As the other reviews mention, you're in the right place - don't turn around! It's a little gem tucked away, but you won't regret coming here. My husband and I had never tried mead before but we are new converts!! Seriously yum. We shared a tasting and came away feeling like this was our new drink! The honeys was also delicious. We can't wait to see what they come up with next!

This was by far the best experience of my life. My husband and I did the Bees to Mead tour and it was amazing to walk through what a beekeeper would do during their day. Lewis ( sorry if I spell your name wrong) was the best guide and you could tell that he absolutely loved his job. You could sense his passion for it the entire time. The mead and honey were delicious and the atmosphere was so calm and inviting. Definitely make this a part of your Hawaii trip! You’ll regret it if you don’t.

We are here in Hawaii for our honeymoon and were up visiting the Dole Pineapple Plantation and saw your mead in their giftshop. My husband makes his own mead so we looked up your location and were thrilled in was just 8 minutes down the road. Decided to stop by for a quick tasting and LOVED it. Jordan was so knowledgeable and wonderful with explaining tye history of your honey production and transition into mead.We went with the "in bloom tasting" and I'm so glad we did. Everything we tried was delicious and all very different flavor profiles. So glad we are here for the new Yuzu Blanc because it is unlike anything ice ever tried. We got a bottle and will hopefully get back up that way before we head home.

You need to visit Manoa Honey and Mead before they find new digs this place is unique. My wife found Manoa Honey & Mead after visiting the Old Sugar Mill on the internet. Google directions said it was 18 minutes away so we headed that way. The description on the internet said it was in a neighborhood and as we drove there, it was a neighborhood/ light industry but don’t fret it’s well worth it. And not a bad area just a neighborhood. They have 4 tables 4 parking spots. We were lucky that there was spot to park but I’ll say this after visiting I will find a spot to park even if it’s a few blocks away. They have two tasting one is the Sparkling Mead and one is the Still Mead. We tried them both and the pour is two ounces so we were able to taste each one. It’s well worth a visit to learn about mead. I’ve had mead before but Manoa Honey & Mead was so far superior to what I had. So this should be on your list to visit. One more thing was the honey and cheese plate was very delicious highly recommended. A honey comb was served and spreading it over the top of a hard goat cheese on a cracker was delicious.

Nice little business. Honey is great and you can try it for free. The alcoholic drinks can be tried for a fee.But everything tastes great and there is a relaxed atmosphere.

I haven't visited their shop yet but I've purchased their mead at foodland and it was surprisingly light and refreshing. I also ordered honey for family holiday gifts and the shipping was very fast (locally on island) and their honeys are great! I wish they had more options for gift baskets.

My friend introduced us to the Ghost Pepper Honey, from Mania Honey & Mead, and it's so good with various cheeses (I like bleu, but my friends like it with cambozola). But unless you get lucky at a craft fair, you can only get it at their small shop (located on a small street that appears to be residential area). Since we're from So. California, a 40 minute drive isn't a big deal, but I know most folks wouldn't want to do it, BUT I think it's worth it. We bought a few jars for Christmas gifts, which I think will be appreciated.

A must stop on your Oahu adventure! Really nice place with excellent and daring meads (such as the durian mead), and their honey selection is crazy. I have never had such complex flavors in a honey. The staff here is so knowledgeable. Jordan knew exactly what I was looking for and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bit.

Oh my goodness this place was great. We were amazed at all the unique honey flavor and even bought the ghost pepper one. We also decided to try mead tasting and all the flavors were up to par. 100% would return just for fun :) service was great. She explained everything about the flavors and history even. It is outdoors, we did go late afternoon which even then wasn't too bad considering the sun was still shining bright. There isn't much parking but it wasn't hard finding street parking anyway.

This place is a hidden gem. Definitely in an odd location but well worth it. Jordan was amazing and answered all of our questions. We did a tasting and it was excellent. A great experience and so happy to know they ship outside of Hawaii!

I've dabbled in mead myself and found this so I figured I'd check it out.. Did the "Bees to Mead" tour and it was excellent! Louis, the tour guide and beekeeper for the company, took us to see the bees, explained the caretaking and honey gathering process, and drove us back for multiple mead tastings in addition to some snacks. He's also got a great sense for their mood - nobody was stung in the tour group.Back at the main building we got to try six samples as well as see the process they use to extract honey and produce mead. The samples were all very good - I even left with a bottle of both honey and mead.Super engaging experience and certain to keep you entertained or at least enlightened. Will certainly go back again to purchase more honey and mead! (Street side parking - only although they did set out reserved spots in front of the building for those of us partaking in the tour)

Absolutely love this place. You have to try the witch doctor! The staff are super friendly and you can even try some local goat cheese from the sweet lands farm. Definitely worth the buy. I love that the area, while it doesn't look superb, is super relaxing and I would definitely say go and try some samples to figure out what your desired flavors may best
