Mobile deposit is not worth waiting for another 3 days . Especially if you know you can be in branch in a day or 2 and need to make a payment. I will no longer use mobile deposit.

Just came from this bank, and I come here once a month. My tellers name is Lenelle, told me I can't cash my check that was written to me in my name also a hawaii USA check. Lenelle called manager and manager said it's ok and she just needs my fingerprint and Lenelle still did not cash my cash told me "I need to do background check" will not be coming here anymore. Please train your tellers better

Family has business with them. Friends worked for them. There ATM was easy to use for what I needed it for, checking balance and withdrawal. The only thing is,, unless I missed it, is the money denominator, it only dispense $20, no option to request larger bills, like $50 or $100, carrying a wad of money on a large withdrawal is unsettling for female, older and are not able to have someone accompany you for safety reasons. I know there are other options, but sometimes you don't have a choice...sharing.

Manny…able to make a decision on the fly about a big withdrawal without my first seeing if the cash was available…very understanding, friendly and professional throughout my transaction…nice HawaiiUSA branch, very accommodating.

Lady with flowers on both arms tattoo all over sunflower ocean. No customer service just wants you out the door. Do not listen to what I asked to put on my cashiers check. This has reoccurred more than once.

Poor customer service! Went in to the Pearl City location and asked for a temporary check since I had to pay a utility bill with cash or check due to their system being down. The teller said the only way I could get a temporary check is for me to place an order for checks. I explained my situation and asked if I could just get one temporary check that they print from their computer to pay a utility bill and further explained I don't normally use checks. She responded "the only way I can give you a temporary check is if you order a box of checks, THAT IS WHY WE CALL THEM STARTER CHECKS." The sarcasm and rudeness was unnecessary! One, I am much older than her and have been a member of this financial institution for many years! Two, I have been employed by financial institutions and understand what a temporary check is, which is why I asked for one.I looked for a nameplate or name-tag, but she had none... Good customer service is hard to find these days!!

Had an appointment scheduled to apply for a personal loan. Normally I do my banking services at the Mililani branch but decided to go to Pearl City branch since it's close to my work. Got seen right away. The loan specialist that helped me was Chelsea. She introduced herself & told me my loan got approved. What made it easy was I applied on the app which was easy to do. Chelsea was very professional, nice, easy to talk to & made eye contact with me. She explained everything to me in detail. She gave me her business card & told me if I had any questions I could give her a call.Love banking with HAWAIIUSA FCU!

Here to get out some money to pay the bills. Today wasn't that crowded. We usually go to this location because they have a drive thru teller and ATM. You can either go inside to do your banking needs or use the drive thru tellers and one of lanes they have a drive up ATM. It is very convenient because their is two lanes to use the drive thru tellers. Their is a lot of parking at this location.

Save your time and money and go to Bank of Hawaii. Omitting to disclose charges for "insufficient funds" as a loophole to your customers who opt out of courtesy pay and other similar coverages is unethical and corrupt. I was required to open an account while applying for a business loan, I signed 2 documents and clearly stated that I did not want to be charged if a transaction is made and there are not funds in the account. This is not my main account and therefore do not monitor it regularly. I only opened the account because I had to and stated that "I would like all charges to be declined, and not be charged any additional fees if there are not funds in my account." I have since been charged $200 in a single week for "insufficient funds" from Hawaii USA Customer service has been no help & claims no charges can or will be refunded. This bank/branch steals from people who already don't have money to spare. They lost my business and I highly advise you go elsewhere. If it means you pay a higher interest rate, you'll still pay less in the long run because they will find other ways to rack up charges.

This has been the best bank/credit union I have dealt with. Very straightforward and easy to get things done. I was with another credit union for 18 years and it was a hassle doing business with them so I closed my account and now I'm doing everything with Hawaii USA. This is gonna be my bank for a long time.

This credit union always gives me a hard time. Today I'd used the ATM machine and I didn't get the debit card back and now I have to wait 4 days to get it back and I wasn't even able to finish my transaction because the ATM wouldn't let me.

Came here on a Tuesday around 12 and there were about 3 tellers and 1 person in front of me. I ended up leaving here around 12:50 pm and I was only there to deposit money and was the second person in line. When it hit 12:30 there were at least 4 people behind me waiting as well. The wait was long and staff did not apologize to any of us for the wait. I usually go to Chinatown Hawaiiusa so this was my second time coming to this branch. Will give another shot :)

Hey! New HawaiiUSA member but not new to credit unions. What even is a bank?! Lol. I'd like to preface this by saying I make the drive from Kahalu'u to this branch because it's simply the best. There's a branch at Windward Mall which is convenient but this location is top notch! Parking is a breeze which is so refreshing since traffic on the island is getting back to pre-pandemic capacity (boo). There are a few handicapped stalls with an easily accessible curb/sidewalk cutout. There's an ATM right as you enter the sliding doors. The drive-thru feature is a nice touch so hopefully they'll be able to get that up and running soon. I opened my account with Davilyn and had such a positive experience I wanted to take the opportunity to thank her on Yelp. I recognize and appreciate her hard work and excellent customer service, so much that I returned with my partner a few months later to have her open an account and see if we could consolidate a few bills. She provided a few options, going over each in detail. The way she handled everything made us feel like our needs were being met and made us feel validated with the concerns we had. We were able to save over $400 by consolidating bills! What a glorious feeling to see light at the end of the tunnel. We were informed of a "level up" perk, that, if in a year, payments are timely, we can come in and get an even better rate on our existing balance. This is something my previous credit unions didn't offer but happy to be a member here and will indeed take advantage of this when applicable. Don't forget to download their app, I use it almost daily. It's extremely user friendly and I haven't found it to be limited. Truly an incredible experience working with Davilyn. We walked out of there feeling like we mattered, I mean, after all, "Life matters", right?

Tyler is such a smiley, friendly and professional worker. The moment I got helped from him, I knew he was that type of person who takes his work ethic SERIOUS & fast enough for everyone to deal with. It was a smooth sailing day for me. Thank you very much for all of your help today. I'm pretty sure all the people you helped out and will be helping will say the same. Kudos to all of their team making it work as well in the Pearl City area.
