Spencer Garcia is awesome. No matter how stressed we were or how many questions, concerns or emails we sent, he has been right there letting us know and keeping us informed through the whole process. He was in the mainland and still emailing or calling us when we needed more information. He made sure he was available to us when we needed it. He kept keeping us updated whether it's the underwriting, getting us the numbers, or letting us know what we need to do when we need to submit things. Even when we were first looking for a lender, he kept calling or checking in which is why we picked him. He made us feel like he wanted to help us and really did his best to ensure we got the best service, help and guidance. He was friendly, patient and always reassured us that it's okay. We got into our forever home thanks to him and his team. The process felt long but it was quite fast. We can't thank him enough for all he did. He made our goal into reality.

I couldn't envision a more streamlined loan approval process for our first home loan. Kennedy provided a clear path through what could have been a confusing and overwhelming process from loan application to approval. Every step of the way was explained, and it seemed that nothing but good news came from Kennedy on behalf of VU: Rate buy-down, lending credits, even accommodation regarding signing and funding dates. Thank you to Kennedy and the entire VU team for this amazing experience of the biggest purchase of my life.

Hit my credit report with a hard inquiry without my authorization. When I asked them why they did that, they said "don't worry about it because I have good credit, it just a few points for a hard inquiry", trying to downplay their mistake. And I when I asked them to remove the unauthorized hard inquiry from my credit report, they said that's not possible then further insulted my intelligence by offering me my own credit report free of charge as compensation for the unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit report. They said they overlooked the part that I did not provide consent to continue the application and did not provide authorization but they ran my credit anyway. Probably not a company anyone should be getting their mortgage from if they are missing the simplest details.

I've seen commercial about Veteran United Home Loans multiple times and decided to give it a chance. We filled out the application, got in contact with Kennedy, pre-approval approved, met with an awesome real estate agent and in a blink of an we moved into our new home. It feels surreal. The whole process went by so quick and it is due to the amazing team that was given to us. We are very thankful to have worked with amazing wonderful people.

Veterans United makes buying homes for active, reserves and retired vets so much easier. As a veteran myself in the Army this is the second time I have worked with Veterans United. They take up if not all majority of the work off your hands so you can accomplish other missions throughout your day. They are very helpful and insightful on all subject matter and quick to respond with any questions and concerns you may have. I highly recommend Veterans United for any service members in the armed forces serving our country. When you are done with your mission for the day you will always have a house to come home to.

I had been working with Alex Tuttle for about two months on a mortgage. He was difficult to get a hold of at times, but never indicated there was a problem with the application or the amount I was borrowing.After a phone call in which Alex informed me he usually deals with much larger loans and suggested I take my business elsewhere, He withdrew my loan application and fraudulently claimed that it was by my request.Not only did I miss out on a low interest rate, the purchase contract I had with the seller expired and another buyer was able to purchase the property. Alex’s incompetence will cost me thousands of dollars in interest and a missed opportunity.
