I love this Ulta. I go out of my way to go across the island to this specific location. Today I got helped by Devina. And the patience she had with me was incredible and went above and beyond trying to find products that perfectly suited me and my specifications. I don't review places often but I cannot stress it enough the customer service here is awesome and will always return here for the best Ulta experience. Even the front counter service is quick and you don't feel rushed at the check out. 10/10 will recomend every time.

Went in in a shirt and crop top and had security following me around every corner. I'm a small girl, and had no pockets so I don't know why he decided to follow me, I was so uncomfortable that I left without buying anything

A sales associate was very enthusiastic about helping my wife try on some make-up. She said there were no tester samples available and that we should buy the one she suggested then she'd help my wife after to apply just a little. Not the whole thing. After purchasing the item, her mood completely changed. She ignored my wife and we had to go up to her and remind her she said she'd help my wife put a little on after purchase. But no, she led us up to the in-house cosmetologist counter and said we needed to book a $30 session and that she couldn't help us. I have no problem with a store try to push its in-house additional services. But she was disingenuous and two-faced. Making my wife think she'd help us afterwards, only to dismiss her and try to get more money from us for something she didn't disclose prior. She was nice before we spent our money there, then completely oblivious to us when the deed was done. It came off as a scam and deceptive. We returned the items we bought and will never be giving our business to this location again.

Long story so here’s the quick version.The girl in store couldn’t schedule my appointment in store because the system was down. It felt like a blow off but whatever. She gave me a pamphlet and told me to call to make an appointment the next day. I explained what I wanted in detail With hair and make up & was told how long that would take And how much it would cost. I showed up early the girl acted like it was a hassle I was there. She kept looking at her watch & Told me she didn’t have time to do my hair AND make up she said she would do my hair one of 2 quick ways and “If I didn’t like those options she gave me I could go home and do my own hair Myself.” Those were literally her words hours before the event. I had no other choice then to stay. There was no time for consultation. She didn’t ask me What kind of makeup I wanted grabbed off the shelf color matched and called it done. Everyone was else was busy with other people. I really wish I had another option. I was so ready to be done by the end of it. I was so disappointed. She upcharged me for everything She was shocked when I showed her the price in the pamphlet and told me the people that made the pamphlet Aren’t the people behind the chair. I could feel the Distain through her “smile” It was a very uncomfortable. It took way longer then I was told it would take so I missed the social portion of the event And barely got their on time. I just paid it and left with hair I hated and cakey make up. I Usually don’t complain but my Tardiness really disappointed my partner And I can’t stop thinking about that.

I went in to return a defective product after being instructed by online guest services to do so. The associate was so rude to me. She took it personally and acted like I was trying to return something in bad faith. The product packaging had malfunctioned and no longer worked. The manager was also rude to me and was refusing to take the return. They both tried to make me feel bad about returning a defective product. When I told them I'd go back to online guest services they begrudgingly processed the return but were so damn rude! They acted like it was coming out of their own paycheck. I'll stick with the Kailua store where they are much more welcoming and friendly.

I love Ulta and the products I can find inside the store. However this specific store had tricked me into getting a Credit card. The lady at the counter had told me they have a new card that is just like the target debit card with rewards. I was happy to sign up since this didn't affect my credit. After I left I realized by looking through the brochure that I did sign up for a credit card. I also had so many issues getting it set up to pay it off and am trying to get it closed down. I am very upset that this happened and yes it was also my fault for not looking more into it. I would expect them to be more accurate when providing information. I have never had any other issues with this store until this day. Please make sure to be more diligent than I was when these questions are asked. They do not have a debt rewards card at all they have 2 types of credit cards.

(Pearl City) I'm not sure if it's because it's a high theft location or what but they definitely profile their customers. If you're going to treat members of the community this way, then perhaps this isnt the market locale for you, and your company should leave and do business elsewhere. Everyone that I saw working all looked like loss prevention staff...very awkward experience

Chicky is an amazing stylist! My go to, she always works wonders on my hair. Trust her blindly!!! Love the manager of this store as well she nurtures a welcoming and friendly environment between the staff and customers. Clean location, great selection, always well stocked.
