I would like to thank the good people at Wahiawa Foodland, especially JR in Produce and Manager Jason for providing me with lots of free cardboard boxes that I need to move house. Also the quality of their produce is always fresh and the service always helpful and friendly.

The shoyu poke is always good, the people who work here are friendly and helpful, and the produce is fresh. Everything is expensive but that's Hawaii, can't be helped.

Great chain of local grocery stores. One stop for cooking supplies and prepared foods. Love their extensive poke bar and accompaniments. Awesome value and good quality.

The workers are friendly, the poke is good.... but the produce looks like throw away scraps being sold at a high price. I'd rather drive to Times.

I love Foodland Wahiawa for its convenience and products. Many of the deli items are pretty good too. A few weeks ago I was able to purchase one of their 75th Anniversary prints. They selected 10 local artists to create thru their art, what Best represents the Food, Family, Friends & Aloha that the Foodland brand brings to our community. I loved it so much I plan to add more to my walls. Other things i love to pick up is their Melon Butter Mochi. A nice chewy mochi with a gentle melon flavor, the butter does not overpower it and its not greasy either. That as well as other Deli Items are good here. I also collect their super cute saimin bowls and other goods. Will post pics of that in the future!

Grocery shopping in Wahiawa, O'ahu, Hawaii...I was in Wahiawa when my mom called me and asked me to get two cans of sliced water chestnuts for her. She said she was going to make spinach dip for the family dinner on Sunday.Ok...I'm not too familiar with Wahiawa, but when I saw Foodland I knew that it was a name that I could trust. I pulled into the free shared parking lot. It looked familiar because I've been to Pho King and Taqueria El Ranchero at that shopping center a while ago.I went browsing up and down the neat, clean aisles. I enjoyed the air conditioning and looking at the fresh flowers, poke, snacks, etc. I saw that they carried green coconut gel (nata de coco) and thought it would be fun to throw a bottle into the almond float dessert. I also got a half off package of salad and a bottle of kombucha for my gut health! Then, I remembered that I actually was there for two cans of sliced water chestnuts. LOL!I couldn't find them in the canned vegetable aisle - I checked twice. Then - I figured out that it might be an ethnic food... Yup!There they were - two brands of water chestnuts. I got one of each brand, checked out, got more Maika'i Points, and went on my way!

Everyone who works here is very friendly. The parking lot is small, spaces are smaller, and it's difficult to get around in a larger vehicle. Prices are as expected. Their hot food counter at the deli is awesome and always has good meals. They just started doing these chicken bowls that are really good pictures in review. Rewards get linked with Hawaiian airlines which is pretty cool.Aloha.

First time there yesterday. First of all the cashier we went to kept bugging us for a phone number and to sign up and something about a discount after saying no many times. Then a customer behind us offered to put his number in for us and she, the cashier, was so quick to say "they dont want a discount" with a tone. Like, excuse me??? Then I noticed our total was WAY too high and looked at the receipt. They charged us $27 for a mini seedless watermelon that was weighted at about 8lbs!!! It wasn't 8lbs for all I know, definitely 2-3lbs. I think the cashier was leaning on the register when she weighted the mini watermelon. We asked her about it and the manager came by and she was all like "well they didn't want the discount" !!! We didn't know that the mini watermelon was going to be $27!!! Even with the discount, I wouldn't have wanted the melon anyways. The cashier's name was Maya.

I always enjoy shopping at Foodland no matter what part of the island. Foodland is known to provide locally grown fruits, vegetables and local items. I like the fact that I can shop and earn points with my Maika'i card for every dollar that I spend. They have weekly specials. I'd you sign up for emails or alerts, the deals come to you on a timely basis. You can decided when and what you need to look for. Upcoming specials include the Thanksgiving Dinner.

It was like every grocery store but I’m giving it fives because of customer service. Our cashier was named Donna and I have never met a friendlier person. We are visiting and she knew the customers in front of us and yet ones behind us. Yet she still treated us like she’s known us for years. Donna, your personality shines and I want you to know you brightened our day. Thank you!

We just left Foodland and this was the worse experience I had. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but that was not enough reason for her to be slamming the items we are buying. Her name is Donna, and her service was a big question mark which I did not like. I hope she gets better days where she doesn’t involve other people .
