Amaury is funny, quick, and takes pride in his work. He is also a solid communicator and reached out with questions as they came up (replacement fin box color, etc.) All in all, a great spot for north shore surfboard repair. Bonus if you get to meet his dogs Chief and Brownie.

Sunset turned my 6’10 into a 6’3. My nose is still somewhere in the Pacific probably. Was too emotionally attached to the board and brought it in to get fixed. Mind you this board had a ton of poorly-fixed, self-done ding repairs, but I brought it in to get a new nose put on. For a very fairprice, Amaury reshaped a nose and glassed it on, and the board looks great! As a bonus, Amaury also redid the entire bottom and rails, fixing all my bad repair jobs to completely revive my board, just out of kindness, no extra charge. Great dude, great repairs, great price. If you need a board repaired and you’re anywhere close to NS, you know where to go.

I have had many an amazing experience with Amaury! He has repaired dozens of my boards at this point, and always does a professional job in a timely manner. He also made me a very impressive acid splash wall art piece made with a big gun. He is very knowledgeable but best of all has an amazing spirit. Such a great guy full of Aloha. He will always be my go to.

My Christenson fish was nearly destroyed by the reef at Rocky Point my first week visiting the North Shore. On short notice, Amaury patched fiberglass & put resin throughout every dent and pressure ding, re-aligned my crooked fin box, and even re-glassed my gnarled future fins all within 2 days ---- he single handedly put magic & life back in to my favorite board in my quiver. Very cool dude. He’s been in the North Shore for 3 decades. He knows his stuff. He’s super reliable and very affordable. Charges less than competitors, but the work quality is far superior.

The nicest guy. He’s been in business here for decades. 24 hour turnaround over the weekend for two dents requiring epoxy. If you have any surfboard issues, Amaury is the man!

Amaury is amazing! I hired him to do several jobs for me in the past few years. He has professionally restored several surfboards for me, to include: full restorations, fin resetting, thousands of dings, rail gashes, and has made custom boards for me. He is wonderful and has many times delivered and picked up the boards for me if I was working. He is friendly, is from Brazil originally, so he speaks fluent Portuguese like me :)He is honest, and works non-stop! His work ethic is to be admired. Amaury is a master of his craft. I had bought a beautiful board and needed a leash plug put in. Not only did he do it quickly but he made it become part of the board as if it were shaped with it. Highly skilled, very friendly, and incredibly reasonable price. I live in Town but will make the drive to North Shore just to have him work on my boards. Easy 5 stars. ***Note, a little hard to find but located in the old sugar Mill grounds just past Fyzel.
