“After riding in on fumes from Hilo through a torrential downpour on my motorcycle I was thankful for the warm welcome and friendly service to get fuel, food, drink and warm up a bit.”
“I visited the big island in December, am late in posting. This market sells thee freshest fish, caught daily by Hale I'a Da Fish House fishermen. They offer delicious varieties of poke, staff is friendly. There was usually a line by 11:00 am, which is a good sign. I can hardly wait to return to this family owned hidden gem. Mahalo.”

I know that Minit Stop is known for their fried chicken and came specifically for that. The menu offered a chili and fried chicken combo but unfortunately they were out of chili. So I just ordered some chicken and rice. The staff packaged up my meal and handed it to me along with a ticket to pay at the front counter. All the staff were friendly, both from the chicken area as well as the front counter. We even had a brief conversation about the goats across the street because I was curious and asked about them. The Big Island has an abundance of wild goats.”

All the supermarket nearby either were out of spam musubi or the rice was dry and hard. The spam musubi here was perfect that we decided to come back here for more as we were in town! We were bummed they didn't have chicken katsu musubi when we came back because it was sooo delicious! I'm happy with whatever we found.”

Props for the effort to keep the aloha going at work! The pharmacy has long lines. At least they finally put a sign up outside with their hours! Right now the close for lunch around 1-2pish.If you are from the mainland, please don't expect the little local Longs to be able to stock every random RX you may want to fill on vacation. Plan ahead and bring your chronic meds with you! ALL the pharmacy's here have issues getting some meds, and it serves no purpose for you to go on & on about how your CVS in Indiana has no problem getting your stuff. NO ONE CARES and it has nothing to do with whether it's available here. I love this store and the ladies who work there!”

“Convenient store for those who stay at Marriott or Hilton: it has a bit of everything, from drink, snack, souvenirs, local products, swim and snorkeling gear. Most of the big brand prices are higher than those you can find in the bigger towns (but 35 mins away), the trade off for time off enjoying the beach and surrounding beautiful areas.”
