Just moved to Hawaii April 1 and blessed to be ocean front on Crozier Drive. Retired and wanted to learn about shore fishing. I Yelped Fishing Tackle and North Shore Sporting goods popped up as closest to me. Just a small local business (typically the best) that offers the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, SELECTION, EXPERTISE and VALUE. JENNY is so knowledgeable! Better yet, passionate, energetic and effervescent. She will work her butt off to assure your fishing experience (first time, experienced or professional) is successful. SHOP LOCAL!

The best fishing supply store on Oahu. Tammy has gone out of her way to respool me twice and gave me invaluable pointers about fishing in Hawaii. She wasn’t at all pushy and recommended a pretty affordable rig which I am already obsessed with. Store is affordable and best of all, they actually love fishing! Highly recommend and please ask for Tammy! A very welcoming atmosphere for someone new to Hawaii also :) Rarely write reviews but I do when i run into genuine people who truly care about their craft and customers.

Walk on and you can almost eat the air. Of the beaten path, but we'll worth the ride. Tucked in a small shopping center. Fresh dough, lots of cheese. Garlic fries, didn't make it back to the family. Flavor town!! Lots of sausage on that pie and cheese city. Hungry for pizza? Here's your place.

As a north shore resident I have honestly given Jerry’s Pizza so many tries in the hopes that I would receive both decent service and food. My expectations are relatively low after prior experiences. Unfortunately my patience has come to an end and I will never eat there again. Last night I called in an order for a meatball sandwich and a salad. I was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later and paid for it, and was told it would be a few more minutes. Not a problem I thought. I stuffed $5 in the tip jar knowing firsthand that working in the food/service industries is not easy. I sat and watched as a few young ladies in their early 20’s placed their order and then went and sat at the table outside. 10 minutes passed and the woman working the counter asked me again for my name and wanted to confirm my order. I provided the info and she said it should only be a few more minutes. 10 more minutes passed and I then watched the women go back to the cook to ask about my order. The friendly and visually embarrassed woman came back and informed me it “was coming up soon”. About 5 minutes later I watched the cook personally deliver a pizza to the young ladies sitting outside -who I watched place their order long after I had called mine in. Their were hugs and laughter between the cook and the young ladies. The cook stayed out there for only a couple minutes…enjoying her little reunion, and then returned to her post with a cold Beer in hand- provided by her friends. Another few minutes go by and finally….my meatball sandwich and salad come out. I thanked the woman working the desk who was apologetic for the wait. I drove home and opened the container to find not a meatball sandwich,….but 2 meatballs and marinara sauce. It took almost 50 minutes to get a carton with 2 meatballs and some sauce….priceless. How’d it taste you ask? It wasn’t bad, but definitely not worth the money or the wait. I could get a much better meatball sandwich at Subway for 1/2 the cost…..and it would take about 3 minutes to make. I guess I will have to bypass the local guy for the chain. Way to go Jerry’s. I honestly do not know how you survive as a business. You can do better than this!

Great store. I keep going back for all my family and my sporting good needs. Most knowledgeable and friendly staff I’ve seen, they taught me how to fish on the shore shore talking me through it as I shopped.

I went in for a new rod, reel, and tackle after many years of no fishing at all. Got hooked up with a great setup for my needs and all of my questions answered. Super friendly and knowledgeable folks in this shop. I'll definitely be back whenever I need more gear. Also they're keeping it clean and safe with the Covid-19 situation, to include masks, hand sanitizer, and limiting the number of customers in the shop.

Awesome store and awesome store owner. Within first five minutes of talking to Luis, I just knew that I really like this guy. His store has just became my default go to place for all my sporting goods needs. I will be bringing over my spear gun to get fixed next week. Louis has everything, from fishing to archery equipment. Located in downtown Waialua, right in the heart of North Shore, this place is very convenient to stop by on the wat to spear fishing on the North Shore. And take time to listen to some of his stories. I will definitely be back.
