Beautiful place the only problem is the afternoon traffic getting there. I wish we had a learning center like that. Lots of rooms and bathroom, white boards, comfortable tables and chairs. Look forward 2 many more workshops out there

I have been here twice for different events. This last time was for a poverty simulation. It was very impactful and well thought out. I really appreciate the center because of everything it does for the community.

My daughter goes to preschool here and I absolutely love it. There are many different schools but overall the facility is clean and beautiful. They have great playgrounds and all the staff (even the security guards) are super friendly. On the other side there's offices of many different organizations including Kamehameha where they hold a lot of workshops and classes FOR FREE! Plus many times dinner and childcare is included. I would recommend all Westside residents to take advantage of these workshops!

Don't recommend taking your child to Waianae Early Education Center, located at the Community Learning Center At Maili. Took my daughter to school this morning & 5 minutes later they are saying she has a rash, went straight back to pick her up & nothing.. even took photos while there at the school, no rash, no redness absolutely nothing wrong with her. Explained earlier on the phone that my daughter was throwing a tantrum & screaming on the way there & while trying to get her to her class because she didn't want to go school & she was flying herself down & running away & that the redness is from her nerves brought on by anxiety or stress induced sensitivities (look it up). Jennifer, lady in office was rude & stated no it's not that & that it is indeed a rash & that I cannot bring her back until she has a Dr. note. Of course I picked her up, no way I would ever take my child to school with something contagious & jeopardize the health of the other children.. but when she said my daughter could not return until I have taken her to the Dr. & return with a note was when I got upset. Now why would I need to take my daughter to the Dr. when there is absolutely nothing wrong with her. I ever take my child to school sick, will keep her home & keep her home even if it's only a cold. She only attends 2-3 days a week for 5 hours a day or less just so she would have that interaction with other kids & get use to the school environment since she will be starting Kindergarten this year. Instead of them letting her rest a little bit & see for themselves that the redness would alleviate itself when she calms down they are quick to call & send your child home. I should have listened to others when warned about this school but figured I'd give it a go & form my own conclusions to whether or not they are a good school to send your child to. I have heard of complaints about Hands, Foot & Mouth Disease being a big problem there & that they do not alert parents that there is an outbreak. My daughter has only attended this school for a few months & being there she has already gotten it once & had to keep her home for 2 weeks just to make sure she was well enough & not contagious & also give the school some time to have everything wiped down cleaned & sanitized so she would not get it again. Just want to alert parents out there who are considering sending your child here.. keep looking! $690 a month & I need to pick my child up when she is not even sick let alone getting a Dr. note to return when there is nothing wrong with her is absolutely pointless & a waste of time in my opinion!! Needless to say, my daughter will not be returning!

Was fortunate the other day i found this place from google map, I thought it was part of Kamehameha school but realized it was located on the other side of the area. Although i was not sure if i would be able to go there by bus but luckily I got a ride and was able to make it to a community meeting. It seems the center was very newly structured and a fairly modern as contemporarily designed. So happy i got to visit the center.

Convenient, nice, new center. Everyone is very welcoming. Many of their services serve the keiki on the leeward coast and services for their Ohana!you can feel the Aloha here! Because this is a brand new center the facilities are nice and clean. That's always a plus when looking for child care!

This is one of the most beautiful learning centers around, in my opinion. The Ka Pua initiative preschools are in the buildings behind the learning center. Schools like punanaleo, waiana'ae early education and keiki o ka'Aina. These preschools serve the children of the west side- all of waiana'e coast. I believe that tuition starts at $675 approximately. All programs offer a great, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for the keiki. The many workshops that are provided there are invaluable- for both parents and non-parents. Check out their website for more info!
