This hardware store is clean and very well organized. The staff are pleasant and kind and they are always eager to help customers find their way around the store to get to the products/services that the customer is looking for. I love it that all the staff that I do bump into is knowledgeable about the products/services that they have in stock and that they are very well informed about the products/services that they have in the store. This is the biggest hardware store in the Waianae-96792 area/zip code.

Friendly and helpful. I have purchased plants, gardening supplies like orchid mix, potting soil, peat moss and fertilizer. I have purchased mud, tools to apply and sand mud. They have had everything I need, on multiple projects. Convenient and great customer service.

Went in yesterday (8/27/23) for a single handle valve trim kit for my bathroom shower. My current single handle was in dire need of a replacement. Called to inquire what I'd seen on their website was in stock, and it was. The Associate my wife had spoken to on the phone was on lunch but, we were helped out by the shift Manager I believe and the Associate that was in the paint department. They were extremely helpful and courteous! We made the purchase, went home and we replaced the old quickly and easily. The Staff are always helpful and friendly! Mahalo Waianae City Mill and the Amazing Staff!

This local hardware chain competes with the "big box" stores by knowing their customers and carrying specific and/or inventive merchandise. When there is a power outtage, employees show up carrying flashlights to assist customers. City Mill is always my first choice for tools, furnishings, paint, electrical, plumbing, gardening, and cleaning supplies.

I mean, if you got to, go for it. but everything is kind of generic ,overpriced, and limited selection. but if it is all you have in your neighborhood, do what you gotta do...or run like el to a Home Depot!

The store was well organized, and the staff was helpful and friendly. There probably could have been more employees around as I had to hunt someone down for assistance. Otherwise, I'd have rated it a bit higher. But, again, the people that I did talk to were friendly.

Just had the BEST experience here. Got a paint color I wasn’t stoked on at Home Depot and the paint associate here fixed the color to something that is PERFECT just by custom adding! She is amazing!! THANK YOU!!

Friendly employees lots parking only 1 hcap though. Have pretty much in what ever you need fair prices.
