I have been a Sams Club plus member and credit ca4d holder for over 20 years. Never liked the Pearl City location. It's always been an inconvenience. From parking to shopping, to leaving. It's a horrible location. I have been waiting for them to announce a Kapolei location or a new pear city location. The old sears would be amazing. I now joined Costco, and I see the difference. The lines are not like Sams Club. I believe it's due to the lack of employees and understaffed. It's been like this for years, though. What can we expect at this point.A positive note. The bathroom remodel is amazing.

Shopping in Pearl City, O'ahu, Hawai'i...As we passed Sam's Club while we were riding the new Skyline (rail transportation), my friend from First Grade suggested that we stop by and get lunch there.Okay! We drove from the Halawa Station to the free covered parking at Sam's Club. I'm not a member, so, I didn't know about the $5.98 (plus 4.712% tax) Kalua Pig plate - what a deal! It came with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad - such a great deal! The Mac salad was a bit bland, but the kalua pig was good!We ate in the cafe of Sam's Club. It's in the corner, near the restrooms. It was a rather cozy space with almost no air conditioning. I had to squeeze our shopping wagon in-between customers and tables and benches. Hmmm...Yes, we had a shopping cart. Some items were just too good to pass up. For example, I got cherries. They were pretty sweet! We also got Mickey Mouse zippered hoodie jackets. They were on sale for less than $15 and were the last two in our size! I also found bags of mochi crunch (Costco didn't have any the last few times that I looked).I wished that I had a cooler in my car. I would have gotten salad kits. I paid about $8 at Foodland. Here at Sam's Club, a similar kit was $2.99. Uhg!Well, maybe I can tag along with my sister to Sam's Club one day. But then again, maybe I'm saving money by not going to Sam's Club? Haha! One challenging thing was:some of the poles were placed in the aisles. We'd have to wait for people to pass before we could get through. Awkward...Overall, it was a fun shopping experience. I liked the spaciousness, air conditioning, clean, bright environment, and scan and go feature. My friend scanned and paid online. We walked right out of the store!

I love the curbside pickup. The workers have always been courteous and responsive to my concerns.

This rating is strictly for the bakery department at the Pearl City location. I've had many rude encounters with the bakery staff in the past and pretty much brushed it off. But last night was unacceptable. I went in to order a cake... rang the bell... I noticed a worker was working on packing items. She acknowledged that I was there but never once faced me. Talked to me rudely with her back facing me the whole time. She said How can I help you? I said Im just here to place a cake order... She rudely cut me off and said "NOOOO we're booked" I said "even for this Saturday? " which was 48 hrs in advanced. Usually 24 hours is sufficient. She said "Nope!!" Never took a second to even give me a glance. So rude. I mean... wouldn't you think working with cakes and cupcakes would make you happy? Maybe sis needed a hug? If that was the case... come around sis bring it in... you work with frosting. Thats AWESOME! :o)

OPEN HOURS:Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pmSaturday: 9am - 8pmSunday: 10am - 6pmBUSINESS & PRIME MEMBERS Hours:Monday - Friday 7am - 10amSaturday 7am - 9amLove this Sam's Club location! It's close to home, not as crowded as Costco and has everything I need. There's plenty of parking, upstairs and downstairs and in the same shopping center as Pearl Highlands theater, 24hr Fitness, Ross, Buffalo Wild Wings and more! You can get so much done in just this area.I come here often for my grocery shopping and probably visit at least once a week. The main groceries like milk, eggs, vegetables, fruits and meats are always available. If you find something special though, usually it doesn't last long on the shelf, so get it right away! They have a small food court that serves pizza, hotdogs, ice cream and some other on the go snacks. Their pharmacy is to the far right wall once you enter the building. Help desk is to the immediate left of entrance. For locations of their products, organization of the store looks like this when walking in:-All household items, jewelry, electronics, office supply, paper goods, home items and appliances are on the left side. -Outdoor furniture, sports equipment, snacks and clothing line the middle aisles.-Right aisles include all your dry/canned food goods, seasonings, beverages, coffee, baby supplies and healthcare products.-Back of the warehouse includes all the fresh and frozen groceries, flowers, meats, bread/cakes/pastries, ice cream and poke bar.-Ice bags, extra boxes and registers/self-checkout is all located up front. You're probably thinking, "Wow! She must work here." haha I actually do not but I come here so much and it's nice to know where all the items are located so you're in and out really quick!

