“Been looking for a place to replace watch batteries without going far from home. Found Gold Plus on a Yelp search and couldn't believe they were just 5 minutes from home. Went to the shop, brought my 3 watches in a silly Ziploc baggie and in 20 minutes all was done! Time set and all were in working order! What a life saver Gold Plus was and the staff are friendly and easy to work with. The best part? The cost was amazingly affordable! Mahalo Gold Plus for the great work and allowing me time to browse thru your display cases! Will definitely be back and will recommend to everybody!”

“Great little shop. The staff here were nice and were able to answer questions about the area. This shop has lockers for rent so you can lock up your stuff while you snorkel on the beach across the street without worry. As of this post the lockers are $10 to rent. They also have a changing room which was a god send considering the bathroom at the beach is kinda gross. Definitely a place to stop to make sure your visit to sharks cove is more comfortable.”

Always cute clothing which I couldn't pass up on and I met such a very nice and personable manager by the name of Yolanie. Thank you for your help and it was great chatting with you. “We get their emails all the time and since we were going to be here in person decided to wait until we got the Oahu to buy. This store is located inside the Dole store and there is a front kiosk as well as a larger one in back. Met by an exuberant salesperson I found what I wanted and purchased it, along with hard upsell chain. Was given a *free* oyster pick which yielded a pair of equally sized champagne colored pearls. So we have earrings ready for the next trip. Prices range from moderate to pricy - they definitely rely on the tourist trade.”

“Thought I'd do a review of a long standing shop in Haleiwa - this store has been here for a lot of years, so that alone should give you confidence. I have seen it forever, but will admit this was my first time actually stopping in to see what was offered. First reaction - a really nice selection of saltwater and freshwater pearls, reflecting choices from black to baroque to white pearls. Black pearls, white pearls, a mix of colors, this place has a ton of options. What I really appreciated was an honest assessment of each option I looked at - oysters can be finicky with pearls, and create perfection as well as a "perfection" that would appeal to many of us. What I really appreciated was no push to upsell, just a genuine aloha to help me and other people in the store find something that was right for them. This store doesn't have a lot of local reviews, so I felt it important to give a local. honest review. Frankly, I expected just to do a "just looking" walk through - after all, regardless of what tourists think, pearls are not found in our waters, let alone oysters - but the personal service, and the comfort, even glee of pointing out what may not be "perfect" but will have character, is what sets apart a personal sales experience from mass market. Ultimately, I chose a fantastic looking black saltwater pearl with an "imperfection" that played beautifully into the gold clasp. The price was quite reasonable, the help in shopping made it a learning experience as well as a discovery. I don't know anything about pearls, I'm from Oahu and we don't have pearls/oysters here, but I loved this little shop and the honest discovery. If you are local playing tourist for the day like me, or a tourist, for crafted jewelry, this is a very nice spot.”

“Located in Haleiwa, which is on the north side of Oahu. Beautiful pieces of jewelry. They have rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Unique looking items that have natural pearls. Very pretty. Plenty of parking around the store.”

“Staff was lovely, greeted upon entry. It's a great little shop with plenty of options, whether you're buying for yourself or a gift for another. I like coming here because it's still the island style without all the typical touristy island options. I got my favorite beach tote here. Recently priced for what they offer. Parking out front. “Such a cute store with so many cute things!! They didn't have many large sizes available and definitely no XL sizes. Luckily, I was able to find a couple of pieces that sit me and maybe ended up being one of my favorite dresses!! I think what really put the cherry on top for my rating of 5 stars would be the service. The girls there were really on top of helping the customers by taking the clothes and starting a room while we shopped around. They have a larger store in Waikiki but I loved the smaller feel of this one in north shore!”

“I wish that I could give more than 5 stars. It's my first time visiting Hawaii. My bf, brother, and I went to the shopping center and we saw your display. My bf bought me one of your sunrise shell necklaces and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous piece. What makes me love it even more is the people behind this jewelry piece. Meeting Tony & Kim was the best. Such a wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable couple. As Kim was talking to my bf and my brother. Tony was telling me all about the legend behind the sunrise seashell. I loved every bit of the stories and it made me appreciate the jewelry even more. It made it unique. To add to it, if not the stories or the design of the jewelry - it was also the fact that Tony, Kim, and their family go diving and pick these pieces from the ocean. themselves! Just love it. Thank you Tony & Kim so much for adding to my first visit to Hawaii. Thank you for presenting us a piece of jewelry that means so much to me because of everything tied to it.
