131 Puuhonu Way, Hilo“This my original credit union and I highly recommend it. They have updated their procedures and equipment over the years. The staff is friendly and efficient and don't forget to get their Maebo chips to support the staff in their midnight madness walk against cancer fundraiser.”

66 Lono St, Hilo“I help a kupuna with her banking here. Although it is very difficult to communicate by phone, they are so willing to help in person. Both the tellers and other personnel have gone beyond their roles to assist us with various issues. Kupuna are targets of scammers and we have often changed strategies to keep her account safe and secure. They have called me on several occasions when there are suspicious activities with her account. I have so much aloha for their kokua.”

111 Aupuni St, Hilo“Natasha is the best! Hold on to her, give her a raise, and some kuddos!! This woman worked with me via email, and my husband in person. That is a challenge in itself. Her service is superior! Thank you Natasha!!”

120 Waianuenue Ave, Hilo“I have never received anything, but excellent, friendly service here. Unlike my previous bank, I get free paper statements because I'm 65+ and I receive 3 times the interest I did on my old checking account. The parking is a little funky, but no one's perfect.”
“Best bank in all of Hilo that goes for inperson experince as well as the website / app. I have tried every bank on Island, ASB is always a lovely experince and great customer service”
“The employees at this branch are really kind and helpful. When I encountered a major difficulty with the ATM machine, they were extremely competent and knew exactly how to help me quickly.”

111 Puainako St Bldg F, Hilo“If money doesn't grow on trees, why do banks have branches? I mean, I'm not complaining--in fact, I quite like that First Hawaiian Bank expanded to have more convenient branches around town in recent years! Not the least of which being their Waiakea branch, located right next to Prince Kuhio Plaza where the old Blockbuster used to be (the building was empty for a while...). Given that FHB's main branch in Hilo tends to be very busy at most times throughout the day, having another option nearby is always welcome. The Waiakea branch tends to be very convenient in my experience as well. They're rarely as busy as the main branch, always have way more than enough parking, and have tellers available to help in person as well as virtually if their on-site staff are occupied. Also, by virtue of its convenient location, you're allowed to avoid the craziness of driving downtown, which is almost reason enough by itself if ever you were on the fence about swinging by the Waiakea branch instead of its larger counterpart. With all that being said, I don't really think you can go wrong with either of the locales, but it really is nice to have more options these days. Especially once that don't really cost you anything experience-wise and even provide added conveniences. Don't hesitate to hit them up if you need to do a little banking and are in the area. I don't think you'll find any dropoff in quality.”
“CU Hawaii FCU has been incredibly helpful to me. Whenever I come in to deposit my cash, they work fast to get me out of their in just a couple of minutes. I’ve gone to some other banks and their wait time is long, but these guys are efficient and got good service ?”
“been banking here for years love that they greet you upon entering and most of the tellers know you by name love the personalized service and the bonus open on saturdays”
