilton disclose that when the hotel is at capacity, the hotel would assign an ADA room. They said there is nothing they could do because the hotel was fully booked. I refused to accept their answer and insisted they resolve it. After almost an hour, the manager said she can re-assign us a room the following night. I related how we didn't want to take valuable vacation time to move our bags and wait for the room to become available the next day. So the manager agreed to have our things moved for us.The new room was in building #24. We prefer the outdoor room entry to #8. #24 design was too enclosed and it's far from the main pool. They provide golf cart pick up upon request which my kid loved riding. Oh and our trash was not removed during mid-week clean so was overflowing. What's up with the trash?

The entire resort is fantastic, the pool area's were great (they seem to run out of clean towels a bit too often) and our unit was extremely clean (on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give it an 11!). Unit was well stocked and everything was in great repair. I also saw maintenance working on many other units while there, they really seemed care about their resort.

A fantastic full service property with lots to offer. Our room had a beautiful balcony, full kitchen, and slept four comfortably. We enjoyed the ability to be able to buy groceries and prepare our own meals instead of eating out all the time. The pool area was amazing and had plenty of chairs for guests to utilize. If you’re lucky, you may even see a few cats on the property :) Bring them some snacks!

I booked this hotel for 3 nights and due to an emergency I had to procrastinate my trip. Since last one week I tried reaching reservation staff but I was going back and forth between honor member and front desk. Finally, when I told I want to talk to your manager, they accepted the cancellation but charged me a fee. I never wanted to cancel rather wanted to modify the travel dates but end up paying a fee.

Pricing and tee time problems. Staying on property only a couple of days. Stopped into pro shop in person to inquire about rates. Was told one price booked a tee time. When I arrived I was then quoted a price 4 times higher than what prompted me to book. I was then told there’s nothing they can do. Ended up canceling. Frustrated I planned one of only a couple precious days in Hawaii to get a run around. Beautiful course but seems to be confusion around staff members.