Never have I ever thought that I'd shop at Sam's Club so much! When I was younger, I worked in a couple different grocery stores, so it never really occurred to me to shop anywhere else for groceries, really, even knowing this was one of my Grandpa's favorite places to shop when he was still alive. Now I'm grown with a family, and you realize how much buying in bulk can help you save, just not going overboard. Diapers and wipes here are an absolute lifesaver! I bring my kids shopping with me, and it is hilarious when you ask my 3 year old what his favorite store is, and he responds, "Sam's Club"!! He must be named after my Grandpa! Hahaha...Anyway, we usually always find what we need here, and more! I'm also grateful for the scan & go in the app. It sucks standing in lines with 2 toddlers. Lol

You know things aren't the greatest when you're willing to travel further to get similar things. That's my case...though Sam's is very close to me, I rather go to Waipio to do my shopping. When I go to Sam's I always leave somewhat irritated..no other place in the island does this to me.- Parking always seems to be a nightmare. - Parking stalls - They're so narrow, how are you supposed to load your groceries? Yeah you can go head in...but I feel that 80% of Hawaii people back into straight stalls. Costco has it figured out with huge stalls..which makes loading your car way faster.- After paying- you gotta wait in a long line just to get out.- The building is too concrete where you can't use your Sam's Club Scan & Go app..there is so much potential to speed things up through this app..but it's challenging when you can't get reception. I love using the app since it allows me to beat the line but it doesn't work because of the lack of cell reception. There's so much potential with Sam's but for now, I think I'll go elsewhere..or the town one unless I really need to.

Please do not bother getting AT\\u0026T. The hidden fees and additional fee’s are out of hand. We were told we would qualify for discounts because we were first responder workers as well as students. I work as a Medical Assistant and we have a Dietitian. No matter if you work in a health clinic, they only give discounts to BSNs, Medical doctors and want your certificates numbers. Also for students, NOT ALL Students. There are CERTAIN schools you have to go to to qualify. What a scam. Now me and my siblings are $6,000 in debt and disappointed.

I love Sams club. I'm here every week to do my grocery shopping. They have a variety of products that I just can't get at Costco. First off, their chicken is the best as far as thighs and wings goes. You can't beat that price and Costco doesn't carry fresh wings. I love their wine and alcohol selection as well.Their self checkout process is very quick and I love how you could hold the scanner and move it around and Costco you cannot. What I don't like is their food court. Why is it so darn slow? Their efficiency is terrible and I've been here more times that I can count when their icee machine wasn't working. Please hire more staff at the register at the food court! Especially during peak hours... we shouldn't have to wait over 30 minutes to get a slice of pizza and an icee float!

Visiting this OG Sam's Club is quite nostalgic as I completely forgot how to enter the parking lot lol!! I remember making the drive and was looking forward to the cafe hotdog and drink deal was just mind-blowing though the last time I've been here it was all outside lol!!Needing some items that is currently in the savings book deal since I was in the area decided to stop by, but omg I've forgotten how huge this parking structure which I almost gave up on but got lucky to find one nearby.Beautiful Club though the layout is so different I was actually relying on the signs to guide me to check my needs off the list though I think it was good to have that struggle or I may walk out much more items than needed haha!!!Their cafe is like an afterthought in the corner where there isn't much room to park your giant cart and stand in line I gave up on the hotdog today and decided to keep my cravings in check. They do also have a gas station off site just a few minutes drive up the hill sharing the lot with Walmart so this is a great convenient location to get many things done.Thank you!!

Sam's Club is usually well stocked with more variety than the other Club Stores around. But what really makes this Sam's Club standout is the friendly attitude of its employees. Whenever I shop there, I'm greeted by employees with a "good morning" and a smile. Even while walking through the aisles, workers there will stop and greet me, asking if I need help finding anything. I super enjoy the "scan and go" feature available through their mobile app which allows me to bypass the long checkout lines at both the cashier and self service. It also provides me with an electronic receipt of my purchases for my record. I've been to the Sam's Store in town on Keeaumoku Street in the past and the atmosphere there is vastly different. The employees' attitude there seemed so "rushed" and impersonal. I invite those in town to shop at the Pearl City Sam's Club and experience the difference in person.

Love the products they stock, love that I don't have to wait in line because of Scan & Go. But a lot of Pearl City Sam's Club employees seems like they don't like their work. Surly and dismissive. Not the right place to work at if you don't like the public

When the service of curbside pickup was offered because of the Covid 19 Pandemic it truly was a excellent added service for myself as well as many others for so many circumstantial reasons, whether it was from not dragging kids and our elders in an unsafe environment, the frustration of having a few people NOT following protocol of using mask or keeping their distance made it easier to get essentials without the anxiety of staying safe as an individual. So yes thank you for this service!

Hey Sam!!! Why don't you match your own on-line prices, especially if the item doesn't get shipped here to Hawaii. Why does it take a long time for you to answer your phones? Then, is it too hard for you to answer the phone politely and pleasantly respond to inquiries... uuuugh... by the way, your restrooms are ghetto nasty...
