Alex, Anna, and Casey took me and some boys out shark diving. Such a great experience, they prioritized safety and informing us well about the dive. The dive site was mad peish, tons of sharks and all were super peaceful. 10/10 recommend for any adventures on the island

Aaron was so knowledgeable about the island and the experience. We swam with a pod of over 20 dolphins right away!!! They stayed the entire time we were out. We also had a beautiful snorkelling experience where he pointed out many fish and when we returned to the harbour... more dolphins! It was beyond magical and I loved that the entire experience was eco friendly. Highly recommend it!

Do Not Miss This Experience!!!!!!!!! Aaron is a most excellent host and provides an experience that you will remember forever. He thinks of many details to make your time with him easy, fun, informative, safe and memorable. We were very fortunate to have dolphins in sight within 5 minutes of paddling out from our starting point. It was truly amazing and such a delight. I was able to spend much time with the dolphins. It was really magical and special ~ Thank you Aaron! He truly is the dolphin whisperer :) After I had my fill with the dolphins, we moved on to our snorkeling spot. Along the way Aaron told stories of the early Hawaiians and other cultural points of interest. The snorkeling was better than I expected being that it is really close to downtown Kona. Getting there by paddle board was the plus for this location. There was a great variety and number of fish. I found an eel and Aaron swam down to get some GoPro footage. He is taking a lot of GoPro videos and photos which he shares with you later. This is truly worth your time and money! Thank you again Aaron for a fabulous morning.

This experience is one that you MAY NOT MISS! SERIOUSLY!!!! Aaron was one of the best parts of this trip, his knowledge of the island is incredible and he became my daily resource of "what should I do today?" The experience was wonderful! We saw so many dolphins, sea turtle, fishes, and reefs. Also, Aaron was great about teaching us everything about the island and he was also very passionate about teaching us about all the wildlife we were seeing. So many thumbs up!!!!

First off I have to say that I had never done anything like this before, not even kayaking. I was nervous and unsure of how my inexperience would affect my trip. It turns out it didn’t matter at all!! I found it even more magical and exciting because it was all new. Paddle boarding was so much fun! Not hard in the least! The instructor Aaron and his assistant Sierra were the most laid back and attentive people, and truly embodied the island spirit of Ohana (family)! We started out paddling to the center of the cove where we had a beautiful view of the surrounding land. Aaron then gave an extremely informative historical briefing of what was around us as well as some of the legends of the island. (I am not new to Hawaii and even I was impressed by his stories!) Aaron then took us towards the reef where we would go snorkeling. We were on our way when a pod of dolphins showed up! Aaron and Sierra directed us right to them, where we got off our boards and swam with the dolphins! It was the most amazing experience! They even had two babies in the pod and you could hear them communicating with their high pitched clicks and calls! It was simply magical. If that wasn’t cool enough, after the dolphins swam off, Aaron took us to a beautiful snorkeling spot. He even explained what kind of fish we were seeing and pointed out some more cool facts! (Like a piece of metal left over from a WWII destroyer ship!) He snorkeled with us pointing out amazing things all the way back to shore where we concluded our trip. It was more than I ever expected and an experience I’ll never forget. I am truly grateful to Aaron, Sierra, and Hawaii Island Adventures Co.!!!

This was the best adventure we had in Hawaii. Me and my 15 year old son found Aaron and hit the water. We had the best time. It was so peaceful paddle boarding out. It was so easy and fun. Then the dolphins showed up and made the whole experience next level. They swam around us for 15 minutes. We then continued on and had the best snorkeling experience around. So much fun. We learned a lot about Hawaii and will never forget this outing! WE HUGHLY RECOMMEND ???

We had such a great time! We saw tons of dolphins right away. It was so cool to be so close to them and to listen to them communicate underwater. We saw some pretty neat fish while snorkeling. Aaron and his wife, Stephanie, were awesome guides. They are passionate about what they do and care about the ocean. They made sure each of us got the most out of the experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

My 6-YO son and I went out with Aaron yesterday and it was without question the highlight of our trip (right up there with watching the sea turtles at the spot Aaron directed us to after our time with him)! I was super stressed on the drive over to Kona, because we were staying in Pahoa and ran into traffic...repeatedly...on our drive across the island, which we didn’t expect (so leave closer to 5:00AM than 5:30AM if you signup for the 8:00AM tour and are on the Hilo side of Hawai’i). I was worried about Aaron and the rest of our group waiting around on us, that people would be frustrated, but as soon as we met him and the other gal heading out with us, all was cool. Good vibes all around. As we paddled out, Aaron gave us an interesting lecture on local Hawaiian lore. It was a fun and unexpected addition to the paddle boarding experience. We also really appreciated his sense of environmental responsibility - from reminding us to wear reef-safe sunscreen to providing leaves to clean our goggles to relying on a form of transportation that doesn’t produce noise or any other type of pollution. There were, unfortunately, so many boats in the water that they forced the dolphins south. So we didn’t get to see them, but the trip was still perfect. I’ll never forget the color of the water! And looking down into what felt like a real-life version of Finding Nemo...it was just so beautiful and peaceful. It was a perfect and magical experience even without the dolphins, which had understandably fled to more peaceful waters. It was also my son’s and my first time snorkeling, and he struggled with his mask from time to time. Aaron was quick to adjust and maneuver the equipment so that my son was comfortable and able to see clearly under the water. He also made me feel safe enough to turn my attention from my little boy to the amazing scene below me and even took a picture of us together underwater, which I will treasure forever. We enjoyed every minute of our time with Aaron and would book again in a second, even on this trip if we had more time! The whole experience exceeded expectations and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It was incredible.Mahalo, Aaron, for the amazing experience, for your kindness, and for providing adventure in a way that reminds us we are guests in the sea creatures’ territory and not the other way around.Aloha nui loa,The Lunas
