Ray is the owner and he is a terrible person. We purchased a car from his shop for my 18 year old son. Ray said he will charge the AC if it gives us issues. He said the car was in good condition. A month later the car dies out. We replaced the battery, still wouldn't work. We had it towed from Ala Moana to Wahiawa (his shop) which was very expensive. The tow truck company said it was the alternator. Ray "suppose of" replaced it. We paid $500.00 for it, we also asked him to recharge the AC since it went out, he had the nerve to tell us that its missing a part that needs to be ordered and it will cost us $90.00. I told him you said we can have it charged anytime? He's a liar!!! Now, this Thursday (two months since we changed the alternator/battery) my son was driving home from town, the car turns off and he just made it to the shoulder lane before the car completely died out. FSP towed him off the freeway, FSP said its his battery, I told him we just changed it a couple months ago. When we opened the hood, it wasn't the same battery. RAY SWITCHED OUT OUR BRAND NEW BATTERY FOR AN OLD ONE!!!!!!!! SO we had to buy another battery, FSP advised us to have O'Reilly test the alternator since he stole our battery. SURE ENOUGH, the alternator FAILED the test. RAY SCAMMED US!!!!!! Now we have to replace the alternator again!!! DON'T EVER purchase a car from SELECT AUTO GROUP!!!!!!

I bought 2008 F-150 January 2024, truck runs very good no issues. I’m very happy for ray the owner selling me a very good quality used truck, with bad credit he got me a loan approved very appreciated ray. My truck had transmission line wear and tear, i asked ray to fix it and ray was more than happy to help me to get the truck fixed. I recommend everyone looking for quality used vehicle come to ray.

So happy I came to Select Auto in Wahiawa. I bought a 2010 Honda Pilot from Ray and have been able to call him personally anytime I needed something or had questions about the car. He is very hands on and a general happy person always willing to help. I freak out with any little thing when it comes to cars because I have a family and need a good running vehicle. He was honest about the car I was initially interested in and showed me options that were safer and more idealistic for a family. He now had a car detailing shop as part of his dealership and got my car feeling brand new. I appreciate transparency and honesty. I’ve worked for dealerships and I know firsthand how they run. Some are very shiesty. Rays as upfront as can be. He will work out a deal that’s good for you and him.

I bought a 2004 ford f150 4x4 from Ray , Ray is a very honest owner and mechanic. I’ve been driving the truck for a few months and it’s been driving perfectly. I highly recommend coming here for a pre own vehicle, I would definitely come see Ray

Don’t buy any cars from this place. Car will break down a few months later. Warranty offered at time of sale a lot of the shops do not do major work and warranty don’t cover much. Be sure to read and contact warranty company to understand better what your purchasing.
I’m still waiting for this dealership to find me a shop to get the car fix.
Not happy and was told they take care of their customers.

The owner Ray looked at my car for transmission fluid and only put water in it and said to leave it like that for the rest of the time with the car . He also unplugged the battery which resulted in the car stalling permanently. He refused to do anything in order to fix it and still refuses . When I asked about trade ins I was told he doesn't do them ,until I mentioned BBB(better business bureau) he then said we could trade it . Very sketch . Now I have his mistake just sitting in my yard . I posted this same review to Google and he's having it removed because " he never saw me and there's no records " well Ray I have proof I saw you and I got my car from you . I have the copy of the cashed check and as well a confirmed Venmo from Ray . Not to mention the Venmo was for him to fix a part for " free" like he said to start off . But as soon as he finished he said I needed to pay him right there and then . Very sketchy guy

This guy is a liar . He said he's never seen my brother at all for a car and that he's going to report him because he supposedly never saw my brother . Well how does Ray explain this completed payment for a "free service " that he demanded to be paid . He is a scam . Reporting because He(ray) is in the wrong . That's his account , that's him . Ray Dong. Even has select auto group as the picture .

First of all, the car lot was super full and couldnt pull into the driveway because the entrance was blocked with alot of cars . No one picked up the phone when I needed assistance in finding parking or getting into the lot. When I finally got in, there were bunch of chickens and it stinked up the whole place . It was around 11 am and nobody was there it says theyre open at 9 am. Dont really recommend to buy cars from this business . Seems sketchy, unreliable business hours, and unsanitary.
